You know at this point I don't know if I even have a single favorite track.  The overall selection of music is so good and I've listened to it for so many years, nothing stands out to me off the top of my head.

I regularly listen to the soundtracks of Mega Man 2 through 6 while washing dishes. Not sure why, but Mega Man 6 seems to be my favorite.

Wily Stage 1 from MegaMan 2.

Over all these years, I don't think that pick ever really changed for me.

Mega Man 3 stays underrated. Shadow Man's stage is such a great jam, his boss music is absurdly eerie, and every time Break Man shows up you get that "We're in for some #####!" musical cue. Even the stage select theme is great.

I actually think 4's ost is the underrated one.  It's really well done with virtually no bad tracks.

Anything from X1, X8, ##### even that fan game Mega Man X Corrupted is great.  My favorite classic theme is probably Solar Man or Galaxy Man.

I don't care how many times Nibbles mauls me or how much you bludgeon me with your tomato stick.  I liked X8's OST.

Also should have mentioned X2 and X4 also.

Mega Man 8 had some good tunes (Search Man, Astro Man, Wily Stage 1 to name a few). Mega Man 2, then the fifth installment.... in no particular order.

X1 and X3 (SNES version) both top the list for best music scores in the X franchise. Second would tie between X4 and X5, since both of those games had some memorable soundtracks. ( ie. Slash Beast stage in X4, Zero Virus stages in X5).

Then Legends 2.....

Can't say much about Battle Network, Zero, or that other series... Haven't spent an hour on any of those games combined.

It's difficult to choose a single track. The music is one of the best elements about the Mega Man series.

I don't know what I would consider my favorite, but my favorite Mega Man soundtracks include MM1-4, X1 and X4, and MMBN2. Those games had the most memorable soundtracks for me.

The first 3 Battle Network games had some excellent music.  There are extremely few tracks from Zero that I like.  Legends music is amazing, but I swear almost every track is 30 seconds long and loops forever.

I personally prefer X vs Zero, but Cannon Ball is pretty good too.
