Edge's point is completely valid (and it's probably the most likely thing). You have to consider that people new to MegaMan don't know the difference between Star Force or Legends or anything. All they see it that it says "Megaman" on it.

This is why you have people looking at whatever-member-originally-told-this-story playing Command Mission and thinking they're looking at MegaMan, Proto Man, and Bass when they're actually looking at X, Zero, and Axl (respectively, but disrespectively on that last guy). It's NORMAL.

Aside from the fact that these avatars are confusing, even though his is upside down, my point is also still valid. Any numbskull purchasing Mega Man 9 and then SEEING Mega Man Star Force 3 before purchasing can tell there is a bit of a difference there. What you're describing is ignorance. What I'm describing is stupidity.

No, I just expect people who purchase MM9 or any regular Mega Man fan to know the difference. I DO however, know people who look at me playing as Proto Man on MMPU and they ask, "Where's his sword!?"

They're most likely ignorant people who don't play Mega Man.

I thought my brother got me ZXA for that exact reason.

Around Christmas last year I found a copy of ZXA sitting on the cabinet thing on the other side of the north wall of my room. It hasn't been opened. And NO ONE knows who bought it. I originally thought it was a Christmas present or something for me because of Mega Man and I figured lol, that's something my brother WOULD get me. But no one's touched it. At all. And to this day it is still sitting there completely unopened.

... actually Advent is considerably WORSE than ZX.  It added even MORE useless morphing bull##### to further slow down gameplay.  And Axl.  And Ashe looks like a dog comapred to Aile.  TO THE MAULING TENT WITH YOU!

Too bad that's actually what the game needed, but the gap between the two isn't far off when I say that. They're practically still the same game in quality, and that is what's sad.

No, ZX is way better. ZXA was just bull#####.

I mean, ZX was entertaining enough for me to replay at least 4-5 times. I beat the game as Grey once, and stopped playing. A while later I tried playing as Ashe, and got really bored of it after half-way. Then about a year later I finally beat it as Ashe and quit again.

I don't plan on playing it again.

That being said though, I don't have any intentions of ever playing either ZX game again.

And really, the only reason I replayed it was because after being FORCED to play as Model ZX twice, you finally get to keep Model X for the whole game, which strangely was enough to get me to play it again.

But yeah, no more.
