So, I have to choose my General Education Elective classes.

We get choices like Understanding Human Sexuality to A Sense of Humour.

I don't know how the second one is supposed to last 15 weeks.

Welcome back, Jackkkk... e....?

Enjoy.
They've estimated 30cm by tomorrow, you should know.

Grass is turning white...

Maaan, I didn't buy a winter jacket yet...

It's not like it'll stick. Everyone's acting like "Oh it's the first foot of snow!", like it's actually the start of the whole snow hooplah. It'll get a bit warm and melt within days, I'm sure. Then it'll snow again and melt later and repeat for a while. And it will suck ass because you'll won't know how to dress for a while. But in the end there will be assloads of snow.

My picture of me in the snow last year was not an exaggeration. There where snowbanks that were literally 5 feet high.

I was gonna' make fun of Mike for using the metric system but then I got high.

You can try to make fun of me for being better all you want, but nothing you say can affect me because I'm wearing an Iron Man mask right now.

My roommate and I just COMPLETLEY rearranged our room this afternoon to make room for a couch we MIGHT be getting this weekend.

It's drastically rearranged, and feels weird right now, but I like it.

The biggest problem is that until we buy a longer ethernet cord, my computer can't get internet from its normal resting place on my desk.

Anyway, going to a Halloween party tonight, and a friend from home is coming up to stay for part of the weekend.

I've worn the Shaun costume for the second half of today to some major compliments. Will be wearing it to the party tonight.

Should be a fun weekend.

Didn't too much today again, except I just saw The Toxic Avenger for the first time.

And the last time, but it was still hilarious.
Beginning of the movie makes me rage though.

It's a terrible B movie, but it's B on purpose, and I love that.

Spent the day rushing all over the city (OK, just this one place) to get some Halloween and Gaming shopping done.

Friend bought Rock Band 2. Couldn't play it when we get back to Residence because I had to rush to the bus to get to Saunder's Farm.

It was very bleh. But at least I had some (other) friends who happened to come as well. And the "Scar Wars" skit was actually pretty funny.

The chain saw guy was still there, though.

Then when I got back, I washed my shoes (they were very muddy from walking around that farm) and headed for the Rock Band group to play some Rock Band. The (other) friends were there too because we're all part of this awesome circle of friends.

I've never had so many friends before... my social life has gone through the roof since I moved in (OK, a month after I moved in). I really like it.

Also, I'm pretty good at vocals in Rock Band 2, apparently. I sung Livin' on a Prayer (not the only song I sung, vocals were the only thing I did in the game) and one of the guys who wasn't in high five'd me for doing the song justice >_>.

Yeah, I just got back from that fun fest.

Just got back from a fantastic Halloween party little over a half-hour ago.

Highlights:
- almost every worthwhile person I've met so far and more was there so it great to party with all of them at once
- beautifully long game of wonderful, wonderful strip pong
- at one point, someone took my Shaun of the Dead paddle and hit someone so hard with it that it broke
- about halfway through the night, I wrapped my tie around my head like a bandana and untucked my shirt, akin to the end of Shaun of the Dead

I'm too awake to sleep yet so I might have the pictures up on Facebook tonight, which means I'll drop some of the better ones in the Show Yourselves thread.

Good Halloween's all-around, then?

I didn't do much tonight except hang out with some people, I was gonna' go to another party but I'm not feeling too hot tonight, and we have a marching band show early tomorrow.

So anyway, I hit it off pretty well with this one girl last night who recognized my costume and started talking to me about how great Shaun of the Dead is. We talked for a good chunk of time before she left with her friends, and it was nice. Hung out with her again today by chance and it was also nice. At the very least I've found a great new friend, and those are always very welcome.

Also, been playing a lot of Rock Band 2, but we only have one controller from GH3 for the 360, because I left all my Rock Band instruments at home. It's tough to share one controller.

But tomorrow my parents are stopping by for the day, and they're bringing up not only the Rock Band instruments, but a couch. Very much anticipating the couch.

My dorm room has a tile floor, but we bought a rug. Only covers about 1/4 of the room, though, and about 1/2 of the actual walking space anyway, so it's cool.

Good Halloween's all-around, then?

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! HAHAHADHSFHJASLFhsajlkfhaskjf hasd

No. I mean, mine wasn't bad but man...

