They announced a BN Collection during the Nintendo Direct Mini. From the small amount of footage it seems like some text and such are updated visually. So far only announced for Switch but probably will be for the other consoles and PC as well.

Famitsu is doing a questionnaire for English speaking fans of Mega Man, and some of the answers will show up on the magazine.

Not 8-bit, but 2.5D.

Inti Creates and Inafune are making a new game that isn't Mighty No. 9, and it's being released as a downloadable title this summer on the 3DS.
