What does that even mean?

That Fresh Prince video is everything I hate about the internet, and music, and annoying bitches like that.

Agreed. I watched the whole thing, don't worry not that you would but it sucked all the way.

I also hate people that think they know the lyrics but don't.
Also the long version of that theme song was the best.

I have a 14 day Zune Pass trial.
I have unlimited access to all music in the Zune marketplace, which is huge.

I need suggestions for bands to listen to.
I like Cage the Elephant, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, the White Stripes, The Who, Black Sabbath, Tenacious D, and the like.

Any suggestions?

And as I listen to the whole Flight of the Conchords discography, I realize that I don't really like the majority of their songs, while the lyrics are funny, it's not my kind of stuff.

They dabble in nearly every genre of music, so I can see if it doesn't all appeal to you.

And seriously, The Beach Boys. At least get Pet Sounds, or the greatest hits album.

YOUR DAD COULD HAVE BEEN A BEACH BOY

I don't really know much about the actual members aside from Brian Wilson and Mike Love, but a quick Wiki-scan leads me to believe your mom dated Ricky Fataar.

Consider Jethro Tull and/or King Crimson? I don't like King Crimson all that much, but they do a lot of harder-edged stuff you might like, and In the Court of the Crimson King is a classic. As for Tull, they're simply legendary.

I ended up nabbing the Boys Noize album "Power," and...eh...I wasn't really impressed.

There's really only two or three songs on "Power" that I feel lived up to the standards in "Oi Oi Oi." The rest sounded rather lackluster.

Obviously you've never played any Sunsoft or Codemasters NES games.

The things that can be done with the sound on the NES are amazing.

It's one thing to know academically what the NES can do (sunsoft PCM bass lololol) and quite another to hear an expansion-whoring track in action (some of them just sound like tracker modules)

Hahaha, there are some truly awesome games that make good use of it, but you're right; the things done now can be even crazier.  (unrelated: Check out the Japanese Castlevania III, even though they did extend the sound processing for that game).

I was listening to that feed earlier in the day; some of my favorite current chip artists were on.  Good find, man.

Uhhhhhmmm...

Brother Ali's album "Us" is in a constant loop in my car.

I got a sexy new vinyl record player from my gal for Festivus so I've been listening to a #####ton of new and old vinyl. It has been the baddest of asses. Rage Against The Machine's "The Battle of Los Angeles" on vinyl? YESSUM.

Oh yeah, I saw Gorillaz live in Montreal for the opening show of their first world tour in my absence from MMM. It was #####en' magic as expected. Anyone thinking about being jealous may now do so, and they should.

I am awaiting new Twiztid

I knew you liked ICP, so I have no reason why I was surprised you like ICP homunculi.
