Oh, and today was one of the last days this summer that I'd be visiting my old high school, and I had to check the stop sign we "vandalized" at the end of the year. It wasn't really vandalizing, since it was tape, and the security guard helped us reach the higher parts.

But what rocks is that it's been up there ALL summer, and will likely remain for a while. And the sun burned and dulled the paint around it a bit so when they remove the tape, there will be burned-in pink letters for years to come and that's #####ing awesome.

It won't be as meaningful for you guys, because it was really specific to our senior class. Our class song was "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey, and our prom was themed after that.
So, yeah.

Shouldn't stop you, though. I've seen some other versions of it, notably in a Facebook bumper sticker but done with spray paint.

It was really nice that I got off my ass and did it because everyone was talking about all these great senior pranks but nobody EVER did ANYTHING. My little stop-sign thing was just supposed to be a small joke, but since nobody else did anything, it turned into the meeting place when we all got out of school on the last day. People were taking pictures in front of it for hours.

I was proud.

Oh, I wasn't trying to say don't do it, I was just pointing out why we did it. Feel free.

The original idea was to steal paint over an old stop sign we had and make it into a GO sign, and replace it overnight. Didn't work out.
