Some bits it's really odd, but the parts it layers are sweet, and it follows that time signature for the whole song, which is good. A tempo change would f*** it up. It's abnormally catchy, I'm just happy my second guess on a time was perfect. (See what i did there?)

Here it is again, because it was the last post on the last page and nobody'll see it

We also tried it with "What A Wonderful World" but it didn't work at all. It's so aggravating to listen to. I can't describe it.

I usually hate them too but I first heard it live and it's just good, so yeah. Actually it was the first time I ever heard the song and I find it's like 700% better than the original. It's basically the original version to me.

Edit: Oh yes, I mean the original German and english "translation" versions, which are both pretty lame.

I just bought "The Bedlam In Goliath", the newest album from The Mars Volta. I haven't listened to all of it yet but it's good so far. Different album from the song I was listening to earlier, totally different sound.
