Yes, the irony was not lost on me.

As for certain people appearing and others not... a lot of it has to do with our dumb little character avatars and how prominent those became over time. If you had a recognizable avatar you ended up in more community stuff.

I do find it really funny that I used DZX9 in the very beginning - he was already long gone by the time I made it, but for some reason I remember he popped in once around that time and posted a shirtless photo that I thought was ridiculous enough to reference.

Delta and WS were both just as recognizable as mine.  Same with Xero really.

From what I remember, both Xero and Delta (as well as Chimera) were going to be in it. Can't recall anything specifically with WS but had I kept going I'm sure I would have found a place for him.

No, not the .swf file. That's not what I meant. I can't open that up in Flash and edit it. I need the original .fla file, which is a Flash Project file. And .swf is what you get when you're all done and export everything.

And either way I'm not starting this up again anyway. Much too busy.

I am actually curious now: would that really work? Would that just decompile it in some default way that sort of randomly assigns layers and keyframes and all that, or would it actually decompile in the exact way the old file used to be?

You generally have to pay for the ones that can decompile them into a readable .fla format, but ActionScript is an interpreted language and there is no compliation of the code in any way.

The items, symbols and movie clips all retain every name and property; they just have to be put back into the .fla file format.

Anything without Delta is auto-fail.

That is all.
