Picked up Henry Hatsworth.  This is GOTY material.  My god it's simply brilliant.  Some of the best voice acting on the DS EVER.  Puzzle element is great, platforming/adventure element is well designed and plays fantastic with a steady (but unforgiving) difficulty curve.

Someone mentioned that game to me and I thought they were making it up based on the title alone.

I needed more personally. I still didn't see how the puzzle and adventure system worked.

GOOD SHOW!

I saw this game in Gamestop before, but I dismissed it by what I assumed was just one of those cheap puzzle games. Looks pretty good.

You can switch between the top screen (action) to the bottom screen (puzzle) with the X button.  Time freezes in the Action screen while you work puzzles. While in the Action screen the puzzle screen slowly moves up.  If enemy blocks reach the top, they come back into the action screen and attack you.

It has a rather unforgiving difficulty curve towards the end.  I honestly thought World 4 was harder than World 5 myself.  Though the clock tower stage in World 5 could give any Castlevania clock tower stage a run for it's money.

I'm currently playing between LEGO Indiana Jones and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.

All of you know how the LEGO games play, so I won't go into detail.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra's gameplay is this: a crappy Contra knock-off mixed with a crappy version of the Gears of War cover system, with a #####ty camera system to top it off. I'm sure this game is a blast to play with another person, but unfortunately that other person has to be sitting next to you - Live play is not enabled. I'd suggest picking it up if you can find it for $25-30 brand-new; it's helluva lot better than the Transformers 2 game.

I've actually never played a LEGO video game, expecting them to suck and all. Not being one to assume but also being one to think about how he spends his money at a glance. Maybe I'd like them more if I paid them any attention.

I dug Lego Batman and Lego Star Wars, but I completely skipped over Lego Indy.
Indy just didn't have as many cool characters.

I don't think anything will ever touch Star Wars though. The idea of being able to manipulate multiple objects at once with your mind alone is a premise that lends itself incredibly well to Legos.
It's just not as neat when your guy bends over and throws the pieces.

LEGO Indy is okay, but they ramped up the difficulty a bit, and the partner A.I. seems to be dumber in this one. The thing that I don't like about it was that the LEGO Star Wars games, sure, they had some killing in there, but it was a lot of puzzles and building while being able to act out scenes. In LEGO Indy, it is never a fair fight (a swarm of Nazis will kick your ass a couple of time before you defeat them all), and you have to shoot them with a gun or whip them a few times. I dunno, it's weird - for some reason it feels like LEGO was actually promoting violence with this one, and I don't really dig it.

One thing that I thought was funny was that to have Nazis in the game, they can't come out and say it or give them all swaztikas on their clothing - so they all have blonde hair and blue eyes.

God I don't even want to put the card in.

But I have a cool customized mugshot thing that I randomly put a lot of energy into because it's easy to put in an effort when you're really limited. YOU'D WANT THAT IN YOUR PROFILE.

I forgot, my USB connector doesn't work anymore anyway.

You know that thing always heated up ridiculously whenever I used it. Damn thing probably melted. It's really lame that the DSi doesn't offer backwards compatibility for internet access, it would have been so easy to do. Any smart programmer would have the DSi's working connection appear as an "access point" under the network settings interface of any older game. Then you just select it and bam it works. But no, they didn't bother.

Well, I beat Star Force.

Does anyone else think Geo hallucinated his friends and dad there at the end when he deleted Andromeda?

Anyway, I'm contemplating whether if I should do the extra stuff to get a shiny "C" in my backlog or not.

I downloaded just about every demo on XBL.
Batman: Arkham Asylum is fun, and I REALLY appreciate the effort put into the surround sound.

Shadow Complex is really cool too.
Mirror's Edge doesn't seem like my kind of game though.

That Batman game really does sound good from what I hear, and Mirror's Edge was one of those games that you expected to be the bomb with so much potential, but falls short.

It has it's shortcomings, but overall it's a damn fun game.

Mark Hamill is dead-on through the whole thing.

It wasn't a terribly long game, but it was still quite enjoyable.

I'm a bit sad that we didn't get more of The Riddler than we did, but at this point that just seems like nitpicking.