For the first half of this day, I went around the city looking for the complete set of Guitar Hero World Tour. There were Rock Band 2s all over the place but NO FREAKING GHWT

Apparently, us Canadians don't have the full set. Just the normal Guitar Only one which I gave in and bought. I'll buy the other stuff when it becomes separate.

I played it for about an hour... after that I went to my friend's room. Played Rock Band 2 for several hours. I mean it, we took turns switching between 7 people to play the game. And then more people came and went and also played. God, it was fun...

At some point we went for a quick Trick-Or-Treating. I didn't have a costume but I went anyway and got candies from the RAs anyway (one of them gave us condoms which will, frankly, expire for me before I ever get to use it). Then we went back to the room and played MORE Rock Band 2.

Oh yeah, two of the people in the room are RAs. We also had alcohol bottles in the room, and they did not care even though they have to enforce the "No-Alcohol" rule. They're pretty cool.

Anyway, sometime at about 11PM, two guys started fake fighting, y'know, just to have a little fun. The smaller guy grabbed the bigger guy and then the bigger guy basically jumped to get away from the grab. And then the smaller guy fell and broke his wrist.

The guy who's pretty much the leader of the group, Jon, took him to a hospital. An hour later, he called saying that they will be three hours before they can get back. He also asked if it was possible that one of us could go to the hospital and give him one of his books that he's reading, and hanged up.

Now, he said "to the hospital." There's three hospitals in this city. We had no idea which one it was... but I decided anyway to find that hospital. Luckily another guy said he would go with me.

We took a bus to the closest hospital, about twenty minutes of driving. Took the last bus to get to it. He wasn't there. We were at the wrong hospital. Took a cab to get back.

And well... that took us two hours to do all of that. It was only five sentences but those five sentences lasted two hours.

We finally got back to residence, pissed off that we didn't go to the right hospital but at the same time didn't want to waste more time going to the other hospitals (it was 2:30AM, damn it!). Played some more Rock Band 2 with the few remaining friends and then watched Ghost Ship (which was meh... had some interesting death scenes though).

In the middle of Ghost Ship, Jon got back saying that it'll be another 2 hours before the guy who got hurt can be checked out. We explained to him that we tried to find the hospital but failed. He understood but man, he was wanted to get drunk and play Rock Band 2 but now he's volunteering to keep his friend company. He's probably still there as I type this.

So yeah, good night gone crazy gone frustrating (for me and the guy who went with me, anyway) and got meh. I actually mixed some vodka into my ice tea because frankly, I needed it. Didn't taste too half bad, but I won't be doing that again unless something else crazy happens.

So... not the best Halloween night I had. But definitely the most rememberable.

Mine didn't start out great either. I was in a great deal of pain from morning to 2 O'clock due to my back. It was like I went from 19 to 90 overnight.

I finally took some pain reliever, and it started to get better afterwards, and I went to a carnival dealio with Annie to volunteer and it was one heck of a night.

My back is "sorta back", but it's not as bad. I should just take some more medicine before I go to work.

On Thursday night I was supposed to go see a concert. This band from Japan called Monkey Majick came to Zaphod's. I was meeting people there so I got there at 7, but no one I knew was around. I waited in what I could only describe as the ONE wind tunnel anywhere in the city that night, because while it wasn't really that cold I was freezing with that windchill. Anyway a hour later (and thus a half-hour LATE) Stacey and Shannon showed up and we waited in line. Eventually I heard my name and looked back and this dude I went to high school with that I-now-dislike who dated Jess back then was with friends behind me. I did the usual feigning like for the guy but I didn't have to work hard at paying attention since we were both with other groups.

His whole group, like me, didn't have tickets. But my friends did. More people I knew showed up and stuff. It warmed up as the line got longer and people got in between the wind and I. There were like 14 other people that I was waiting to see that I never saw, because eventually (meaning an hour plus in the frozen line) one of Zaphod's guys was like "If you don't have tickets, it's sold out". Like, gr-#####ing-reat. Thanks for saying that online, or on the sign, or earlier so that I didn't waste my #####ing time. So I went home, mad. I played it cool in front my friends, obviously, and they all went in but I was pretty disappointed I didn't get to go and had to wait around for nothing. But I guess it made me look good.

On the bus home this girl I went to school with since like kindergarten was standing next to me. I blanked her. She might've blanked me too, or didn't notice me. Either way I gave no indication I noticed her. Then some people got up so I sat down. She sat down next to me. I continued to not notice her but it was weird. Normally I might've talked to her but we're not really friends or anything and I was absolutely not in the mood.

