I know several people here play it so I thought we should have a topic.

I was kinda repelled by the fact that the main protagonist wasn't phoenix in the new Apollo Justice game but I ended up enjoying the game a lot and the characters as well. I've played the last three Phoenix Wright games as well so I can say i'm addicted to the series now.

I beat the first two games but the third just seemed to get repetitive. I stopped halfway at the second trial.

I played the fourth game as well, but I just wanted to conclude the first trial. I may continue on but I really have no motavation to finish it.

The first game will forever remain the best, though. The first tiral in that game feels so nostalgic even though it was only a year ago since I played it.

4 is weak compared to the other 3.  It's not a bad game by any means, but they got VERY sloppy in the writing.  The last case is the exact opposite of epic and really symbolizes everything the 4th game did wrong.  The cast was pretty solid overall, save for your clients, all of which (save Vera) were absolutely AWFUL.  I've never wanted to lose a trial just to see them fry so much.  And while I liked the cast pretty well, Klavier is the worst prosecutor by far.  He has no dynamic with Apollo like ANY of Phoenix's prosecutors did.  He basically skipped all his development and went right to being "I'm only interested in the truth" right off the bat, and having no self serving motives (Edgeworth) or grudge against the Defence (Franzisca, Godot) he lacked any real depth or presence.

Still, 4 sets up some very good groundwork for 5, which will hopefully address all the issues 4 had and bring the series back up to epic status.

When I get cash and time, I'll pick up the second one.

I just need to be reminded which one is the second one...

The last case is very excellent, very original and mind blowing.

Though, I still like the nostalgic feeling I get when playing PW1 better. Plus, the final case in that game (not the extra final case) was pretty mind blowing at the time too.

I found the last case the most annoying. It was more obvious than the rest and it was just a headache, really. There was a LOT of that case where you didn't actually learn anything new about the case and it was just you covering your ass.

Case 1-4 and 1-5 are the most epic.  Case 3-5 is epic, but only if you've played all 3 games, but it will make your brain melt into a runny puddle of omg conniption.

Definitely play the first game before you play the 3rd.

Famitsu revealed that the next Ace Attorney game will actually be an Ace Prosecutor game: Starring Edgeworth.

Can't find the link now, but I believe my sources.

I read that rumor.  Gyukuten Saiben has always been about the defence attorneys though.  I don't doubt that Capcom might be DOING  a spin off game focusing on the Prosecution, but I highly doubt it will actually be GS5, as Apollo should be the main character now.

Still, looking forward to playing the other side, especially if it stars who we all know it must if you're a prosecutor.  (Hint: he's the most popular character in the entire series).

In actual Law it's HIGHLY common that the defendant is actually the one who committed the crime. Which is what weirds me out about Ace Attorney making all prosecutors be about just getting someone to pay for the crime whether they did it or not and stupid jargon like that.

I want this game.  And I now want a new Ace Attorney game with Phoenix that uses the old school Sierra style movement system that this appears to be utilizing.

That's pretty cool, but don't all Ace Attorney games come out in Japan like WAY before they do here? I remember that the Apollo Creed (a little 80's humour for you guys) game was like on the way when Justice For All came out. So is there another Apollo game in Japan?

Sadly, yes.  But I'm keeping myself in a bomb shelter for this one.  Outside basic game info because given how well AA sells over here, there's no way they won't be bringing it over.

Well I say toughen up dandelion, because there's plenty you can do and I'm gonna school you! Now read and learn!

(telephone rings)
ASR: Hello?
???: Hi I'm a completely bad game can you buy me?
ASR: Sure I'll just--

OK! What did he do wrong? Did he A) Subscribe to bad video game service, did he B) Give out his credit card information to game retail, or did he C) Purchase a bad gameamednmeamdsa? If you said C you're on the right track! Startin' to feel more empowered? Good! But don't get too cocky daffodil because what would you do in this next more difficult situation? READ!

Kian: Wow, I can't wait to buy a game on the internet of this computer that is right in front of me.
???: Welcome to a website, just click on the game you want.
Kian: OOH! A new Final Fantasy!
???: Great! Now enter your money and time into this franchise.
Kian: Why not? It's--

Did ya catch it that time? Argh, it's like they never learn--But they dooooooo! The answer once again was C (ding!). If you got it right both times you're up to to two points but don't get too high and mighty petunia head, because this next one's a dooosiiieee....

(knock knock knock)
Mike-O: I wonder who that could be! Hello!
???: Hi! I'm with EB Games, no package today just wanted to confirm that this is where we send all the bad games to Officer Modecai Mike-O! :-D
Mike-O: Yes it is!
???: Well can we charge that to your credit card? :-D
Mike-O: Here, take it!
???: Thank you! Good-bye! :-D
Mike-O: Good-bye! ... OHH! And if you have any PS3 games in the truck I'll take those to--

I got all three things wrong. A trifecta! if you said A, B, or C or A, B, and C or any of the above or below you're really getting the point! Never subscribe to bad video game service, never give out your credit card information to game retail, and never purchase a bad gameamednmeamdsa. Don't even think of doing it! If you do;

1. Grab some scissors.
2. Cut up your brain.
3. Shove it in a shredder.
4. Put each piece in a separate paper bag.
5. Deposit it in as many trash cans as you can.
6. Make sure it's picked up between the hours of 7:00am and 12:00pm.
7. Follow the garbage man to the dump site.
8. Watch it as it's all trashed and burned.
9. Throw the ashes into the stratosphere and
10. Everything will be fine.
GOOD JOB!

Well I hope you learned a little something today, I know I did because I-Feel-Great! And remember; Don't be the victim of bad games, the developers don't deserve the points! GET IT? GOOD!

(BAD GAMES: The developers don't deserve the points.)

Whatever he is, his hair actually seems natural. Appollo's is like the front of NovaMan's helmet. It's far too stiff, although they're similar. They're not exactly the same.
