You're about ten months late to that particular scene. I've since grown tired of it and gone back to old faithful CS:S Still stumbling my way through Order of Ecclesia as well as refreshing my Brawl skills in preparation for the ultimate showdown of final destiny two days hence.

Who here has the systems to even play these games still? Most NES units should be dead by now, and SNES should be starting to die anyway.
I have a working NES (well, actually the AC adaptor crapped out but it plays fine with the power supply from our air hockey table) and SNES (although the power supply on THIS one is a little finnicky as well and sometimes it takes as long as ten minutes to get it working properly) and still occasionally bring them out for a game or two. @Rez: I count Mega Man Soccer :O

Yeah, we all knew there were two boss loops. Shadow Blade does 2 to Snake Man though so the order becomes Top-Shadow-Spark-Magnet-Hard-Snake-Gemini-Needle. The game is my second-favourite after MM4, and MM4 would have been PERFECT if they kept the MM3 Rush Jet (and, optionally, the Rush Jet glitch and jumping glitch )

#####ed up weekend.
On my way home from work at about 1AM saturday morning I got mugged by the most pathetic criminal you ever saw. Seriously, I was at least a little scared by him while he was merely threatening force, but then once I'd stared him down for a bit he actually swung and I was no longer afraid of him at all. I ended up just emptying my pocket ($4, WOW THAT WAS REALLY WORTH CONFRONTING ME FOR WHEN I ALREADY OFFERED YOU $2 OUT OF SHEER KINDNESS) for him because I'd just finished a seven-and-a-half-hour shift without break and there was another hour of walking ahead of me, and I really wasn't in the right mood to kick his ass.
The only damage he did to me was a bit to my lungs from the cigarette smoke he blew in my face, and the thing that pissed me off the most was that he broke my Slurpee straw.
Cut to Saturday night, when I was SUPPOSED to be at the Lions game watching my sister's choir PERFORM THE #####ING NATIONAL ANTHEM but through some #####ing miscommunication I was still scheduled to work. At least I wasn't mugged again.
Tonight it turns out I missed my cousin's 7th birthday party, again for work.
#####.

Anyone who can make an RPG a fun experience for me deserves a medal.
Mikero: I loathe the term 'classic rock' for exactly the same reason. I guess more specifically I don't mind the term itself but it being considered a genre sets my teeth on edge.
Anyways, Meat Loaf - For Crying Out Loud
Beautiful song, definitely recommended for anyone who likes their music soft.

I found the iPod's battery meter to be completely unreliable, but then again that was two generations ago so I can't speak for the current gen.
My current player, a lovely little Creative ZEN that is as sturdy as a brick (and therefore more suitable for klutz Fatso who drops ##### all over the place than an iPod), has a little bit of that battery-meter unreliability, but not NEARLY to the same extent as the iPod did.
And the screen is better.
And there's no proprietary software.
And it's better in just about every aspect.
So yeah.

Also reported it for copyright infringement (which it is, on two counts - technically an infringement of the original composer's work as she was not cited, also a DIRECT infringement of my implicit copyright on the derivative work itself.)
