PUMA has just released these little bad-boys; the 917 Lo Mega's, actually inspired by Mega Man. They're available in the classic Metalic blue and cyan, or black.

"A fantastic material and color update inspired by Mega Man, a video game first released by Capcom in 1987. Whether you're familiar with the character or not, this synthetic leather material looks and feels like vinyl, giving the upper a shiny, retro-futuristic look. The addition of the perforated underlays, painted eyelets, & video game inspired pixelated emboss on the toe bumper complete this awesome look."



They're a good 65 bucks, which is a good price. I might actually snag a pair, just for the helluvit.

I only have one favorite shoe.
The Nike Free 7.0 running shoe.

The blue ones are too shiny to wear in public but if the black ones look nice I might check them out.

You couldn't wear these in public without people assuming you're a circus act. The black ones look nice though, which I would probably wear.

13EEE (US) is not easy to come by for junk like this.

No big loss, though; they don't look comfortable and I bet they get pretty hot in warm weather.

I'm outside like 2-4 hours a day depending on how much bike I'm riding.
I'm getting easily over 6 hours of bicycle riding in each week.

Also, the light is really white and my web cam stinks.

Actually, I just realized something.

What would make me want to buy these shoes is if they made the Mega Man "badip" noise whenever I jumped and landed (and specifically that, because hearing that when walking could be annoying).

Although, that sounds dorkish.
