Well, compared with Mel's other comedies (AKA everything else he's ever done), Spaceballs is above average, but not his best.

SpaceBalls is classic comedy, like Young Frankenstein.

I only seen the first half hour of Blazing Saddles, and it's pretty humorous.

Ghostbusters

Strange Brew just inching out Space Balls as Moranas' best performance.
