Just a quick thing; Firefox crashed and when I went to open it again I guess I accidentally (because I don't remember doing it) hit Start A New Session instead of Restore. So I'm guess they're gone for good (which pissed me because I had stuff I needed open) but is there still a way to restore the session at this point?

Nope, sorry Mike.

I think tonight's the first time this year I hadn't have any friends over/I hadn't gone to a friend's room.

It's weird because I got work done for once. Which is good thing, I guess.

About four hours ago, I woke up to a call from my dad. One of my best friends as a kid got killed in a hit-and-run last night. I've grown apart from him in recent years, but our families have been very close since I was little and I even shared a birthday party with him. He was a genuinely good kid and this really threw me off-kilter. I always deal with loss pretty well but it definitely eats at me inside and since I found out earlier than most people I've had to let it stew in my head all morning. I can't imagine what his family is going through right now - my own mother called me crying. Honestly, I'm just venting, but I guess the cheesy thing to say would be to keep his family and friends in your thoughts.

Sorry to hear man. Best of luck to the family.

Posted on:  6 November 2009, 20:24:16

Yesterday, I went to the Volusia County fair with Annie, her parents, sister, and cousins. It was pretty fun until late at night where all the rednecks and other random people swarmed the place, made the lines to rides too long, and just turned the whole place into a maze if anything.

I'm posting this now because I was too tired from all of it last night, and I feel like a complete idiot in the first place because out of the first couple of rides we went on, there were rides that spun you around so fast, your blood rushed to your head, turned your face and stomachs around, and restricted you from getting up because of the speed of it all. I didn't feel sick, but nearly the whole night, I had a great headache and only went on slow rides, so I missed out on some other great stuff in the process.

If I just bend over, part of the headache will return, so it kinda sucks.

It was still a fun night though.

I finally saw Zombieland on Wednesday. It wasn't as good as I was expecting, but it wasn't disappointing, and there were some pretty excellent parts. It's been windy, and that makes me excited. It's been pretty good for me lately.

I'm pretty sure most of the tabs were just open to remind me of stuff but I know there was some clothes I wanted to order on there and some songs I wanted to checkout so it's a bit annoying.

Took a nap and some drugs. Pain is partially relieved.

Applied for scholarships.

Things are starting to look a little brighter over here. With that said, I don't know if I say this a lot, but I wish I was there Alec. Hope everything gets better.

Right now I'm in a heated argument with famous comedian Kyle Cease's brother, Kevin Cease! We're fighting about how I found something his brother said was incredibly obnoxious and he's making threats about how I should be careful who I mess with if I ever want to make it in this industry! It's exciting!

Supposedly I have been blacklisted from the LA comedy scene or something, according to douchebag Kevin Cease! I have burned all my bridges or whatever!

To explain, a comedian friend of mine who moved to LA and is now all buddy-buddy with Kyle Cease posted this as his Facebook satus:
"People who aren't successful love to talk bad about people who are. That way they can justify why they chose to fail." - Kyle Cease

...which I found to be an extremely obnoxious thing to say, and felt the need to comment on it. Little did I know that Kyle's brother would be there to get right on my back!

Man, I love this #####!

The best advice I can give you is to try and keep them together by doing anything you can. It might be for the best and probably won't work. But I still kick myself for not trying to do something for my situation.

Seriously, dude, I hope things get better.

Oh, and make friends with someone who works at Gamestop, you can tell them to buy a used 360 off of anyone who tries to trade it in there. It'll be 50 bucks for the core system.

My parents constantly threatened it throughout my entire life. Hell, they were threatening it to each other last time I was home, and I was only home for a weekend. They do it about once a week. I was so used to it as a kid that I actually started hoping for it just so they'd shut up. My parents REALLY don't fit together and I can't for the life of me figure out why they not only married, but stuck together for so long.

Honestly, though, I'm very glad they never divorced because that would have just complicated everything.

I wish you the best of luck, Sano, and I mean that even though I hate you.

My parents separated 3 years ago but let ##### linger on because they're both total morons. It was only after a few suicide attempts, a physical fight and a possible lawsuit that they decided to finally sign the papers.

Nothing has really changed since then.

SO YEAH! Linda is being a total patoot and being all super angry and stuff at me because I don't know why. That's not the actual reason. I just don't know why.

That is my day.

Update on the Kyle Cease crap!

Kyle Cease himself got involved and cleared everything up. He explained that I thought he meant something different than he intended, and was actually very nice about it. His brother is a huge tool, though.

I'm sorry, that is stupid.

My parents got divorced when I was ten and they're better off for it. Trying to keep two people together just for yourself is incredibly selfish and childish, especially if the fighting got to a physical point or the other areas you mentioned.

No. I am aware that some people are better off for it. But in my case it was probably best they stayed together and just went to marriage counseling, it would have worked too. But they're both pretty stupid/stubborn, so they constantly blamed each other, now they hate each others guts and I already said where that got them.

And whoever said it was just for me anyway? Mike, trust me, I know my situation better than anyone else. And I know that if it won't work then it's best to let things go, but if things are salvageable and could potentially better for everyone, it's worth the effort.

Last night some friends had a party (they don't have classes today) and I went over and decided to have about 12 shots of vodka.

On a mostly empty stomach.

Vodka is gross.
I feel like crap.
I felt a little better after I threw up though, wishing I could puke again.
