Well fine then, I'm just going to wreck all the little nooblets with my skills as an engineer. And soldier. and Spy. and Heavy. The rest I'm just okay with.

9 classes in the game.
All have certain weapons, roles, and techniques.

Scouts run fast, double jump, have a baseball bat and a shotgun.  Good for breaching defenses.
Pyros have a flamethrower which can very easily kill/just about kill a large group of people.
Soldiers have a rocket launcher, which isn't overpowered, and allows for rocket jumps (shoot your feet to go REALLY high).

Those 3 are offense.

Defense is the
Heavy: Slow moving, lots of health, and a minigun. Great for holding people off.
Demoman: grenade launcher and also has sticky motion sensors.  Good for protecting a single path.
Engineer: Builds teleports, dispensers (of health and ammo) and sentry guns. Good for making a stand in an area.

Support is the
Medic: Syringe gun for fighting, but mostly using his healing gun to replenish everyone else's health.
Sniper: Duh. Also has a knife and a pistol (I think).
Spy: One of the hardest characters to use, as he can become invisible, take on the appearance of a member of the other team, sap the energy from other teams buildings (whatever the engineer has made), and basically just infiltrate defenses.

All characters have a melee weapon, and some type of support weapon besides their main.
The scout might just have a shotgun and baseball bat though, not sure.

For instance, the Engineer has a shotgun, as does the soldier and the heavy (I think).
The heavy also uses his fists for melee.

It's a fairly complex game for a first person shooter.

I love being an engineer.  You can upgrade the sentries to have 2 miniguns and a quad rocket launcher.

I love being an engineer.

I once got a turret on top of a building in a way that it couldn't just be shot at, and it's is very hard to get near enough to it without dying. Getting on top of the building is a different story too, as I had to use a teleporter to get up there after five minutes of trying.

The turret stayed up there the entire match. :>

I tend to play Sniper, Soldier or Medic, with a healthy dose of Pyro just to be annoying.

Definitely hilarious to play Medic in 2v2 Arena matches though, especially since unlike CS or COD I've never really gotten the hang of the actual combat of this game

I don't have disdain for TF2, I just don't care about it at all, and I really don't need you to think I'm cool. I have enough people in my REAL life do that.

I really don't see how it's enjoyable either.
It looks like a pretty homo shirt attempting to represent a pretty non-homo band.
It's not official merchandise, right?

Right.

Rage Against the Machine is a band, foo'.

That's why I don't like the shirt. I love the band.

I really dislike that shirt.

'Cause y'stink. Ppppbbbffffttt.

No, 'cause it craps on the band.

Also because it's using the name of the band as a term. Which makes it one of those slogan shirts I can't stand like "^ The Man v The Legend" or "Here I am. What are your other two wishes?" or "That's what she said!" or "I'd hit that" with a picture of a couple cards (six and five, so really you should double down).

It's along the lines of the shirts that just steal the quotes unfunny people say ALL. THE. TIME. (and don't even get me started on that) from actually funny things. For instance shirts like "I'm on a boat", "Ain't no party like my nana's tea party", "The pen is mightier", "Shake 'N' Bake (That just happened!)", "What the hell is an aluminum falcon?" or "I'm kind of a big deal".

And those go along with the shirts dumb girls wear that say things like "Princess" in glitter. It's the same assosity, in my book.

I mercilessly call these d-bag shirts.

Oh! I keep forgetting to mention that we don't have that Iron Man shirt you wanted. There's a Hulk one like though..... Yeah didn't think so.

You might still check our Toronto store. I'm almost 100% certain that some of them rolled through our store, which means the Snail in T-dot had twice as much since they just neglect to send us stuff MOST of the time. Yes, MOST of the time. Not even close to exaggerating.

I'm okay with the shirt deal as long as it's clever. I'm the same way with "princess" and "Daddy's little girl" shirts. Possibly quoting from someone else, but those just might as well read, "HEY, LOOK AT ME, I'M A SNOB!"

At the anime convention last October (I think), I was tempted to buy a shirt that said "I'd hit that!". It had a coin block on it too.

I still wanna try writing something on some of their crap and see if it ever gets to you (Snail Mail *snrrt*). But if it's as slow as you say it is it'd probably be faster to wait 'til I come to Ottawa.

"I'd hit that" with a picture of a couple cards (six and five, so really you should double down).

Haha.

Just making it clear that I was laughing at Mike's double-down comment, not the shirt design.

Anyway, I have some stuff to say on the topic of slogan shirt designs.

As a movie/TV fan, I always see a bunch of shirts that I'd like to buy because it might be a Flight of the Conchords song line or a Shaun of the Dead quote, but I'd never actually buy them because those are douchey shirts.
My bigger urge is to design my OWN Conchords or Shaun of the Dead shirt that actually looks cool and doesn't scream "I bought this shirt online through a Facebook ad just because I like this particular facet of pop culture!"

I have been meaning to design a whole batch of green shirts for a while (since they must be green) that have cool designs of things I like, but I've still yet to get around to it.

Basically, I DO want to wear pop culture, but not in the faggy way, and I want them to be original and stylish.

Exactly.

I'm also not really a fan of words on shirts in place of symbols. It's a better shirt if it's funny without the little catch phrase underneath. I saw one shirt online that was a Venn diagram, one set had all the consonants, the smaller set had a, e, i, o, and u, and then y was in the intersection. I thought that was pretty clever and it didn't need "And sometimes Y!" in old timey cursive to tell me why it was clever.

I really dislike that shirt.

But, yeah. I don't care.

I have no issue with the shirt without the words and I never cared about the graphic either way, it's the combo of graphic and words. So I was only talking about that one gay t-shirt next to the OK t-shirt.
