Changing your avatars.
I read down the page, I know people by my peripheral vision seeing the avatar, when they change away from what they tend to be, it screws me up.
I keep thinking ASR is Mikero, because of the gray, and the ninja.
CV has always had a sprite or something blue, now it's crazy ROB. I know that this doesn't really MEAN anything to anyone, and I probably sound like an idiot saying it.

And for me, the theme's blue, grey, black, or green, but mostly blue yesh. I just changed because I thought it was due for one.

Getting used to a new avatar for people is always a little confusing.

It's the reason why reading Abe's posts gets a little confusing for me. Despite the same colors, at some times it'll be Mega Man, and then other times it'll be a horrific screaming emo kid or something.

I'm one to talk, though. I usually change my avatar more times a month than any sane person should.
I'm already tired of this one, which I only picked to have something mildly MM related for a while.

I made a bunch when I was bored a long time back. On the regular MSN program for Mac (which I don't use) this is what comes up (completely in green with a green aura) if whoever you're talking to doesn't have a display picture, or when the display pic is loading.

I like it because it's a touch or two different than the "MSN guy" you see on MSN on Windows. For no reason.

It could be an obsession, but it could also be for bragging rights. I'm assuming John is REALLY good at Guitar Hero.

Example: For me, that's probably Yu-Gi-Oh! with the former, Mario Kart DS on the latter.

If you guys didn't notice Mike's avatar is a parody of a Spider-Man comic cover.
It's like the cover off of one of The Amazing Spider-Man, like somewhere in the upper 400s, I think it was right around the whole Sins of the Past thing. Ya know, that whole thing about the Green Goblin having two kids?
