Shouldn't your whole library be only songs you like?  I've never thought to myself, "Oh gosh this song sucks. LET'S PUT IT ON MY IPOD!!!!"

No, it's not that.

I have a lot of stand-up comedy on my iPod.

So, if I'm driving and don't want to mess with choosing songs, I don't want to be in a music mood when all of a sudden Katt Williams comes on yelling about hustliing or Demetri Martin pops in talking about oranges.

Also, I'm a completionist so I like having full albums on there even if I don't like all the songs.

I know what you mean.
There's something about putting on a whole album if you have it.
Especially if a friend sees the album and wanst to listen to some song you don't have.

I tend to not get scrambled eggs anywhere, because it seems that if I don't make them myself they are almost always too runny. So I get my eggs over-hard instead. But yeah, a bit of maple syrup is somehow great with egg.

Great CD.

Most of the music has been sounds pretty simple though.  That's because they're planning on playing all of their music live.  So it's aight.  My favorite off the album is either "Love Bomb" or "Killjoy." There's a couple of other goodies but those are the ones that stood out more.

I give it a turkey hand with out the head.

Been thinking of getting that. But I don't know.

How's the explicit content? I want to know if I can play it at work.

I've heard "Everybody Nose" live and it wasn't that great. Video was better.

Currently listening to Queen: Don't Stop Me Now, but I've been on a binge with the Ren & Stimpy sound track lately.

Lovely, lovely classical musics.

Haven't listened to an actual album of anything in quite some time, though.

I finally got some of the Radiohead CDs that I was missing. So now the only one I'm missing is Kid A. But I must say, Radiohead has to be one of the best bands ever. They are made of pure epic goodness.

Cool, I'll check it out.

I caught my assistant manager skipping the entirety of a Disturbed album I love on Thursday. I don't know if he knows I caught him, I don't really care. I wasn't really mad, but he could just say he doesn't like it (I think he does though, he just didn't want it on at that time, because I know he's played it when I wasn't working), I just don't like sneakiness unless I'M doing it.

So I took the CD home. Not a big deal or anything but I know one girl doesn't like them and the manager only plays Billboard Top 100 songs of whatever year in the last century he picks at the start of the day (I got to pick on tuesday and I picked 1972 randomly. That was a good year, musically.), so if the CD is not gonna get play there then it's useless and at least I can listen to it in my car or whatever here if my iPod dies.

So I need a CD to replace it at work, though I have already put loads there, the number now seems just wrong. I might get the The Ting Tings' new album, or Grand: PM's if I can ever #####ing find it.

Listening to: "Sing For The Moment" by Eminem.

I finally gave in and decided Minutes to Midnight has won me over. It's been a long struggle to actually like that album just because of how different it was than their old stuff, but I've really acquired a taste for it now and I view it very differently now than I did when I first listened to it.
Kudos, Linkin Park.

And thanks to Abe's other radio, I've gotten into Techn9ne among other things.

Tech N9ne is great.

I'm just hoping 'Killer' is a return to form for him; His last outing was incredibly disappointing.

You mean Everready or MLK?

He needs to stop putting guests on everything, because they just seem crap next to him.

Also, Kaliko's solo record is unlistenable after the first track, despite having Twiztid on board.

I don't even consider MLK a Tech N9ne release.

That would being like saying any No Limit artist had ever really released a solo album.

Well, Everready had some great tracks, but wasn't anywhere near as good as Absolute Power on the whole.

MLK had about 2 good tracks.

I only have a couple songs from a few of his albums, nothing from MLK and maybe like A track from Absolute Power. What I've heard of Anghellic was pretty dope. I like the song Abe sent me from Everready, but that was really just a Kabosh song featuring Tech N9ne.

See, I thought the production was just fine for 'Anghellic', along with his earlier work.

'Calm Before the Storm' was badass, as was 'The Worst'

Though, to be fair, I listen to significantly more hip-hop than rap, so I tend to prefer less polish.

Not including the misguided value system that rap harbors, I think overly polished production is the largest factor that turns me off from most rap these days.

See, since he parted ways with Don Juan, I haven't liked his beats as much. There's just less... personality to them now.

I guess I don't know how else to describe it.

So, the verdict is in:

'Killer' > 'Everready'

Everrready had too many forced attempts at club hits.

Killer is back to the staccato craziness of his earlier work, while maintaining some of the growth over the last few years.

The new Immortal Technique CD is #####ing amazing.

The title track alone justifies both the five year wait, and the purchase of the album.
