I have another one of those with Mega Man, but the dentist one is better. I also loved the Futurama one, the TMNT one isn't great, but it's definitely worth posting.

I like the TMNT one but I don't like the Futurama one.

That's pretty much what Mike said but yeah. The picture seems very well done and worth saving, whereas the Futurama one had a good effort put in but just pales in comparison.

It's also redundant to put "FUTURAMA" at the top in big letters. Part of the idea of a parody is that people should know what your parody is based upon without you having to tell them. But that's only one thing about it that I can point out and explain.

EDIT: It's too bad that Leo's sword was cut off, because I think I could have surrounded it with white and made a decent desktop like that.

I should also note that the most badass story with the Ninja Turtles I've ever seen was in a Tales Of The TMNT comic book where they were a LOT more like Turtles, the Shredder was a more mystic villain, and everything had to do with magic and stuff.

And the turtles had to fight ninjas in the snow but because they're cold-blooded they were really slow and tired from the weather and so one of them (I think it was Donatello) got his hand chopped off and was going to die and the other turtles, having been raised as one since they were little, couldn't separate themselves from it and kept saying things like "Are we dead?" and "We've never been three. We don't know how to be three."

It was pretty wicked.

That's the big one though. Why on earth would they put The Naruto in with them? Screw The Naruto.

Reverse eyes Spider-Man and really #####ty Iron Man aren't part of the Justice League either, but I see your point. And that Batman clearly just has a sticker for a logo, and it's sliding down. And The Hulk... along with other Naruto characters is on the package. And Superman who is actually IN the Justice League is on the package but has no figure. AND... There's just so much wrong, never mind.

The cover (badass).

http://www.ninjaturtles.com/comics/books/souls-winter.htm

I think it's Leo or Don and Raph, I forget (you tell more by their markings), and the other two are on the back cover.

That's the collection I have, that has three issues of the story and a few short stories (one with a regular turtle crossing a road going like "I am the universe. I am Leviathan" or something, it was good). It's not a really great collection 'cause it's hard to follow the story, so if it's collected elsewhere (it probably is) I'd check that out.

That's pretty unique.

I don't collect comics, though.

Speaking of comics, by dad owns the first printed issue of The Amazing Spider-Man with Obama in it.

Yeah, that story was awful.
And people bought it up like they bought up Captain America #25.

I highly doubt either will be worth anything in a few years. The Obama one has more staying power, but barely.

I'll take the challenge (as if it IS a challenge!). But I'm switching it up.

Mike doesn't have his ninja get up, because covering this expression with a mask doesn't do it justice. Besides, we know he's a ninja already, and Mike's in the foreground.

Take it.

Mike, you're SUCH an asshole.

It's just, I'd want to give the man something. He deserves credit. But if he's really homeless, I'd rather buy him food.

I have a real respect for people that can make me laugh, so if I hadn't seen that image a million times (the original one was a black guy, anyway, and worded differently, so this guy's just a copycat)... well, if I was walking down the street and saw that sign for the first time, I'd totally give the guy money. No doubt in my mind that I would.

"Well, no... but yeah."

Stop it. I'll kill you.

I think he wrote a really early draft of the script and his name stayed attached, something like that.

As for what Wind said, I guess Alan Moore distances himself from all the movie adaptations of his work. He won't even watch them.

And Sano, Watchmen is actually pretty awesome so shut your facehole. Not sure if the movie'll be good or not, though.

I was supposed to see it at midnight tonight but I have to wait 'till Friday night now.
