Somebody already was given a promo code to place their order for the MM9 Press Kit.

We can see that it'll cost $50.

And I'd assume it will be made available very soon.

Damn...!

I just put in $30 more on my Paypal... I hope it makes it in time!

Posted on: 30 September 2008, 02:55:20

AAAaaah! How do I make account!?

Edit: After a painstaking half-hour, I finally made my account.

Now, I'm just thinking... If I "buy" one, but don't check it out, isn't it technically still reserved for me?

Because I don't know when Paypal will have my money... and I really want one of these.

As of right now, they've only told us that it will be available "soon" on the Capcom US Store.

From that image, we can tell the price will be $50.

And they said there will only be about 200 of them.

Good luck.

I know that much, but how did said person at the top get their MM9 box first?

Augh. I'm never gonna get one.

Part 6:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0lW5ZzTEKM&fmt=18

Looks similar to my run, just with less deaths.

And I had the same feelings about the Roll costume, but if you thought that was bad, watch what happens when you pay another 200 screws to buy it again.

Yes. She changes back. Yes. I know. I don't understand how that requires 200 screws.

I didn't even NOTICE the sprite change.

I quit the shop and started another level to see if maybe I'd play as Roll.

And nothing happened.

So I just let it pass, but I was confused. I figured it would do something later.

Someone here pointed out to me that it's just her costume that changes.

Bastards getting access early... I wonder if there's a one per transaction limit. If not there SHOULD be to keep #####ing scalpers from just buying several to put on ebay.

Looks like I'll have to keep checking the store 10x a day to watch.

Capcom is actually not putting those MM9 packages on sale at the store, instead they're giving away codes or something with a link to the item checkout and PMing them to Capcomunity members

It is. If they go along with this I'm going to forever believe stupidity pays off.

Scuttle##### and the rest of the ##### heads are too stupid to get this. They should pick people from the fansites, they're true blue fans.

Except for RPM, they're not allowed to get this MegaMan 9 pack.

Again, ##### YOU CAPCOM.

The thing that pisses me off the most isn't that there are only 200. I would be displeased, but at least other fans have them. What pisses me right off is that most of them are inevitably going to be snapped up from the site by jackals just to resell on ebay for exorbitant prices keeping even MORE fans away from it.

I went and downloaded the Xbox 360 demo for MM9 to try it out.

It lets you only play Concrete Man's stage, and the demo ends as soon as you're about to fight him. I noticed that for some reason, the game screen doesn't fit on my TV screen and words in menus would be off screen for some reason. It seems they edited stuff for the 360 version, now it'll display "Gamertag" above your in-game name or whatever and at the title screen it says "Press A Button" (with the A being a green 8-bit circle with an A in it) instead of "Press + Button", obviously.

So, in conclusion, it's crap. Mostly because I have to #####ing play using the control stick instead of the d-pad because the d-pad is terrible.

It's 88 MB or so... I'll assume that's the same as 66 blocks on the Wii.

Holy crap, that auction I posted is up to $300.

It was at $101 when I posted it.

I think there's a point even I would sell mine if I were to get my hands on one if I could make a $250 profit.

Yeah... it's gonna sky rocket. There's no way I'm gonna get one.

Thanks Capcom, buddy ol' pal.

I just attempted a Time Attack. I beat Magma Man's stage in 2 minutes.

I can't believe someone beat it in 1 minute and 21 seconds.

After seeing all the times I really don't want to try anymore.

I miss the top 10 in Concrete Man's stage by 10 seconds, and I was sure I went through that stage perfectly. I didn't even stop at the robo-elephants, they were dead before I crashed into them.

More news about the Retail Packages.

A lot of news, actually.

Apparently they're hidden somewhere in the Capcom store right now, overpriced until they're made publicly available.

Wow.

Just got 1:26:75 on Plug Man's stage.

The 10th place is 1:25:30, so I'm veeeeeeeerrrry close. I've got some GREAT tricks in there and I can't find any videos of Plug Man's stage so I don't know which ones people already use.

I shaved off about 4 seconds today. I'm very proud of myself.

2 new samples of the arranged soundtrack.

Magma Burning and a vocal version of the staff roll.

I can't say anything about the staff roll but I think Magma Burning sounds like crap.

Again I stand by my point: Originals > This crap.

Posted on: 3 October 2008, 11:29:54

Also. I've gotten up to the point where I can pretty much defeat every opponent with the buster save for possible Jewel Man and Plug Man.
