Yeah, I want to get some new games for the PC... but my computer is so damn outdated I think I'd enjoy it more on the 360... like Oblivion.

My cousin got me de Blob on Wii for Christmas. It's really fun, and the look is very pretty. They should do a TV show/movie with these graphics.

Should it be based on the game?

I kept seeing that and thinking it looked cool. Is that the one where you paint the city or whatever? It sounded fun.

Yeah it is.

Should it be based on the game?

No. I just meant with a similar look. I don't think the story would translate to TV at all.

I might check it out. Sounds like a fun little diversion game I can just pick up and play whenever.

I downloaded it as well a year ago, but the lack of a classic controller makes it difficult to play.

*Loves the classic controller.*

I think for Xmas when I get 5000 wii points I should get more games.  What do you all suggest.

I have:

All 5 Strong Bad games.
Megaman 1-3 and Megaman 9
Donkey Kong Country 1-2
Kirby 64.

It's been my "I'm Going To Download That As Soon As I Get Some More Wii Points" game for a long time now. I think it's 1,000 points.

And it looks soooo great.

I have the PC version and the soundtrack is installed with the game so I can bring those epic tunes around with me anywhere I want. I wish they'd used a higher bitrate, though. Oh well.

Everyone should try the demo for free, at least. It ought to blow your mind.

Now that I know it's for PC....

Posted on: December 24, 2008, 10:05:07 PM

Balls, $20 for the PC version?

I'd rather have it on the Wii for 5 less.

Posted on: December 24, 2008, 10:05:38 PM

I'm playing the demo, and it's a fun game, but eh.

Posted on: December 24, 2008, 10:52:11 PM

Beat world One.

That last level was tricky, but my hardest time was the Tower of Goo.
It was hard to make a tower that didn't collapse while still using as little goo as possible.

The bridge was easy, as I was already use to collapsing things, I just built down onto the cliff a bit and built at a 30 degree angle. Snap, a few quick goo placements and bam.

Did Mario call YOU, personally, to tell you to pick up your copy of Mario Galaxy when it came out?

No?

He called me!

It was awesome!

Too bad I never actually went to grab my copy.

Also, Commissioner Gordon. He called me too.

Got the demo. I like it.
Since I'm not buying it, and they won't sell it around here, I'll just juice it up as much as I can. I got an OCD on "chain". It's the easiest to get, I think.
Edit: Also on the first two.

Well, that would certainly explain a lot.

You wouldn't get to appreciate the sheer amount of creativity offered in the game by standing at a little booth at a Wal-Mart, now would you?

LIKE I MADE A LEVEL WITH BOUNCY MUSHROOMS. I made the bouncy mushrooms myself cause I have talent.

SO AMAZING.

Still trying to beat the last level of the first world. It's hard.

The music IS great.

The demo ends with that level so here:
[spoiler]
You don't have to take all of the goo up the hatch. As long as you take some it's alright.
Once you get up there, the eyes are like ballons, for you to float hiiiigh...

I got like 4 OCDs only on the demo. And I know how to get another one...
The ones I have are the first three levels and Chain, and I figured out how to get the one on Ivy towers...

I got 3 in chapter 4.

Ease of OCDs:
Time based=easy.
Move based=can be easy or hard.
Goo Ball based= can be really easy or the most annoyingly hard, as each one would have to be perfectly placed.

I will always hate the level "Tower of Goo."
It always freaking collapses on me....

I skipped it. I'll solve it sometime. I managed not to make it collapse, but then I used too much goo. I only had 22 left. Goal's 25...

And to get OCD is some ungodly number.

BUT, the good way to build an effective goo tower is to build a wise base, then 3 pillars off of it. Build the middle pillar about as high as you can without it falling and then connect the two side pillars. You save a bunch of goo and keep a lot of rigidity.

Very helpful at the World of Goo corporation (over 300 gooballs), and some of the later levels.

Chapter 3. Upper shaft.
Almost the end of me.  Came to me in a dream about gooballs actually.
I love green gooballs. They are SO versatile.

In WofGCorp. I hate having all the gooballs when the tower is small, it messes a lot. Also, It's lame how black goo can only have two connections...

I tried to finish Mirror's Edge. The damn game was so fun at first and now it's just dragging on and on, and I very much hate it at this point.

I'm on the last chapter. I'd have beat it by now but problem is it keeps freezing after the very long climbing part. Like, it took me a half an hour to climb the damn thing on my first try and then it froze. No problem, I'll load the game up and start at the last checkpoint.

Only problem is, the last checkpoint is before the annoyingly long climb.

I tried three times. It freezes in the exact same spot every time.

Disc isn't even scratched... arrgh... I'm just letting the PS3 cool down now, but I doubt its overheating because it freezes at the exact same spot...
