Got to work at 5, had to kick it into overdrive the ENTIRE five remaining hours of business, then there were two of us closing from 10:00 to 11:15. Damn.
Watched Seattle's fireworks on TV. This year they actually had their ##### together and it went off without a hitch.

The thing with jogging is that, for reasons that continue to mystify me to this day, most people have difficulty doing it.
On the other hand, I'm terribly out of shape - there's this one hill on the way home from work that I used to be able to run up without difficulty (with all my work clothing/miscellaneous items), and lately it's stymied me to no end. This might also be a product of the change of temperature between August and December, but I'm certainly not nearly so fit as I was then.

'Better' perhaps in a technical sense because of the differing technology in use. However, by no means were the arrangements themselves better. Most of them were in fact TERRIBLE.

I love MOST of the songs, particularly the fortress stages and Crystal Man, but Gyro Man and Wave Man simply do not sound good at all.

Money. A lot of money.
Also some books:
A compilation of A Brief History of Time and The Universe in a Nutshell by Stephen Hawking.
Firstborn by Arthur C. Clarke and Stephen Baxter. Which really means that Baxter wrote it and Clarke stuck his name on it.
Also a new pair of earbuds (although I've already got a probably-better pair, they're more than a month old and thus on their way out, inevitably).
And a Black Sabbath collection, which I may or may not enjoy (me not being a metal fan, really, at all). Probably not enjoy, but I can't find out until I try it.

I have the PC version and the soundtrack is installed with the game so I can bring those epic tunes around with me anywhere I want. I wish they'd used a higher bitrate, though. Oh well. Everyone should try the demo for free, at least. It ought to blow your mind.

I did so well so easily in high school that I never learned how to work at learning. As a consequence, my grades are probably going to suck.
Fortunately, all my exams were so easy that I shouldn't get much worse than a C+ on any of the courses (which is still, you know, #####ing terrible).

It goes so far beyond gamerscore though.
The average gamer these days is guilty of two primary sins:
1.) Taking themselves too seriously. This is why games that aren't hyper-realistic or shooters are seen as being "too kiddie" If you aren't killing something or humiliating someone, there's "no point".
2.) Having no imagination. If they don't thirst for variety, developers stop trying. This is how we ended up with so many essentially identical first-person shooters.
YES. I'm still a shooter fan, but I want my Battlezone and Tribes back. And my TIE Fighter, for that matter. Think another X-Wing game wouldn't sell out in a day? Think again.

Even if they could legitimately call it a 'total annular eclipse' - which seems redundant, because an annular eclipse is one in which the moon comes directly in front of the sun but never achieves totality because the moon is too far away from Earth to obscure it completely, and they'd be more likely to call a partial eclipse just that instead of distinguishing by type of totality - I saw that eclipse. It was clearly total total, corona and all.

Yeah, if I were pressed to name my single favourite song from any video game ever, Stickerbrush Symphony would be it.
Which reminds me, I should get back to tweaking that midi...

The first three books are pure gold, though I'll admit that the series goes bat##### crazy after that.
Patrick Stewart was the only good part of the first Dune movie, but I haven't seen the newer Children of Dune one so I can't pass judgment on it.
