Title: The Vague Burpy Hiccup of the Matrix
Post by: Slugkid on 6 December 2007, 13:23:23
Yesterday I was in the forums at midnight (Argentina timezone, -3) and I changed topics, but suddenly it gave me a 404. All night up to 5 in the morning it was off, but now it's back...
Why?(Was it gone) And, it wasn't just me, because I asked a friend of mine to check this site and he also got Page Not Found...

It was probably just Abe tinkering with the site.

I thought so too, but nobody else had posted about it happening to them, so I was wondering.

Wasn't me, it happened on my end too, but I saw no reason for it so I just went to bed!

Ah, I was wondering the same.

Strange how it just suddenly came back though.

I think Nibbles was chewing on some cables or something.

It went down for a good while.
Maybe some sort of external server/ISP problem.

I only got timeout errors, not 404s.

Nibbles is hungry for lamers, and with none readily available (yet) I guess he snacked on the server.

I think he won't have to go hungry for long.

Just sayin'.

There will be lamers soon...

They will come by the hundreds.  An epic battle will ensue on the board to rid the world of those terrible, terrible... Well to be honest I cannot think of a powerful enough word to go there.

If anyone thinks of one... Please throw it at me.  Not literally.

Sorry for the bump, but did anyone else feel that last one? Only lasted ten minutes or so, though.

I didn't notice anything, although this did make me realise that I haven't put in proper crontabs for the radio yet.
