1401  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: On a scale of 1 to 10, how good do you think your Mega Man playable skills a on: 9 March 2008, 01:47:17
Here's how it works, if you'll pardon my analogy.

Disliking the Battle Network series is like using hydroelectric power. Good for you YAAAAAAAAY!

Not having played the X series is like Chernobyl.
1402  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 9 March 2008, 01:43:24
I refuse to call him Darth Vader. The character only becomes Darth Vader after Padamamé or Panda Bear or whatever the hell her name was dies and Hayden will never be Darth Vader.

Reading that gave me the sudden vision of David Prowse playing Anakin Skywalker in the prequel movies and speaking in James Earl Jones' voice.
1403  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Games you wish had sequels on: 9 March 2008, 01:39:31
*facepalm at self* Player Fatso took 576 How Did I Not Catch That damage!
1404  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: Sinper joes? on: 8 March 2008, 19:01:31
Or is it? *dun dun dun*

Sorry; I actually usually think about what I post too, but that opening was just too big.
1405  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Star Wars Force Unleashed on: 8 March 2008, 06:39:12
*shouts out in agreement*

*notes that he, himself, has no recollection of the original releases, only the 1997 Special Editions, thanks to being extremely young in the early '90s*

*shuffles slowly out of room*
1406  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Games you wish had sequels on: 8 March 2008, 06:02:16
You're to have your wish granted in no more than 26 hours, depending on where you live of course.
1407  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Rock Band on: 7 March 2008, 02:40:19
I thought that was what this forum was all about!

Drat. I seem to have improperly assessed this forum. Don't mind me *scurries to lab*
1408  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Star Wars Force Unleashed on: 7 March 2008, 02:35:10
Most of the good Star Wars games (X-Wing, TIE Fighter, etc.) are from the DOS era, though the Dark Forces games managed to extend their awesomeness beyond the millenium mark with JK2.
1409  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Bully: Scholarship Edition on: 5 March 2008, 05:30:10
I'm sure that makes you the envy of your peers.

I live in BC myself, and I speak as someone who took a lot of abuse between the ages of five and fifteen, and I really don't give a #####. Bullying does not arise from playing video games. Bullying arises from a multitude of other social conditions, but not video games, so far as I can tell.
1410  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: The *ahem* collection on: 4 March 2008, 04:29:08
Then they would have irreversibly switched the 'Pass' and 'Shoot' buttons, and probably put the 'Clear Kick' button somewhere not even on the controller!
1411  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The corrupted wish game. on: 4 March 2008, 04:27:54
Granted, but it turns into a Duck Megazord and squishes you.

I wish I hadn't just corrupted that wish that way.
1412  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: The *ahem* collection on: 4 March 2008, 04:24:33
They were just sweeping through the non-canon games anyway, why not throw it in?
1413  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The corrupted wish game. on: 4 March 2008, 03:35:20
Granted, you're now a total loser.

I wish for Perfect Dark 2.
1414  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: The *ahem* collection on: 4 March 2008, 03:18:14
Mega Man X is my most-played game of all time (over 2000 hours IIRC), and I felt it appropriate to pick up another release of this best-game-evar competitor. I would get MHX as well, but that would entail getting a (*blurgh*) PSP.

I like the fact that slowdown has been eliminated as well as the 8-channel sound limitation on the SNES games.

I dislike that they used the PSX version of X3, as well as the lacklustre extras (I mean, they didn't even put Mega Man Soccer on! ZOMFGZ)
1415  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: Casting call for MegaMan: The Movie on: 29 February 2008, 18:32:48
Double bonus points if it's actually a little mini-movie tacked on to the end.
1416  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: The History of Video Games on: 29 February 2008, 18:18:52

1419  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: "Un"Official Brawl Update Topic on: 28 February 2008, 18:22:38
Is there any other possible reason?
1420  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: What it Truly is to be a Maverick. on: 28 February 2008, 18:21:39
in other words if the reploid refused to do something it was programmed to do, it was maverick. At least that's what the whole statement inferred.
That makes no sense, as the entire idea behind Reploids is that they possess free will and self-awareness, and thus would not be 'programmed' to do anything.
1421  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Powerups on: 28 February 2008, 04:11:13

1422  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: "Un"Official Brawl Update Topic on: 28 February 2008, 03:29:39
Unless I can see it physically there and demonstrated on a Wii, it's bull.

