So while in the classic series megaman would always best Wily, Bass never was truly destroyed, and when we travel to the future, X eventually gives up and retires, or becomes a cyber elf, while Zero takes a leave of absence but still comes back to save the day. I think since Zero died with his boots on, fighting for a cause he believed in, Wily made the better robot, instead of the blue bomber who decided to give up.

X is still the most powerful robot to have been built, even in the scenario where MMZ happens.
He's a transcendent being comparable to the Buddha.

Zero's not even in the body Wily built for him, or operating under the program Wily made for him.
He hasn't been using that program since before X1.

So no, Wily didn't really build the Zero that's doing any of this, and he's not even all that awesome anyway.

tldr; MMZ sucks, go away

But I agree and it's true. Light does seem to outdo Wily with works, even though some of his inventions may be... a bit stupid *cough*rushcoil*cough*.
