Anyone remember that flash game that was similar to MegaMan? The one with all the ASCII? Yeah, remember how hard that was? Well, I don't think its nearly as hard as this game:

Syobon Action

I beat it with -235 lives... no seriously, I died that many times. Plus the two lives you start with. Yes, it may seem like the hardest game you'll ever play and hell, even impossible to beat... but I DID beat it. And it's only four levels, folks.

All I have to say is that the designer of this game is either very cruel or very imaginative, especially what you need to do to beat the last level.

I only worked out that Z is enter and makes you jump, T resets and O is suicide. But HOW do I move?
Also, I created "The random flash game"thread so that topics like this one went there... But who cares anyways?

I pressed every key on the keyboard and nothing happened. It still said "Prece Enter Key"

Did that multiple times, no dice. Tried every key, nothing.

Wind and I agree, it's not Mac compatable.
Which doesn't make any sense.

Considering it's just flash, yeah? Very weird.

Hmm.. Don't think so. I can only use three keys. One is jump, the other is reset and the other is a suicide.

It's possible that the game is retarded.

The game's Java, not Flash.

< is move left, ^ is jump (or z), > is move right. O indeed suicides.

That should work. Also;

Oh mah god, this game pisses me off soo much. But yeah you have to memorize a lot of the traps that just pop out of no where, it's a lot harder than owatta.

I need to rename my thread to "the random little online game thread!"
And it still won't work.
I can jump. I can reset. And I can lose lives alone. But nothing else. Do I have to have caps lock or scroll lock or...Anything? Not likely but...

Well java, flash, balogna. The fact is it's made in generic coding. I got it working it just took a while. It's frustrating but I don't know if I like it or not yet, but I keep finding new ways to die and like one time I'll hit a block and then another time I'll try and there will be some hidden block under it so I can't. That's cool.

Anyway I beat the first level, I think I'll like this game. Block that creates infinite death mushrooms, menacing cloud of death, and that fun near the flag pole = lawltime. Funny that the cat thing has a boob when you jump.

As far as the first level goes Owata is harder, and not fun.

The second level of this has me laughing.

Edit: Third level has some funny stuff at the start. I had a nice "WTF how am I in the clouds now?" moment.

The third and fourth levels will have you rolling on the floor in anger. I spent about, a half an hour on both levels one and two combined, a half an hour on level three, and fourty five minutes on level four.

Beating the last level is really tricky.

We're nerds, our parties involve heavy drinking and Wii/Xbox playing. We even played some Order of the Stick board game, and a couple of hours of DnD.

No worries. I've done the drinking + gaming thing once or twice. And I know what Order of the Stick because of my work.

Okay. The end of the third level is troublesome.

What you gotta do is move to the left a bit to dodge those flying yellow things, and then you got to use Turtle-Chan to somehow defeat Throw-Chan... think. Bad memory.

I would be able to defeat the throwman easily, the turleman knocks him if you kick it down there. I've only ever been able to dog the yellow beams by using the platform underneath the turtleman. All attempts to knock the shell into motion from underneath and make the jump across in time that the shell will kill the throwman have failed.

Randomly one time the yellow things didn't kill me, that's how I won. >_>

The third level isn't actually hard or long, it's just the ending that's wasting lives like Tic Tacs.