And then I came home and all that Ditz the fox business was going on.

--

Yesterday, Halloween, I was on the bus to work and I saw Sandra getting on. She's this really hot girl I know from pre-animation and she always comes to the Halloween party every year, but she's weird. I always get a huge impression she doesn't like me (And for no reason, which is something I don't understand, plus I'd know if she had a reason. I'm very real.) and since that started to just not a give a ##### about what she thinks. So I blanked her, or we blanked each other as she probably saw me too. I don't know, or care. To level with you, she's just really weird. Like nice sometimes and a total frost queen others without any indication. I'm done dealing with that.

Anyway, I worked the store all day dressed as Luke Cage, which was a very irritating costume to wear all day, so irritating I skipped meals. But people that recognized the character dug it. My boss made his costume the whole day so I did most of the work. After work, I went home showered and changed costumes to my Iron Man sort of thing. Then rushed to Sonia's party.

I should not have been driving I was so hungry but I picked up Wendy's on Merivale when I got to the west end and then ate it at the party. Too SO long to get to the party even though I went SO fast. Just had a lot to take care of in a short time. Anyway the girl I had the mutual blank with on the bus that morning was at the party. I was sure she would be but I just didn't really bother with talking to her. After I ate and stuff it was all good. Had a great night, laughs, fights, sighs, all kinds of it. Stayed over, and then Denny's this morning with people.

This sounds like I blank people on the bus all the time. Or that I don't like a lot of people. Not entirely true or untrue. Not really, I just know a LOT of people in this city, so I'm always seeing someone whether I want to or not. And then there's strangers who talk to me like they know me... But that's another tale.

And I hate that chainsaw man, Vinch.

Alright, so I was planning to go on a hellraise run with Aaron(Someguy), but I couldn't get a hold of him so I just had to blow that off. So I went to a party with a couple of friends, dressed in my last minute pseudo-costume; a devilock wearing punk fiend. Decked out with leather and chains, complete with a kickin' punk rock baseball jersey. The lock was pretty #####ty by the end of the night, but it held up a good fight.

But yeah, once I got to the party we started playing Rock Band 2, which was one of my first tries at the game. I was reppin' the bass, and when I got a 100% mark I started bragging to everybody that got a lower mark, jokingly of course(I was playing easy mode). We started filming some things, like a whole video of everybody in the one Rock Band room, everybody getting their piece in, we recorded a couple other things like me singing some tunes from Mega Man, since I'm known as the total Mega Nerd there. I got my MMZ3 game that I hadn't had for about 4 years now, my friend lost it when I let him borrow it, and just recently found it.

We went out a couple of times, to walk some friends home, on the way back to the house we dropped by our elementary school, where we sneaked in and #####ed around on the jungle gym. I went to the top and pissed down a slide, shouting ##### like "Happy Halloween #####ers!", caused some good laughs. We went back and just started to chill for a bit, the others were in the Rock Band room while a couple of the others including me went to the next room and just talked, had some good laughs. I must've drilled through my friends mini fridge, drank about 50% of all the pop there. We went out a couple more times, and then I decided to call a quits and head home. Over all great #####ing day.

Lots of fun yesterday.

I was attacked by a wild Midterm which I didn't know about, but it was Computing so I was good to go. If it had been calculus I'd probably have failed :S

Halloween party, in a movie title or two: Hot Fuzz, Aliens.

Today I got the first 2000 words of my epic done, and there's another 2000 coming as soon as I get back from work.

I blank people all the time, when I'm at work and I see people I know. Mostly because I'm just shy like that. Usually it's a young woman named Sandra, actually, but not for the same reason. Seeing her is like reliving those past moments. It makes me reflect on myself, and how I feel about myself. She's actually such a great person but you know, it happens.

Yeah, a lot of the time I'm just avoiding a volition-less conversation. When I see someone I'm just kind of friends with on the bus, we're both stuck in this bullet that's moving through the city until one of our stops, so there's no way out of the conversation if it dries up. And I really am so tired of the same "So where do you go now? What program are you in?" dialogues.

Sick man.
That's gross.

I've never heard the term "blank" before and I had to read on before I knew what Mike meant.

I generally NEVER do that. If I see someone I know, no matter who they are or what the circumstances, I will call out their name and run up to them. Small talk bores me so I keep the conversation interesting but you really have to hang around me to know exactly what I mean.
