That doesn't even happen, man. You're overreacting at tad. It's not EVER like someone says "Oh hi, I'm new" and we go "OMG you're gay ##### you" and #####. Nobody here actually "harasses" anyone except maybe Sano. And even then he doesn't do it to randomly, I'm sure.

If someone asks "Do you like my fanfic?" and we say "No.", that's just us answering their question honestly, it's when they get pissed off and start calling people out that flaming happens. If someone types like a moron and we say "In the future, use the spell check and try to work on your grammar and sentence structure" that's not harassment at all and personally, I think it's pretty polite and shows restraint considering the ten thousand things people DO want to say in that situation instead.

 No one here SEEKS out a fight or just flames people for no reason. That ##### only ever happens here when there's misunderstandings or people can't take honest opinions.

It's not MMM's responsibility to baby every chud who's overly immature. They have Gaia Online and Neopets for that.

I'm pretty sure most of us are okay with posting in old topics. At least, I am. If someone has something decent to contribute to a conversation, old or not, that's fine with me, and I have no problem with it whatsoever in the fora that I manage.

Other people just don't like it because it seems to be an established norm when it comes to forum rules. And we all know how people on the internet like to look for reasons to jump ##### yo' mama.
