Starscream was about to bite the dust, which, incidentally, is what I want the series to do now.

That series has been over for ages...

Anyway I also remember what I was doing, I was hanging with friends and we were in Loeb or something, so we hung out until nighttime in the burbs and then when a few of us had to go home we noticed how dark it was waiting by the freeway for the bus back to the city. These are things you just don't think about until it comes up.

Yesterday:

1) Had to call in a ride because I missed the bus.
2) Had a relatively okay day at work.
3) Left early for a doctor's appointment.
4) Missed my doctor's appointment because I was waiting for my mother.

But that's okay, because:

5) I was on a mother#####ing boat.

I don't know or care who that is.

Both of those have also been over for ages but fine, I hope there's no others either.

Careful, ASR. If you keep it up, you run the risk of giving him a heartache tonight.

EDIT: I feel empty inside for having said that.

So, tomorrow I'm moving into my apartment. I hanging out one last time for the summer with the circle of friends I have back home.

I've had a slap bet going on for most of the summer with one of my friends... we always give each other so much ##### (he's fat, I'm Jewish... it's so easy!)... so the slap bet was that whoever was mean to the other one first gets slapped.

We've lasted the entire summer and it's been killing me to not make fun of him. They were intentionally making it really tempting tonight, with everyone cracking fat jokes, even the kid himself.

It was my last day with them for a while, so I said "##### IT."

And I verbally RAPED the mother#####er, knowing full-well that a slap was underway. It was so cathartic to finally just let it loose.

We got the slap on video. There's also a twist ending! Catch it on Facebook later whenever my lazy friends upload it.

UL Speed: 19.64 Mbps

Here's something speedtest.net can't tell me: why do you care?

Pretty good. That upload is unbelievable, actually. Are you sure you don't have the numbers backwards?

At school I can get upwards of 20Mbps down, but UDP packets are #####ed over with extreme prejudice. It's almost impossible to do any online play there.

I'm sure.

The thing is, not everybody in the area is moved in yet, so I'm expecting the numbers to go down later. Especially once school starts.

I'm just curious.
Right now that's basically blinding speed.

When I get to school on Sunday, I'm expecting 40down/40up.
It's crazy fast there.

ping is how many milliseconds it takes to go from your computer, to the server, and back.

Annie, that's FAST.

CV, That's plenty for almost everything.

My home connection is .7 up and .15 down.

No, dial up is .056 down.

I can download at 100KB/s.
There is a ratio of bits to bytes and an 8mb/s connection (megabits) is actually only 1 megaBYTE per second.

It's not TOO bad.

School internet is off the hook though.

wut

And I remember when I used to have dial up...oh the dark stone age days they were...

It would take me over an hour to load a game on nick.com...

Also, #####ING AWESOME PING FOR A CABLE CONNECTION. SERIOUSLY.

Whoops.

Decided "why the hell not" the other day and tried out the Zune. WHAT ON EARTH MAKES YOU LIKE IT SO MUCH JC. LIKE SERIOUSLY. The hardware is fine, but the software is even worse than itunes, and it's taken me almost a week to find the right transcoding settings to even get the silly program to SEE my mkvs and avis. AND WHY NO FILE MANAGER?!

Pretty much anything that plays music these days seems to be a piece of ##### in some category.

Honestly I hated Sony's "SonicStage" a lot more than iTunes.

And the ping is fine.
