You can't go wrong with Gunstar Heroes, the Marios, Donkey Kong Country...

Getting N64 games is always fun too, since they get high-res'd.

Same. If I did, it would Ocarina of Time.

Sano and I are the few here that actually LIKE Sin and Punishment.

My friends and I are currently going through all the Donkey Kong Country games. We finished the first and second one so far, waiting for the third to come out.

I wanted to get Ocarina of Time to do my yearly one sitting run, but I always just shrugged and got another game instead.

Also, my first VC game was Legend of Zelda for the NES.

And that's about it for me.

So I'm leaning towards Gunstar Heroes now, but still undecided.
If ANYBODY thinks there is a better game, say so in the next few hours.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2.

Then again, that's my favourite Sega Genesis game.

Nah, don't get any Sonic games.

Just get Sonic Mega Collection for the cube. Same thing, only 20 bucks, more games. :D

I suggest Super Mario 3.

Sonic 3 is only good when you combine it with Sonic & Knuckles.

My favorite is Sonic 2 for some reason. Although I do love Sonic 3 & Knuckles too...

I read on a site, that Super Mario RPG was in consideration for the virtual console.

I haven't seen it, but that's all I really really want on my Wii. There are some games already up that I'd like to play, but I'd have to read the list.

EDIT: Oh yes, and the original Smash Bros. I was a fool and sold my copy.

Why play the original when you can play teh Melee?

Although there are a few things here and there that are only in the original... like BOARD THE PLATFORMS... I hope it's back in Brawl.

There's something about the original that Melee just doesn't have.

Maybe it's this feeling.

I remember it when I was little. I've always wanted a Mario fighting game. When Mario made that kick in the commercial, I knew exactly what it was.

I love that ad.
So much.

Also, Sonic and Knuckles was the best idea for a game ever.
I played it nonstop for months. If they add Sonic and Knuckles to the VC, and allow it to integrate with Sonic 2+3 (not sure if it worked with 1), I'll get all the sonic games no quaestions asked.

Also, after the most recent update, there is space for another channel in the 'Wii Channels' data management area, so expect another channel soon.
MAYBE a Brawl demo!? (psh, I wish).

It only worked for Sonic 2 and 3. Sonic 1 didn't allow you to Spin Dash so that's probably why it didn't work.

That's not why.

It's because giving Knuckles his abilities in Sonic 1 had some sort of glitch or something, like gliding into or onto a conveyor belt froze the game or something...

Besides, people have "made" Sonic 1 have the spindash ability, I don't see why SEGA wouldn't have been able to back in 1994. Although now it's impossible to do I think.

It was once speculated, when the games just got released, that if you finished ALL of the bonus stages when using Sonic 1 with S&K, you could unlock it.

They also gave an estimate of how long it would take to get there.. I thought it was about 4 months. NON-STOP.

OK, I've got 4,500 4,000 about 2000 points. Anyone suggest a game for me?

I'm thinking about Sin & Punishment and Star Fox 64, but I'm unsure. Other titles on my mind are...

  • Metroid (Never played it)
  • The Legend of Zelda (Recently downloaded)
  • Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link (Never played it. Will borrow the game when available, not buy)
  • Kirby's Adventure (Never played it)
  • Super Ghouls 'n' Ghosts (Never played it)
  • F-Zero X (Never played it)
  • Mario Kart 64 (To play with friends)
  • Castlevania (Never played any of them)
  • Punch Out! (Never played it)

There's also the Donkey Kong Country games, but I've already played and beat all three.

DO NOT buy Zelda 2. It would be better to pay to come kick you in the head. I'm not even joking. I think the rest should be fine but I'm not sure on some.

Zelda 2's not bad if you're looking for a challenge.

I wouldn't recommend Super Ghoul's and Ghosts, though. That's TOO much challenge.

If you have some friends I'd definitely go with Mario Kart 64. Punch Out's pretty fun too, but you have to memorize a lot of things.

Zelda 2 is horrible. It's the worst Zelda game I've ever played. I'm not afraid of a challenge but a game that barely even functions correctly is something else.

Probably. It's not that the originality was bad, it just wasn't implemented correctly. And seriously, random battles in a Zelda game? No thankzz!

Yeah, the side scrolling thing doesn't suit Zelda very much. It's the same for many series that go overhead to side scrolling, like YS III.

Still fun, though. And the dungeon music is awesome.

Sonic 3 & Knuckles ftw. Most epic Sonic game ever. I use a program to run it on my cellphone. BEST way to to pass boring lectures with hypnotizing professors.
