Hey, Kamina totally out awesomes the green ranger, if not matching him. He hijacked his giant robot (from a beast man no less) kicked the piss out of 2 other robots until HIS legs blew up, then punched the same robots in falcon punch manner, and finished it off by throwing his younger brothers mini robot right through their heads.

Beyond the range of the main ship's power transfer, it has a limited battery, but the machine is easily powerful enough to destroy the thing in such a short time.

On the other hand, Kamina's Gurren Lagann runs on Spiral Energy (or so I read, I've only watched four episodes, the show is OK). Spiral Energy is the virulent life force existent in all evolving beings that causes them to advance and evolve, and after a certain point of evolution can be used to induce advancement in non-liking things as well. It's a dangerous power, but it can far outmatch the Aestevalis.

By the sound of it, Spiral Energy sounds gay. However, by the way they implemented it, it's actually just DNA.

They also compare it to the spirals of drills and junk. I thought it was creative.
