451  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: The Original Megaman Anime on: 1 June 2008, 22:05:35
What do you mean, "FINALLY someone who understands"?

We've been talking about it and acknowledging it throughout this whole thread already.

We pointed out that it isn't anime, it's just a generic American Saturday-Morning-Cartoon.

Ugh. When I typed in 'Wish Upon a Star Megaman' on YouTube, not knowing I had watched it before, and watched it, I thought it was some sort of older, full-fledged anime, one which you guys were talking about. I didn't think you understood the one I was thinking about.
452  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: The Original Megaman Anime on: 1 June 2008, 21:47:13
I know the one you mean. The American cartoon. I can't actually stomach watching that one, it's almost as bad as Sonic Underground.
Exactly! That's the one! Finally someone understands.

It is pretty bad. The animations and the plots sucked. Even the friggin' theme song was repetitive and annoying. The only part I like about it are the DVD covers and the concept art for the theme song.
453  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: The Original Megaman Anime on: 1 June 2008, 21:38:01
Actually, I have watched the anime special. I just didn't know it was called Wish Upon A Star, so I though I hadn't seen it. I watched it on my phone on Sprint TV, in the Anime channels. It should still be there.
454  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: The Original Megaman Anime on: 1 June 2008, 21:18:01
I favor Proto in this show over Megaman. He looks more slick.
455  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: The Original Megaman Anime on: 1 June 2008, 18:12:22
I've seen it.

Thanks for rubbing it in.
456  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The MOVIE Thread on: 1 June 2008, 18:02:34
Iron Man isn't anything like Megaman.

No, I meant like the costume colors and Stark's drinking habits, and . . . never mind.
457  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: The Original Megaman Anime on: 1 June 2008, 18:00:08
I prefer the "Wish Upon a Star" OVA. Megaman looks better in it.
Do you think it's available on YouTube? As Mikero has said, I'm not that much of a Megaman guru. Which explains why I haven't seen this OVA.
458  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The MOVIE Thread on: 1 June 2008, 16:36:23
I watched Iron Man on Monday. It was cool. But not super cool. Just cool.

Iron Man is like a maturized Megaman who's lost his taste for blue and anti-alchoholism.

I suggest you watch this.
459  MegaMan Series / ZX Series / Re: Favorite Model? on: 1 June 2008, 06:42:35
But, when not underwater, I would choose H over L any day.
Exactly.
460  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: The Original Megaman Anime on: 1 June 2008, 06:36:16
I'm sure it is. I can't be sure, however, because I haven't unlocked that in the game. (Let alone, played it at all . . .)
461  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / The Original Megaman Anime on: 1 June 2008, 04:24:06
I'm not sure if it aired on TV, because I watched the episodes on DVD.

But I just felt curious about what everyone thought of it, if they've seen it.

I think it's okay. The art wasn't dazzling, but it was enough eye-candy. (Heck, the theme song animation seemed so good to me I took some screenshots. Unfortunately I'm too lazy to upload them and all, so don't even ask to see them.) However, the storyline was annoying repetitive. Get in trouble with Wily, save the day, and Mega's back at it again in the next episode.

Anyone else feel the same?

I've included some scans of the covers.

And here's a link to an episode guide with some real screenshots.

Sorry it's a rival website. I still think MMM is better.
462  MegaMan Series / ZX Series / Re: Favorite Model? on: 1 June 2008, 04:09:51
Model H is awesome, I swear. His get-up was nicely designed, and he's a well balanced robot that could do almost anything. I like his flying ability. But Model L comes in second. Only because his attacks have been made stronger and better-looking underwater.
463  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass on: 11 May 2008, 22:41:50
The maze isn't bad. It's quite addicting . . . if you have a guide . . . like I . . do -- I mean, don't . .
464  MegaMan Series / Battle Network Series / Re: Battle Nettwork 7 on: 11 May 2008, 17:07:46
I don't even want to look at another BN game. The thought of an unofficial one just makes me puke.
465  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass on: 11 May 2008, 17:04:58
It's far, far beyond "okay", and there's enough "new".
Okay, fine. But it didn't WOW me enough.
466  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: Favorite Classic Robot Master on: 11 May 2008, 16:57:34
Protoman rules! In my opinion his classic get up is so much cooler than the new one.
467  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass on: 11 May 2008, 00:06:01
I just got the game a month ago. It's okay. There's nothing new, but controlling and attacking with Link was kinda fun. The Battle Mode serves for many laughs, however, and I was wondering if anyone wanted play against me sometime? Here's my friend code.

