I hate St. Patricks day.

I'm wearing grey and will most likely punch anyone that pinches me.

Sometimes I forget it's St. Patricks day, but even when I remember, I don't care. I wear a normal shirt as if it was a normal day. I go through a cycle of shirts in my closet so whatever I'm wearing is usually random, I don't normally like to pick and choose, I just pick out whatever clothing is next in line.

Looking at my closet right now, I only have one green Oneil shirt. I just don't care for the day. I think it's stupid.

Wow, I'm happy my mom didn't put me Patrick, just because I was born today. That'd have sucked. A lot.

Anyway, today on English class I asked the teacher if there was going to be any raptors in the class.
Apparently, we'll talk about raptors if we have extra time during the year. Heh.

Hey, I don't like it either(St. Patrick, I mean. Apparently, people like their birthdays.). We don't go over any celebration here, anyway. Just some people who use it as an excuse to get VERY drunk.

...why on EARTH would you hate St. PATRICK'S Day?

ARE YOU INSANE?

It's solely responsible for a plethora of great season mint-flavored treats (like the Shamrock Shakes at McDonalds!) and it's a wonderful celebration of the color GREEN.

THE COLOR GREEN.

THAT'S THE BEST COLOR THERE IS.

On my case, it's sort of like when  people with surnames that mean something do the opposite of what their surname is. Like, there was this guy whose surname was "Badleg" or something like that (IN spanish, Malagamba) and he was a runner.

Who hates St. Patrick's Day?
What the #####?

> me and some friends
> National Grammar Day
> English teacher

I know you don't care, but this made me laugh my ass off anyway, C.

YEP.

I haven't see too many people whose worn green so far...

I think one of my friends is wearing pink, though.

Yeah I was surprised that not many people in the Gonq were wearing green today but I'm sure they will tonight. I'd be going drinking if it wasn't #####ing Tuesday and I didn't have to get up at #####ing 6am on Wednesdays.

My friend Brian and I, who are often more apathetic about this kind of thing, both wore green shirts today. Him in his green Boston Red Sox shirt with their mascot on it (the green monster), and me in a similar-idea shirt for the Boston Celtics (1986 World Champions with their mascot Lucky, who is a leprachaun) and we along with Ian my animation teacher who looks like Robert Downey Jr. were surprisingly the only people wearing green in the class. And the class has girls that are the type to do this kind of thing. So lame when people don't take part.

I wound up wearing green by accident because I forgot to change my shirt from yesterday.
It's not like I went anywhere though.

Green. Good color. It's probably my favorite color, yet for some reason I have a billion blue shirts and only two green ones.

Granted, I'm on a university campus where everybody basically worships any excuse to drink, let alone a whole holiday for it.

Yeah, when I went back to Residence after class and I noticed a lot of people wearing the green Algonquin shirt. There's probably going to be a party in the courtyard (seeing as there's already a ton of people there) and there will probably be another fire alarm tripped by some drunk idiot yelling "OLE! OLE OLE OLE! WE ARE THE CHAMPS WE ARE THE CHAMPS" because that seems to happen a lot on these kind of days.

You looked oddly strange without it, but good with a goatee (sp?).

You look better with the beard.

Shaving can dramatically change the appearance of your face, but strangely, some people don't notice for a bit.
That, however, is impossible not to notice.

Oh, and if you grow a goatee I will staple your face to a TPS report.
I don't think would work on you, mate... but the Captain Ahab you had going worked OK.

I still think mutton chops would work best with you man.

My beard never gets that long. I shave periodically, and then every once in a while I just let the whole thing grow again.

I keep the mustache and everything, as you've all seen.

Anyway I don't think you look bad without a beard.

Man, I'm still fighting pimples. I have proactiv for it. Facial hair is a kind of obstruction in those situations.

You have no idea how much I try to keep my face clean and I still get pimples. And I KNOW I'm not just bad at it, the stuff is actually working. But it only treats the problem, it's not a cure.

Guess I should be thankful how clear it looks right now.

A creepy beardless stalker!

ANYWAY THIS WEATHER IS JUST FABULOUS

I am a big fan of this weather.

Going on stage for summore' comedy tonight, then again tomorrow night, I believe.

I'm pretty lucky my Res Hall hasn't has an alarm go off yet.

The other 2 have, one was an actual fire (in an elevator, where there are no smoke detectors). One was because somebody was smokin' dope in their room and it set off the detector.

Yes they do, but it's only happened once on a weekday and I'd like it to stay that way. Other wise they happen every other weekend.

Apparently at the Gonq people just pull them because people are so el-oh-el hilarious.

And yeah, most of the time they're drunk when they do it too. Every single fire alarm so far has been pulled by drunk people.

Except for one, when somebody thought there was an actual fire because she saw people using Fire Extinguishers and pulled the alarm right away.

What she didn't know was that drunk idiots were "extinguishing" each other because it was, like you said, el-oh-el hilarious.

Yeah, I've come to hate drunk people ever since I started college.

But I might.

I'll tell you what, though, these guys bring in good shows. Last Comic Standing passed through (it was their last show of the tour, even), that Beatles impersonation group that's really cool (Rain, I wanted to go but missed it), a bunch of big plays that I don't care about, and there's other big-name stuff I'm forgetting.

But yeah, whether or not I go tonight depends mostly on the ticket costs. I have poor friends.