Even then, it could still be bull, just clever bull worth my scam money.
1423  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: What are you watching? on: 28 February 2008, 03:24:57
Also, though I'm a mad into Terminator, through some phenom I haven't seen the third movie and this makes me want to.

The third movie is 100% optional. It's okay, but pales in comparison to the other two.
1424  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: X saber? on: 28 February 2008, 03:21:40

Who said he was playing as Protoss?

M&M should have taken that down pretty swiftly.
1426  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: X saber? on: 28 February 2008, 03:17:06
And THAT is how it's done, folks.

1428  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: Megaman Soccer: Greatest Game Ever on: 27 February 2008, 22:58:11
I remember having some NES soccer game with River City Ransom-type sprites. God, I miss that game.
"GOAL!"?

I am the Keymaster.

<_<

Are you the Gatekeeper?
1430  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: What are you watching? on: 27 February 2008, 18:45:33
Doesn't it end next week? Short first season, though lately the same could be said about tons of shows.

Let's hope it's not the only season. I am also loving it, though still pissed off by their casting choices.
1431  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Discussion Topic (for obscure/intellectual topics) on: 27 February 2008, 18:44:35
The true purpose of extra capacity on my portable media players is for me to rip every CD I own at 320 kbps :D
1432  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: Megaman Soccer: Greatest Game Ever on: 27 February 2008, 18:20:54
Quite possibly so.
1433  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: Megaman Soccer: Greatest Game Ever on: 27 February 2008, 18:12:40
Right. It's one of the worse soccer games I've played. And I have played good and bad ones.
It's not a good soccer game, and it's not a good Mega Man game, but it somehow still manages to be unbelievably awesome.
1434  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: GENERAL X SERIES ENQUIRIES on: 27 February 2008, 18:11:22
The X1 supercharged buster shot did somewhere between 12-15 damage to non-boss enemies IIRC (1 damage being a single shot without dashing), while the X2 double-shot combined for like 12. Mostly similar, yeah.
1435  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Gems on X, Zero, Axl head? on: 27 February 2008, 18:09:31
Except it's drawing its inspiration from the old Animated Series, which automatically defeats it ultimately and totally.
1436  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show your Avatars! on: 26 February 2008, 23:57:13
All PokeMon are ugly and I pay no attention to them.
Fixxed.
1437  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Gems on X, Zero, Axl head? on: 26 February 2008, 23:53:33
I didn't think that was even possible!
1438  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: The Introduction Thread on: 26 February 2008, 23:52:53
Please.  As you can see Corruption is quite intellegent and can string together a sentence.  Of course he's going to get a warm reception.

You can too....if you just used the spellcheck more often.

Quoted for epic irony.
1439  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show your Avatars! on: 26 February 2008, 18:08:15
Impossible! You couldn't... unless... *runs to laboratory*

1441  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Top Video Game Characters on: 26 February 2008, 16:12:03
He doesn't seem terribly noble to me.
1442  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: Megaman Soccer: Greatest Game Ever on: 26 February 2008, 16:11:04
I love Mega Man Soccer! I would spend hours playing through that game.

And then cry out in frustration when I beat it and it just rebooted.

Allow me to cite something in response to this:

No. You don't have to delete it, just link to the site where you got it from or something. At least an honorable mention.

You're missing the point. He's talking about PLAGIARISM. As in theft of intellectual property.
1445  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: GENERAL X SERIES ENQUIRIES on: 26 February 2008, 01:36:02
I personally find them easy more due to rote memorization than anything :D
1446  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: "Un"Official Brawl Update Topic on: 26 February 2008, 01:34:23
Looks like a result of Ike rolling to the left there.

EDIT: On second look, maybe not.
1447  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: GENERAL X SERIES ENQUIRIES on: 26 February 2008, 01:31:38
X2 is usually hard due to the X-Hunters, but with enough care and all the items you should be able to take them down with little difficulty.

Similarly, X3 has a few tough boss battles, but pick up the Saber and you'll be fine.
1448  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: Which Robot Master would win? on: 26 February 2008, 01:30:00

1449  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Most annoying (hardist) maverick battle on: 26 February 2008, 01:27:07
The method you have to use to beat him is somewhat annoying also.
1450  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Most annoying (hardist) maverick battle on: 25 February 2008, 18:55:22
Actually, you could still double-tap dash, so you COULD dash-jump.