I'd also appreciate you post your friend code, as well as your opinion on the game.
468  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 23 March 2008, 02:05:41
Today I caught the flu, thanks to those jerks in my Science class that came to school sick and decided to share their wonderful little germs. I have it all -- sore throat, runny nose, fevers at night -- but nothing helps like hot tea and Cup Noodles. Within five hours I'm 'cured'! But now the sore throat is back . . .
469  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: TGC on: 23 March 2008, 02:00:39
I've never learned to play Magic. I had a few cards, but I found no use for keeping them around, so I just donated 'em to Goodwill. The same went for all my Digimon, Duel Masters, Pokemon, DBZ, Inuyasha, and Marvel cards. They were just taking up space.
470  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: On a scale of 1 to 10, how good do you think your Mega Man playable skills are? on: 14 March 2008, 03:14:37
Because, often young boys your age go on the internet and pretend to be girls because they aren't yet at peace with their gender identity, and also because they think it'd be easier to make friends on the internet if they told everyone they were a girl.

Or maybe I'm just really wishing that MMM isn't being invaded by 13 year old girls. 'Cause that would suck.
Well if young boys my age go on the Internet posing as girls, then maybe you're a girl posing as a guy. And how does MMM being invaded by girls suck?
471  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: On a scale of 1 to 10, how good do you think your Mega Man playable skills are? on: 13 March 2008, 18:55:49
...You aren't a girl.
And you know this how?
If it means anything to anyone, Prometheus IS hot.
Yes, he is.
472  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: On a scale of 1 to 10, how good do you think your Mega Man playable skills are? on: 12 March 2008, 19:09:58
Well at least someone appreciates my femininity . . .

474  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: On a scale of 1 to 10, how good do you think your Mega Man playable skills are? on: 10 March 2008, 00:47:55
And "lulz" means . . .

I feel so stupid. I don't know half the stuff I should in order to sucessfully communicate with everyone.
475  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: On a scale of 1 to 10, how good do you think your Mega Man playable skills are? on: 9 March 2008, 23:18:39
Oh. I think I may have stumbled upon that site when I went Megaman-site-surfing. But I don't understand what Wind means about the 40% thing. Heck, I hardly understand anything here.
476  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: On a scale of 1 to 10, how good do you think your Mega Man playable skills are? on: 9 March 2008, 23:00:47
Might I remind you that 99% of females on the internet are males.
If you're hinting that I might be a guy underneath my feminine MMM guise, you should take a look at all my photos on MySpace. That is, if I let you.
And about 40% percent of those people are on RPM.
What's RPM?

477  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: No More Heroes on: 9 March 2008, 22:26:58
Which is exactly why I couldn't tell the difference.
478  MegaMan Series / ZX Series / Re: What's in Albert's book? on: 9 March 2008, 21:57:10
you put horrible thoughts in my mind.
Sorry. I'm perverted like that.
479  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: On a scale of 1 to 10, how good do you think your Mega Man playable skills are? on: 9 March 2008, 21:43:04
And that's a REALLY huge signature BTW.
Yeah, I'll change it.
Pandora and prometheus supposedly brought the destruction of the world thats why.
That makes sense.
480  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: On a scale of 1 to 10, how good do you think your Mega Man playable skills are? on: 9 March 2008, 18:42:02
I wonder why Capcom named the guy Prometheus in the first place.
481  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: No More Heroes on: 9 March 2008, 06:58:24
Sorry, I can't tell the difference between the white guys at the White House and the other ones.
482  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: On a scale of 1 to 10, how good do you think your Mega Man playable skills are? on: 9 March 2008, 06:56:36
Yeah, I love Prometheus. He's hot.
483  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: No More Heroes on: 9 March 2008, 06:24:10
The White House is far too busy to handle video game issues...
Yet the politics up there found the time to argue with GTA developers about the X-rated hidden content.
484  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Drawn to Life on: 9 March 2008, 05:08:49
Okay, thanks.
485  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Drawn to Life on: 9 March 2008, 05:06:39
Oh. Why is that bad, though?
486  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Drawn to Life on: 9 March 2008, 05:04:11
What the heck is necroposting, anyways? I've seen that twice already and I don't have a clue of what it means.
487  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Drawn to Life on: 9 March 2008, 05:02:24
I don't really like this game. It was pretty boring, and everything moved along very slowly. The only good part is when you get to draw stuff.
488  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Console Wars on: 9 March 2008, 04:50:00
The Wii, in my opinion, is definitely going to win the Console Wars. I say this because Nintendo is a company that's been around for years. Who could turn down their latest innovative machine? It's cheaper than the rest, it's readily accessible, and it provides great exercise for those lazy couch potatoes. But even the Wii has an Achilles heel. The graphics are nothing compared to the 360 and PS3. It's also more for casual gamers than hardcore. And the online content may be out-of-the-box, but it just can't keep up with XBOX Live.

