MegaMan Series / Battle Network Series / Re: Which Battle Network Game is Best? (Poll)

Yeah, because the "am i rite?!/1" with the ProtoMan smiley was completely serious.
It was a jest, I was not typing it going "Hey, I'm going to be really clever and funny". I never meant for it to be something that you would roll around laughing to. It was simply a nod at current events.

Did I say home console? I don't think so.
Release it on the next gen portable system. I wonder if the DS could handle it? Maybe not even as a collection, but if they ported each individual game to it maybe it could work. The graphic capabilities would be similar. I really really doubt it will happen though. Another thing though, could Capcom even put it onto a DS? Or would they have to put it on PSP since the originals were for Playstation?

Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Soda vs. Pop

Stemming off of both Kum and Go and one of the other threads around here, what do you guys call it? I call it pop because thats what I grew up around, but it seems like people in the south call it Soda more often. I have no clue, but I'm curious to see the results.

MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Is there going to be any new Megaman X Games???
|
on: 25 September 2008, 15:34:13

I doubt X gets to go back to 2D. They've already taken him to 3D and people will think its odd for him to go back. I personally would love it, but I doubt it would fly. With Classic they could do it because they stayed in 2D, and then going down in bit level wasn't that big of a deal. But with X, he's had like 3 recent games in 3D, so he's prolly stuck there now.

X has some tough competition though on this next round. He's already won the first bracket, him and Mudkip advance. But then they'll be up against Link and Mario. So he might get killed off then. I think that Classic will prolly make it the farthest, while Zero got tons of votes last year, I think that MM9 will boost Classic a lot.

Same old stuff as all the years previous. Still a waste of time, but I saw something interesting. In the brackets they have 3 (that I saw at least) Megaman characters. X, Zero and Classic. Could this mean that people are actually still remembering their roots and not all of the new crap that has come out? I guess that is a little bit heartening that they didn't throw in ZX or Starforce. Just thought I'd share.

Lately I haven't had time to play any games, but I've played a bit of Spore and Animal Crossing. I need to hook up my PS2 again. I feel the urge to play some Anniversay collections in celebration of MM9.

I actually ate at Sonic the other day. Their burgers are pretty awesome, but their slushies are their best point. Onion rings weren't half bad either.

I was disappointed when they dethroned Pluto as a planet. There has always been nine. Eight just doesn't sound right. What they should've done is named Pluto's moon a binary planet. That woulda been cool. Then we would've had 10. ^.^

You do not spell effort with a C. I'm sorry, you're going to have to repeat the third grade.
But I already did that >.> This is America after all. You can pretty much buy a high school diploma. Our schools are so terrible, I'm going to end up graduating with 12 hours of college credit and like 56 high school credits. I only needed 42 credits to graduate. Its really sad. (And yet still there are people that fail that x.x)

I never really understood the timeline in Classic. But as of MM 9 is it like this?
Protoman dissapeared, presumably dead.
Bass is around chillin.
Dou went back to space.
And then all the other robot masters are "dead".
And Wily is still alive with the new robot masters but hasn't built Zero yet.
And Light is still around with the whole crew.

Maybe the extra legs weigh it down XD
Yea, the creator doesn't make sense how the stats don't stack up. Thats the way it should've been.

I love the name and logo. But they should work on the sound quality more. I knew the $9 ones weren't gonna be spectacular, but I even hate the type of cord it has. It gets tangled into this coiled mess all the time and no amount of straightening can fix it. It's really really frustrating. And then the sound is pretty bad (sounds really tinny). But perhaps their higher priced ones are better, wouldn't want to chance it though.

Yea so far the only stage that I've spent ample amounts of time in is the space stage. The other ones kinda force you to move on, so even if you stay, there's no benefit. Which is not cool. The creators are for sure the best part of the game though.

I invested in some $25 Sony earbuds. No complaints. On Amazon they have a pair called "J-Buds" for $20 and they are excellent. I had to replace them though cause I wore them out. Great sound though. I also own a pair of Kaoss DJ headphones that I use with my turntables and guitar. And then another pair of Sony over the ear phones which are pretty nice. Oh, never, ever, buy Skullcandy. They're terrible. Worst $9 ever.

The customization is mind blowing. Of course its only as deep as you want it to be but I think you could pretty much make whatever you wanted. You could spend hours perfecting a house, or you could just use a template. Its pretty cool like that. I haven't gone quite as deep as a few hours on one piece, but I've spent a lot of time in the creature creator. The amount of parts, how they can be manipulated, resized, grow, be painted in a unlimited amount of colors... It's crazy.
And yes, Spore for the DS is nothing compared to this. Its a really really cheap knock-off.

Yea they said that even at full power (which will be achieced in about a year they said) the worst possible situation that could occur would be the beams going off and blowing up part of the collider. But when it goes off no one is in the tunnel (for obvious reasons) and so no one would have a chance of being hurt. But of course all of this is in theory. While it may the theories of brilliant people, I guess there still is a chance stuff could go wrong. We are after all messing with stuff we have little to no experience with.
