I use inter-urban trails with pedestrian bridges when I can.

Granted, I'm superlucky with my city in that regard.

Let's just say I could give you exact directions to my house from Yonge Street in not very many sentences. I'm about a half hour drive north of Toronto.

Well that's not so bad. That's double my drive from downtown Ottawa (non-highway anyway).

Kanata is about 30mins from downtown Ottawa on the highway... Though we do kind of make sure they don't pretend they're from Ottawa soooo...

I finally got my pitch package for fmy film back today. No real comments from 'em but they had some ideas for the ending that I'm not really into so I'll have to talk it out. Other than that I got a great mark on it so I'm happy about it. I'm gonna have to storyboard like a madman this weekend although it's Canadian Thanksgiving.

Which reminds me I'm going to my girlfriend's mams' on Saturday for that, it's gonna be interesting.

Today I played a game I made up called "Tim Baldwin" and what I do is I Google my own name and then see who shows up first in the results: Alec Baldwin or Tim Robbins.

Alec Baldwin usually wins, but today Tim Robbins won! Good for him!

More IMPORTANTLY!!!!!!

I found THIS!

This is a Flash game I made in... 2003, I believe. It was the summer between 7th grade and 8th grade. I went to a 2-week computer camp thing (nerd!) at the University of Michigan, called Camp CAEN! I spent the entire time ignoring the lessons and I made this really cool Flash game rail-shooter thing called "The Razor's Edge" and it was really cool and had some pretty bad and loud music in it that I stole from the internet!

I won the "Best Project" or whatever award and they told me they were putting it on the website but I never found it and then I lost all the data from my old computer that I made it on and then I completely forgot about it UNTIL TODAY!

TODAY:

While I was playing an innocent game of TIM BALDWIN...

I ran across...

THE RAZOR'S EDGE!

(Turn your volume down!)

PROTIP: Aim for the heads! I actually made it so you kill them faster with headshots! How awesome is that! The bosses will be hard to kill without headshots! The game is definitely possible to beat, I just beat it again to be sure! ALSO: don't just shoot blindly! Every time you miss, you lose a point! That's bad! Everyone post your high scores!

I was lying, I can't beat my game, it's too hard! I keep trying but I can't beat it! I keep dying at the end of Level 3.

I know I beat it plenty of times when I first made it, so it's really frustrating me.

Anybody who can beat it, I will personally send you a free The Beatles(TM) Limited Edition Collector's Edition Postcard that came with The Beatles Rock Band!

Which reminds me I'm going to my girlfriend's mams' on Saturday for that, it's gonna be interesting.

Oh I've known them for a long time 'cause her and I have been friends for years before going out so it's no biggie that way. I'm gonna know almost everyone there except her mom's boyfriend and his son. But my girlfriend's mom, sister, and sister's boyfriend think I'm the ##### and her brother probably thinks I'm OK so it's cool.

I broke up with Linda so I don't have to worry about any a that. But from the way she talks about them they'd be very weird. Not the cool kinda weird, the uncomfortable-have-you-eaten-my-daughters-pussy-yet weird.

Today I bought some'a them Col-erase pencils. I also bought a scale.

My max weight was 230. I am now 170.

I have lost 60 lbs.

Thanksgiving at the gurrfriend's was surprisingly unpainful I guess. Later on the two of us watched Labyrinth (which neither of us had seen in years) and some more of The Inbetweeners, I'm not sure if I've mentioned it but it's a British comedy she showed me that I really like now.

There was blood! I was scared! It was outside in the parking lot and it drew a big crowd and went on for like 10 minutes and nobody stopped them.

There was a fat guy running and knocking on doors screaming "CAAAAAAAAAAAAT FIIIIIIIGHT!" It was kind of ridiculous.

I'm a super nerd.

After playing Paintball a whole lot yesterday, i stayed up until 4:30 AM toying with the final version of Win7.
Woke up at 6AM, went to New Hampshire, a place called Clark's Trading Post, they have a bear show and stuff there, it's cool.

Got home at 7:40.
Running on little sleep.
Got soaked.

GREAT stand-up set tonight. I did really well again, I'm on a roll with this new material and my more laid-back persona on-stage. Performing stand-up is the most fun I've ever had, and it's extremely rewarding. Brought my buddy Heather along and afterwards she dragged me to a club where an electronica duo called EOTO was playing. She's insane and by the far the most active socially out of anybody else I know, so an adventure with her is always welcome and sure to be full of surprises.

She knocked a dude out for touching her ass. It was hilariously awesome, if a little uncalled for.

EOTO was really great, I'm a fan. I'd never heard of them before but they're supposedly pretty big. Their stuff is entirely improvised and I loved it.

And I'm home just in time to watch the second encore of Mad Men.

Supposedly if my college gets two more confirmed cases of swine flu, the whole place will be shut down for a week and decontaminated. One week of paid "vacation"! :D

You haven't seen the signs all over campus saying "Ooohah stay home and stop the spread of H1N1!" at all? They're everywhere.

And it's stupid bull##### since swine flu is just  like, uh, the regular flu? And people are just unsurprisingly freaking out over it. Remember bird flu? Yeah, exactly.

Still I can't afford to get sick this year (I generally get a mild flu every February because I take the busiest bus in the city for an hour at least twice daily and do stupid things with the heaters on it and at school) so I might get double vacc'd.

I've seen them, but I've never even heard of anybody actually having the swine flu around here. Just a bunch of warnings.

And yeah, people are freaking over this thing for no reason. It is indeed stupid.
