And? I don't see how that doesn't agree with my post.

Everyone doesn't get them off and they're not on the calendar. But everyone has one so they still make cards for it because it's a business. But they aren't considered holidays.

Only if you don't have any friends or family or whatever, because, usually, for birthdays, people get together, sorta like thanksgiving.
And it's also not a holiday.

My bitterness over V-Day is NOT about seeing other people together, it's more about realizing I'm being a #####ing coward about my feelings.

Just go man up and do it, then. Seriously. Not to sound harsh, but complaining about something that nothing is stopping you from doing is a bit weak in my book.

I mean, okay, I know it's not that easy. Sorry. But still.

Today, went with Annie to Orlando for some place called Medieval Times.

I don't consider it the first date because it was more of a thing for her birthday, but it was still cool. You watched a tournament while eating food with your hands. There's no silverware.

Our team was blue. You had Blue, Red, Yellow, Green, Black & White, and Yellow & Red because apparently, they don't know the existence of other colors there.

Red was the champion.

Pretty neat day.

Today I... today I found my inner muse once more.

I'M GOING TO WRITE A SCREENPLAY TODAY

EVERYONE

EVERYONE

I'M GOING TO

JUST WATCH

For the record, I actually did start this and it's going to be amazing. It's a highly fictionalized account of my experiences in life. The pitch I gave myself was "A story about the first 18 years of my life, focusing only on the 18th year, and squishing all the good bits from before then into it."

I'm going to portray the alterna-me as infinitely cooler than I really am, but I'll be toying with that. I'll be playing the alterna-me main character. I'm considering naming the main character Alec Smart.

I'm borrowing heavily from the postmodern 4th-Wall-breaking narration style of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. But I'll be taking it several steps further.

Another way of describing the premise is... in recent years, I've tried to create my own personality. Build myself into a character. A specific kind, you know, the laid-back, cool, witty, wise-cracking guy that is tragically overflawed. I've always wanted to be a real-life version of that. This movie is my own experiences and lessons and messages AMPLIFIED and FUNNELED through this unreal version of myself.

These are just ideas I'm throwing out there. I've only just written an extremely rough few pages of the introductory narration. I have about a million scenes visualized and tons of things that I want to cover, but I actually want to take this really seriously.

And of course, I'm jinxing myself by talking about it and getting too excited before I really start. It's going to be a really big project. I'll see how it works out. Usually I get over-ambitious. The only way to make sure it gets done is to drag other people into the project. That's what I'm going to do tomorrow.

Some friends and I tried to get in to the theaters to watch Friday the 13th.. but those boat #####ers didn't let us in because I wasn't 18! I have the mind and physique of a god! Why the hell would they need ID? So that blew over, so instead we let the girls we were rolling with take us to a Karaoke place.. which turned out to be great fun. They sung some crap, and Don't stop believing. Someguy and I sung some Snoop Doggs and some RATM's, didn't work out too well..

Though I did manage to pull of an amazing Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls if I do say so myself, yeah, that's right. And then we finished it with a YMCA. Good day. Long day. I tired.

Um um um you only have to be 17 to see an R-Rated movie methinks.

Unless Canada is just even dumber than I'd previously assumed. And I'd made some mean assumptions.

No one LIKES the dark.

18A means you have to be 18. It's the same as NC-17 in the US. But it's weird because 14A only means you have to be ACCOMPANIED by someone over 14.

18A means you have to be accompanied by someone 18 or over, at least in my region.

14A means if you're under 14, you have to be with someone 18 or over.

R means you can't get in unless you're 18 or over. Though I have yet to see an R-rated movie playing in our Cineplex for as long as I've worked there.

Banana bread is awesome. But you know what I haven't had in a while? French toast. I like-a me some of that.

He knows it's a meme. He's just confused as to why people continue to use it.

As for my test, it was almost like a scene out of a movie. My alarm was set for PM instead of AM. I wake up and realize what time it is. I hop out of bed and put on some clothes, grab a pencil and run out the door. There were literally zero thoughts running through my head except "HURRY HURRY HURRY I'M SUPPOSED TO BE THERE RIIIIIGHT NOOOOW."

Needless to say...

...well, it's needless to say.
