I find this relevant because it is a poll on the Everybody Votes Channel.
I choose pie due to it's basic construction of filling inside of crust.

Posting picture to help your argument is encouraged.

Either way, it's delicious.
I gave you two votes because everybody should put delicious as well as their idea.

Cheesecake is full of lies, you think it's full of mozarella cheese or cheddar or something the first time you hear about it. Then you see its some white creamy crap with some strawberries on top. Seriously, WTF, total disappointment.

The poll caught me off gaurd as I almost put cake without thinking when I saw it and had to doubletake.

But thanks for noticing.  ::)

If cheesecake was made with normal cheese it would make a much better chip dip than a desert.

There's different types of cheesecake. Some of them only have a pastry base, so how can they be a pie?

Pizza is only a pastry base as well.

I mean a flat pastry base with no sides, which is required for pie.

So, cake pretty much wins.
As I stole this off the Everybody Votes Channel I figured I'd inform people that the results there were also cake, about 58% to 42%.
BUT, if you have a Wii in the USA, check out the regional information, there are about 6 states that more often than not call it pie.

I just checked on my like a half hour ago and the results were more like 80% for cake. I checked regional and there's not a single region in Canada that calls it a pie.

Welcome to the planet Earth, Nova. Here you will find a wide variety of stupidity and ignorance. To your left, I present a vast number of people who believe the holocaust didn't exist. If you would now look to your right, you will see crowds of these morons who actually believe the U.S. found weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

We.

Are.

SURROUNDED.

You forgot the U.N.'s Anti-Racism Conferences that are filled with countries criticising Israel and the Jewish causing Israels, the U.S., and Canada to pull out of them.

People would say it's pie by it's composition.
Cake= bready, baked whole in a pan.
Pie= Some sort of crust, cooked in a pan, then filling is added. Alternately baked with the filling in it.

Cheesecake is NOT cake, seriously, just it's name implies, it's a sweet dairy based filling in a graham cracker crust.

I will admit that some cheesecakes are actually a bready form of that filling, and technically fall into the cake catagory, I've made it before, yet conventional cheescake is still more pie than cake, though it's really niether.

Cheesecake is just a name.

Well, to be perfectly fair, no. Israel should not have been forced into Pakistan's territory after WWII. They just kinda said "Here you go, Jews. LOL", and pissed off a whole lot of the Middle East.

But anyhow, it's cake.

Considering Israel has been doing some pretty messed up things (But, there's no Country that you CAN'T say that about... Except those #####ing Swiss). And if Israel hadn't been there in the first place, perhaps the Middle East wouldn't be half the war zone it seems to be today.

Though maybe if people stopped being selfish assholes, we could colonize the moon, or terraform Mars.

But, cheesecake is cake.

You're right, Lunche. But it's Palestine, not Pakistan, hahaha.
There is a loooong history of massacres in Palestine carried out by Israel's forces against poor unarmed civilians, youth, elders, women and children. The last one of those massacres occurred last week, it's so horrible.

John's actually correct, upon further investigation. I'm just ignorant and believed the word.

In this case, the cheesecake, is indeed a lie. It is A PIE.

The English Language is retarded. Cheesecake is a type of pie, while cow pie isn't.

So, basically, Canada is more retarded than the US, as 80% called it cake.

Logic?

I don't want to get political here, and I'm not disagreeing with you point, it's just NOT what I'm talking about. Which is quite simply, full on racism at the UN anti-racism conferences. They aren't going to achieve their goal, if they don't cowboy up and work on it.

It is a cake. If it was a pie it would be cheesepie. Which sounds unbelievably disgusting.

They're mostly delicious, with a side-category of cake.

Pie has a crust that goes all the way around the sides, whereas the "crust" on a cheesecake simply serves as a supporting layer.

Plus, Cheesecake.
