Yeah I have that on my mp3 player and listen to it all the time. "Flagpole Sitta", I mean. I've been known to play that Smash Mouth CD, "Astrolounge", at work though.

I've heard the term Art Rock applied to Tool, Muse, The Steve Miller Band, Sgt. Peppers Era Beatles, The Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, Genesis, The Beach Boys, Dredg, and Merzbow.

There's no way they're all the same genre.

The song "Cat Scratch Fever" follows me like a curse on the radio. Some kid was even playing the song on Guitar Hero the moment I walked into Gamestop.

I am listening to Michael Nyman's "The Piano Concerto" which is all the music from the movie "The Piano" (Which i might add, I've never seen!). It's lovely and the piece is about 36 minutes long. Some parts just sound like noise but I love it.

BUT YOU GUYS HAVE NO CLASS D8<

Nat King Cole is awesome.

Anyway I bought two albums the other day.

  • The new Disturbed album, Indestructible, which I've barely listened to and only on crappy headphones but it was sounding pretty good. The title track (which is also the first track) is awesome.

  • And I bought The Old Prince by Shad K, which I'm listening to right now. And it's great. I know you've never heard of him so I'll explain that Shad K does really good smart rap and is really dope. My favourite song of his so far is "Brother (Watching)" which is also on this CD, so check that out if you can but I doubt it'll be easy to hear online, and it took me a while to find this CD in stores too.


    There's about 800 more CDs I want to buy...
