ASR, the song with the CBS line by NaS is called "Sly Fox" and is very. Very. Wicked.

I know it's wicked. It was good enough to get me interested.

I listened to Hero today via Youtube on my brother's Mac that has sound, and loved it. Kickass stuff. I'll download the album when I get back to my own computer.

My mom decided to wake me up today because NaS was on the Wendy Williams Show. So I watched it, begrudgingly.

But the interview was pretty wicked, and he preformed "Hero" with a full on band (drums, electric guitar, trumpet, and more) and DJ Green Lantern. It was cool, he actually left words out of one verse in the performance that weren't even explicit but they were the actual rhymes so it was cool, you had to know the song to know what the words/rhymes where.

Also, I want his jacket very very badly.

"Zombie Graveyard Party!" by Be Your Own Pet

I love this, and I'm very very tired of zombie stuff. It's.. A romantic comedy... with zombies? OK, like;

I'm dead babe,
As dead as can be.
Its all because a zombie ate me.
You loved me when I was alive,
And now you see that I'm on the other side.
I still wanna go out with you,
But there's something that you gotta do.
Give your life up and over to me,
Come on youll see how happy we could be!

I've gotta tell you this before you die;
Life is brutal and lame, so let me eat your brain!
If you really love me like you say you do,
You'll go through the pain, and now let me eat your brain!

Life is lame, so let me eat your brain!
Life is lame, so let me eat your brain!
Life is lame, so let me eat your brain!
Life is lame, so let me eat your...

We could party, party in a graveyard tonight!
Don't you wanna party, party in a graveyard tonight?
We could party, party in a graveyard tonight!
Don't you wanna party, party in a graveyard tonight?

Life is lame, so let me eat your brain!
Life is lame, so let me eat your brain!
Life is lame, so let me eat your brain!
Life is lame, so let me eat your BRAIN!

We could party, party in a graveyard tonight!
Don't you wanna party, party in a graveyard tonight?
We could party, party in a graveyard tonight!
Don't you wanna party, party in a graveyard tonight? (iiiiiiiiiiggggght!)

And it's a punk-y song...

I just love it.

It will never have been a long enough while since I listened to any Floyd.

That kind of self indulgent crap might be my most loathed brand of entertainment.

Well, that and monotone, drawling rap.

I watched Across the Universe again the other night, and even though the covers are great and all, they're just not the same, and even though I love the movie, it just really pisses me off because as soon as it's over, I want to listen to my endless Beatles collection on my iPod... which I didn't have. I've been at sea with my family on our boat and I completely forgot it.

It drove me crazy, and I had Beatles songs stuck in my head the entire time, but with the wrong people singing.

It'll get old.

I liked Hypnotize better than Mezmerize, though I'm not an actual fan (my friend let me import them both to iTunes when he got them). Mezmerize had some good tracks though, but Hypnotize was overall better. Really they should have just released one good album instead of two alright albums that have CD jackets that fit together nicely.

Been listenin' to a lot of Radiohead, Cake, White Stripes lately. Also, does anyone else here enjoy the sound of the Shiny Toy Guns? Because they came out with a new single on their Myspace and it sounds nothing like their old stuff. I was sad. The female vocalist (Carah) left and got replaced by a girl who tried out for the Pussy Cat Dolls and failed. Her voice just doesn't match their style at all. It sounds like she is trying to rape you via speakers. It's bad.

I can't ever listen to Cake since someone I dislike has ruined them. Not that I can ever remember listening to Cake in the first place, or care to.

I like that one song by Shiny Toy Guns, "Le Disko", but I'm completely tired of it now.

Love The White Stripes.

Not very specific, but today I figured out that I draw best when listening to rap and worst when listening to The Beatles. And when writing ideas for comics, it's vice versa.

I've never even heard any of his other songs. But that one... man. It's something.

I was told all his songs sound just like that one, though, and he sings them the same way... which is something I wouldn't be able to stand.

I've really never bothered to listen to his music beyond a cover I've already forgotten, but I find his current personality revolting.

I would hope that his music is less bland and tragic as One Republic, which wouldn't be hard, but it probably isn't.
