This is the exact argument we were having with ASR.

This is how the Preventers roll, if you don't like it, we'll prevent your face.

They why aren't they gone?

What you guys failed to understand on the last page and probably on this one, is that green is for plants. Plants. SOMETIMES the "Earth" power in whatever entails growing and manipulating plants, and sometimes it doesn't. I'm pretty sure JC's doesn't, and only works for like rocks and dirt and stuff. Rocks and dirt and stuff kind of "Earth" powers are never represented sanely by green. They are brown or like a slate.

There isn't really a green Preventer, really, unless there's someone which plant powers (and being a plant doesn't count, Snare) that we didn't know about.

Wind is like yellow or orange or some kind of light teal.

In Captain Planet however, Kwame (Earth) had an affinity for plant life, and his ring was green. Gi (Water) had blue. Wheeler (Fire) had red. Ma-Ti (Heart) had like orange or brown or some stupid thing and LINKA (WIND) had purple or a darker blue for some reason.

Yellow or orange isn't a wind color, the wind is supposed to be represented by a cooler color, like blue or green. Warm colors don't do the job.

I wasn't going for a green the first time, more of an emerald or some kind of green/turquoise. Dark green doesn't suit wind, I agree, a darker orange/yellow for earth also, to represent the ground and sand and #####.

Purple has no business in the Preventers. Sano can be purple.

What you guys failed to understand on the last page and probably on this one, is that green is for plants. Plants.

Obviously. But we're not assigning colors to Preventers based on who they are, we're assigning colors to the Preventers based on what the represent.

I think the head's the perfect size because it actually makes the body look a lot shorter than it is. It looks short. Like me in a suit with a slightly bigger head. And an odd expression. I love it. Facebook default pic. For now.

When did I say this or that element WAS this or that colour, and not that it was just represented by whatever colour?

Obviously water is clear. So is air. But heart, as in love as in emotion as in feeling, is an abstract concept and is even less visible than something that's there whether it's clear or not. It's not even something you can really imagine seeing.

As a rule I put food colouring into all water I come across so it looks like blood and pee and green apple drink.

In spooky voodoo magic (read also: Aura colours, specifically in Reike), Green represents the heart and lungs, as well as healing, change and an affinity for people and animals.

Unless it's murky or dark, in which case it represents jealousy, resentment, victimization, insecurity, lack of self-esteem, lack of understanding personal responsibility, and sensitivity to perceived criticism.

In short, I'm not this has to do with wind or air, guys, unless you count that green things (plants) use wind to reproduce.

Also, wind causes electricity, and that's always yellow.

Yeah, but that's just voodoo.

Colors have been used to represent a lot of things, and it changes depending on who, when, what, where and how you ask.

So I just stick with this:

Yellow - Electromagnetic force
Violet - Strong/Weak Nuclear force
White - Photonic radiation (doesn't behave like EM, despite being exactly that)
Black - Gravitation
Red - Plasma
Green - Gas
Blue - Liquid
Orange - Solid

Which I use for magic, and I just use my imagination to turn the physics explanation into stupid sounding normal magic elements and there you go. In order: Lightning, Cold (that's a long explanation), Light, Dark, Fire, Wind, Water, Earth.

So I guess my point is that Wind has been using the exact colors I would have, and so I never thought twice about his choices.

I also really like them blue art pencils :-)

I actually like the running drawing the best. I really like the style, though. It's sort of like how I might draw him if I didn't always make him really really skinny.

I timed myself. I can run (see: crawl) through the local one (entrance to slide exit) in less than 15 seconds. The second place time was 40 seconds.

I'm just that good.

So, Mike went and made himself have a Preventers getup, I thought I'd do the reverse for WIND. I've been thinking of this for a bit, and now we have WIND; the Aero-Ninja variant. The colors have been swapped with the sort of opposites of Mike's, and even thought I look like I have more swag on, I have less in some areas (the scarf)

The colors for Mike's costume have been replaced with the following.

Black = White
White = Black/Dark Blue
Blue = Green
Grey = Still grey

NINJUH-WINDUH!

Now if I could convince Mike to give me some secret ninja training..

Too Mikero-y. The chest W is cool, but easy so I'm not giving you much credit there.

Quality drawing, but it's really WAY too Mikero-y to be Wind.

Interesting idea that just gave me another idea that would be cool. I agree with ASR a bit, it could have a lot more you in it. I have ideas but I can't really say it without drawing it and I'm to work on a character rotation for my final so I can't do it now.

I don't actually have black on my costume, though.

Yeah, I was thinking of adding the fur collared jacket and some new leg designs.I like the scarf and prefer it to stay the way it is, I see it as a recognizable symbol like the different varieties of Preventer jackets.

I don't actually have black on my costume, though.

Black enough.
