Nearly all schools are like that, hell, people deal in the classrooms half the time.

In fact, the other day we had a sub teacher and a lot of the kids in the back were rolling it..

Newsflash; It's not just in high school, it's everywhere. Getting out of high school won't change that. It's just part of an adult life, deal with it. Not that we should even be talking about this here.

Crazy-fun day today, what with it being senior skip day and all.

I'm too tired to type it up, so I won't, but just picture lots of fun, lots of basketball, lots of climbing, lots of people, and lots of cars.

We ended it with going to the theaters and finding out the only thing playing was Iron Man, so we saw it again and, as the only people in the theater, had a lot of fun messing around in there.

Yesterday, I went to some band performance in the school auditorium called "Spectrum", $5 a ticket. They took everyone's when we went in. Lights were flashing everywhere for extra effect for the performance.

After the lights dimmed down, the actual performance began. Meanwhile, the fire alarm lights were still going off. No one did anything until someone had to get on the intercom and tell the band to stop.

"Apparently, this is a real fire alarm, so we need everyone to evacuate the auditorium."

I shrugged and went out to the north parking lot, and I met up with a friend, who cornered me near the bushes away from everyone.

"Can you keep a secret?"
"Uh. Sure. What?"

He showed me a metallic long pin hidden under his sleeve.

"I pulled the fire alarm!"

I laughed and told him to hide the damn thing, but at the same time, I'd laugh at him if he got caught. Well, the dumbass went off to tell all his friends that he pulled it. He never got caught, but it just sounded so dumb.

The fire alarm stopped. I told them that I was watching "Spectrum" while we walked back to the school.

"You wanna go skip your block and watch Spectrum?"
"Doesn't it cost you a ticket to get in?"
"Yeah, but they took everyone's when we went in. They won't search you for a ticket now, you can just walk right in."

He thought it was genius, and then started bragging to MORE of his friends that not only did he pull the fire alarm, that he was going to see the show for free.

That was the peak of my day yesterday. Other things included taking care of my English Final and realizing I'm only 3 classes away from being done with High School.

Just got back from training, 30 minutes on the treadmill. My friend, whos been training for years now, and is now training me, said that was really good for someone like me. So we worked out, went to GNC and got a couple protein shakes, overall it was a great first day. Bad thing is my left food hurts so bad, something MUST be wrong with it, I'm going to get it checked out soon..

My foot is now on top of a bag of frozen peas..

Well, there's always the starting out pains, get used to them.
Try the stairmaster on at least level 10/15 for 30 minutes.
You'll lose at least 5 pounds right there, guaranteed.

No. I'm pretty sure a stitch (or a cramp) can actually occur anywhere, it's most often abdominal.

Ibuprofen.

That's about it.

This is true. I had one on my shoulder last year.

But I'm pretty resilient and it healed the next day.

I used to get leg cramps after my soccer games and I get them when I rollerblade but they go away if you just relax. Just make sure to stretch before you do your work.

Yeah, when I used to weight train, I went one day with my friend to the gym. He told me that I should stretch before and after lifting weights.

Before that day, I used to have muscle pains the next day after lifting some weights. Ever since though, I stretch whenever I have to do ANYTHING that involves even a little muscle. I've never experienced that pain again.

Every time I work out, which is twice a week, I get horribly sore the next morning when I wake up, but it passes by the end of the day. I always work myself really hard and I have a high tolerance for pain so it doesn't bother me so much, but I'm obviously not stretching enough.

Your friend is not cool, ChaosVortex.

Yeah, but it was funny at the moment. I think he just wanted something to brag about. He's funny sometimes, but he just tries to go out of his way to do a prank or something unusual.

I was actually hoping he'd get caught so I could have a reason to call him a retard.

I'd say the funniest thing he's ever done was pull some Matrix style jump and frag someone with a bag of napkins.

Posted on: 18 May 2008, 03:46:59

Also, my day sucked. I'm trying to cure myself of a cold, and I paid for my first tank of gas.

$29.81.

It's not really cheaper. I don't think you're accounting for the difference between a gallon and a litre, and the inflation of the dollar. Even then the price changes from area to area and hour to hour.

NO WAI.

$1.20 or so per litre times 3.7 or so litres per gallon is about seventy cents more expensive per gallon. No currency difference could account for that, not recently.

And I'm lowballing the cost of gas, too.

Gas is like $3.80 or something close here. It sucks, but hey, what can you do? Yes, I'm complaining.

Anyway, I'm playing Mario Kart Wii right now.

Actually our dollar went up with inflation, and gas prices didn't go down to reflect that but instead climbed at their normal rate. In a way, the price of gas isn't that much more than it was recently since our dollar is worth more. Gas might cost more here but it's also very relative.

Whoa, exchange rate is about even right now between the US and Canada.

It's only been more by a few cents but the prices of stuff didn't really change so when we go to the U.S. it's like everything is on sale. On mother's day I drove to upstate New York and shopped all day with my mom. Bought lots of clothes C H E A P.

I went to the gym today with a buddy of mine, we worked on the legs.. I almost died after doing the leg press.. probably lack of a proper diet or something. After a few other excercises, I went on the Hack Squat machine... Holee #####.. If anybody has ever been on it before you should know it kills, it's made by Satan himself too.

Squats are worse.
Hack squat is decent, I run about 250 on it when I use it.
Though Leg press comes easy to me, I can do 1000 pounds for 10 reps for 2 sets.

Just about kills me but I can.

Today in track practice, I threw 140 feet in Javelin consistently.
Ranking me 3rd in the region for class A, and in the top 10 in the state in class A.

Okay, so, our senior class "official song" is Don't Stop Believing. It's the theme for our prom and everything, and the lyrics are in our yearbooks and whatnot, everyone thinks it's stupid.

Our original Senior Prank idea was to make a green GO sign and replace one of the Stop signs with it. However, today I thought of a great alternative. With only two days left of school for the seniors, and not one good prank so far, I'm very proud of this.

And it's a great picture, too. That's our school in the background, obviously.