The XBOX 360, however, does actually have a fighting chance. The graphics are way better, and although the controller hasn't changed much from the original XBOX, it still is a great machine. It's better suited for hardcore games, and the fun never stops with XBOX Live.

The PS3, on the other hand, is a different story. It's cowered in the shadow of the 360 for way too long. Fortunately, 2008 is bringing in more than enough titles to make up for the crappy lineup of 2007. But even with all the awesome games headed its way, it's hefty $600 really makes it a machine to avoid. The Blu-Ray capabilites don't really help.
489  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Top Video Game Characters on: 9 March 2008, 04:37:52
I can't believe I'm the only one that voted for Bomberman. Even if he isn't the best video game character, the game he came from is really great.
490  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Contra 4 on: 9 March 2008, 04:35:01
I'm one of the many, or maybe few, that haven't bought it yet. I want to, though. It looks pretty awesome, and if it's anything like the originals, then I'm all up for it.
491  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: No More Heroes on: 9 March 2008, 04:31:54
I'm looking forward to NMH. After reading stories and posts about it, I've concluded it's a lot like GTA. Now all I have to do is hope the guys at the White House won't make the same conclusion as I have and get on NMH's back.
492  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 9 March 2008, 04:25:27
I don't purchase games very often, which explains why I'm currently working on Boktai 2 right out of the Used Games shelf at Game Stop.
493  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: TGC on: 9 March 2008, 04:22:02
The only good TCG I've ever come across is Yu-Gi-Oh. All the other ones just seem to disgrace the anime/video game it originated from. Take this Megaman TCG for example. And I thought Capcom couldn't get worse than Star Force.
494  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: Good news and bad news on: 9 March 2008, 04:17:40
I wish I could say that the amount of good news makes up for the fact that Megaman isn't in Brawl.
495  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: On a scale of 1 to 10, how good do you think your Mega Man playable skills a on: 9 March 2008, 04:13:27
No. At this point, the residue of him having not played them by now will last quite a long time even if he does play them.
Might I remind you that the word "she" is used when referring to females.
496  MegaMan Series / ZX Series / Re: Looks like ZX is done for on: 9 March 2008, 04:08:43
Megaman games get worse and worse every day. With the exception of the ZX Series. But I can't bear to imagine what's in store for the Blue Bomber, which, might I add, isn't even blue anymore.
497  MegaMan Series / ZX Series / Re: Did anyone know... on: 9 March 2008, 04:05:14
I never played a game with voice acting, so right now ZXA is #1 in the voice acting department. For me. This is compared to the cruddy English voice overs from Boktai 2. And note that I've never played ZX before. Yet I consider myself a Megaman fan.
498  MegaMan Series / ZX Series / Re: What's in Albert's book? on: 9 March 2008, 04:01:07
Oh, I know what's in his book. Concept designs of Pandora without the get up.

All the bosses are easy, period.
500  MegaMan Series / Battle Network Series / Re: The Folder Rate thread on: 9 March 2008, 03:57:08
I'd rather criticize you for the awful game selecting skills. And necroposting...
It was in the Used shelf at Game Stop for only $8. To me it sounded like a great deal.
And what's necroposting?
The sheer fact that it's barely possible to have a "bad" folder makes this thread moot. It's all in how you use the folder so saying what's in it is useless information.
My Folder works pretty well for me. I just posted what was in it because that's what the thread was made for.
So whatever, she's in the same boat as Yuri. Maybe we'll keep her around to post in threads that don't get any love. Pep this place up and get it moving again.
You make it sound as if I'm nothing more than a disposable party cup.
Welcome Miss "The Otaku" I hope you enjoy your stay.
I sure hope so too. You being the first to formally welcome me really helps.
