Asked a student about the speech. Typed my outline and printed it. That was it actually.

Then someone said that I needed something creative.

I thought "No sweat, I'll just pull out my Star Force and ZXA games and use that as a visual", because I was going to end with Star Force and ZX.

I looked in my backpack and I realized that I stopped carrying all my DS games at school when I cleaned it out months ago.

Before I went into the class, I saw a kid who I remember just happened to play ZXA before. I asked him if he had it, and to borrow it for 4th block. He lent it to me, and I was ready for my speech.

I talked about his beginning, how he affected my childhood, and his future. I'm sure I bored some people about my speech, but I didn't care, I just wanted to get it over with.

I went home. Took a nap. I'm online Brawl rite nao.

Tomorrow I'm heading out for Florida 'till Tuesday. Should be a good, relaxing trip. I'm missing four days of school, so I can't really complain at all.

I'm pretty sure meeting you people would be entirely awkward.

"So..."
'Yeah...'
"Internet. That's, uh, that's cool yeah?"
"... Yeah."

Then again, you younger ones would have an easier time of it.

I only went once, when I was 11 or 12. So long ago, too. But I can remember it so well, it was THE best.

Better than Magic Kingdom. And think about what Magic Kingdom is like for an animator.

Long day - rather, long afternoon, which consisted of me trying to rein in about twenty trumpet players from visiting middle schools, lead them in practice of a mass-band piece, and then adding my trumpeting to their own for the piece proper.

Twelve-year-olds are an unruly bunch, I must tell you. By the time the afternoon was over, I had an intense headache and was ready to die.

Went to work. There's too many employees there so I was asked to go home. I worked for an hour and clocked out.

And here I am. I'm either going to do work, draw, or play Brawl.

My day was alright........We had Military Day at High School today. There was a big "Carnival" type thing going on With lots of freebies. I particularly like the "United States Marine Corp" sticker I got since 2 of my brothers are in the marines. Other than that, I came home, got yelled at by my Step-Dad (It happens every day) and I worked on my forum a whole lot. That's about it until I posted this.

I wish we had that situation where I work. Instead we have on average two missing shifts per (weekend) day, ON TOP OF our usual understaffed situation.

Actually, it was a weird day. I walked in and they said they didn't really need me. There was like... ten people already there.

Last week it was short. I literally walked in and there were three people working.

Did you ever get the feeling your friend is only your friend because you're there and it's convenient, like they wouldn't enjoy to be around you if it was at a different place or under different circumstances?
Yeah, that's how my day was, I spent the whole day feeling sorry for myself while watching a Scrubs marathon and at the same time finally finishing Kirby64. At long last I finally found all those crystal shards and defeated the real final boss.
I'm still pretty bummed about stuff.

I couldn't find Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence
I couldn't find One Piece Movie 8
I couldn't find any One Piece volumes past 16.
I couldn't find Rondo of Swords.

I got Dragon Quest Swords though!

I got a bunch of my comics signed at NY Comic Con.

My favorite reaction was Phil Jimenez saying "Whoa! Blast from the past!" when I asked him to autograph a Justice League International comic (#68) from 1994. It's pretty interesting when you see the artists in real life and seeing the artists interact.

Also, I bought an artwork of Spiderwoman even got it lower than usual thanks to haggling.

Then I went to work immediately after. My coworkers could tell something happened to me for I was happy. Boy I can't wait for next years Con.

So, I'm at this Florida resort. I've been at this Florida resort. It's been awesome, fun, relaxing, etc.
They have an arcade. I vowed not to enter it at all, seeing as it would be stupid to waste my vacation playing videogames, something I do all the time anyway.

Yet, today, it rained. So, I wandered inside.

And.

AND.

They have #####ing MegaMan: The Power Battle.

I made it a point to rape the entire high-scores list, both Time and Score. I had a crowd of little kids watching me in awe as I played through each course (MM1-2, MM3-6, and MM7) using only two quarters.
It's sad that this is one of the high points of my vacation.

In the Skateworld near my house they have MM: The Power Battle also.

But I always sucked at it when I used to go there.

I broke 500,000 later, but I didn't have my phone with me to take any pictures. Maybe later I will, but I highly doubt it. It's not that exciting.

It's funny, I own the game as part of MMAC, and yet I never really care for it until I have to dish out quarters and pay to play.

Other highlights of my trip so far:

- room service
- nearly perfect weather
- iPods in the sun
- group of topless hotties on the beach

'Kay, today I woke up and went to school.
I spent most of my morning holding onto a certain someone's thigh.
Then I went through a perfectly normal school day, but I felt sad for some reason. After awhile I realized it wasn't that I was sad, I was just bored, I've gotten tired of the same old thing everday. So yeah, boring day at school.
I went home and played MGS.
I played for about 6 hours. As I played I began to think about how awesome Project S is going to be, I mean, seriously, I now see how awesome Hideo Kojima is. I mean Project S is a collaboration between Kojima and Suda51. I mean that's bound to be awesome.
So yeah, I fought Psycho Mantis. Man, it was everything I heard it was, Mantis is a fun character and a wonderful 4th wall breaker. While he was talking he said something that made me sad, he said he was going to read my mind, which I'm pretty sure is the part where he reads the memory card for other games made by Konami (or Nintendo if you're playing the GC version) and he said he saw nothing. Then I got to thinking about how much I hadn't gotten out of the PS2. I never had a PS so I never got to play any of the gems that were on it and I barely own any good games for the PS2. You can't blame me though, I mean, my brother bought it and all he did with it was buy stupid Final Fantasy games and a bunch of stupid anime related games. I mean and then I even bought him FF12, but nooo all he cares about is FF7! I mean jeeze, if we're going to have a PS2 around let's go buy some good games. I should've started buying games for the PS2 on my own awhile ago. So I guess buying MGSEC was a step in the right direction.
Don't get me wrong, I still hate Sony, it's just there's a bunch of good exclusive titles on the PS2. Did I mention a few weeks ago how I accidentally broke a PSP and how I have to now pay for it? Those greedy bastards at Sony can't even make a durable handheld...
...Then my brother bought a PSP just to play FF7CC. Which he hasn't even touched ever since he bought it.

Phycho Mantis will mention any Konami game saves you have on your memory card.

Also, Project S will be about Snatcher, another Hideo Kojima game that only ever got released on the Sega CD for Americans. It's an excellent game, and I consider it one of my favourite games ever.

Yeah, but Suda51 is helpin' him out with this one, so it'll be even more awesome.
Oh dude, you know what made me sad, Colonel told me to get Meryl's number off the back of the CD case, and it isn't on the back of the MGSEC version of the MGS box. I had to check out the enclosed instruction book.

Phycho Mantis will mention any Konami game saves you have on your memory card.

I know that, and I mentioned it. Though I'm pretty sure I've heard him say the names of Nintendo games in the GC version.

Today was boring. I fell asleep during all my classes and the only time when my day got really exciting was when I was tutoring my favorite Japanese student Yuuko. She's hilarious and isn't afraid to ask questions about the English language.
I'm thinking about making some soup when I get home... I have an urge to play X2 as well... might do both...

My mother and I went foodshopping today since Ray and I misplanned our budget this month.

Worked noon to four thirty.

The sun came out while I was waiting for the bus.

Oh, GOD it felt so GOOD. There's been snow and cold and clouds all around here lately, but sitting in the sun, it felt WARM and PLEASANT. I didn't really want to get up when the bus came. ._.;
