If by 'odd' you mean 'one of the worst pieces of crap ever to disgrace the television medium.'
Still better than Sonic X, however.

In my case, 'is'. Picked it up two days ago from the GBA locker at my local EB, and I must admit to being totally enthralled. For years I ridiculed the BN series on principle without actually playing it, but I really had no idea what I was missing :S

In contrast it took work to get me to stand UP with the wiimote. I already knew how to economize my movements (it made me a wicked Wii Tennis player thank you very much) and soon an hours-long Twilight Princess session did not daunt me in the slightest.

You use Toon Link's meteor smash outside of a stage with water and let's see you say that. XD
That's a specific case. The way to avoid that is to actually hit someone with the meteor smash, dummy. On the other hand, I've found it far easier to chase my opponents off the stage in Brawl than Melee.

You can build up an ammunity to caffeine surprisingly quickly, actually.
*ahem* I don't have ammunities to anything. I do, however, understand how one could quickly build up an immunity to caffeine.

Especially the matter-of-fact way in which they discuss it.
"it is not inappropriate to an organisation that’s looking to have a firm grip on Government spend."
EPIC.

Waited for my school "partner" (who slacks and barely shows up to class) to send me an E-mail like he promised. He said he'd send me the information needed to finish his end of the PowerPoint. I asked him to send it around 7:00 PM so I could get it over with.
It's 8:40 PM. I just got it. It's a load of crap. Ahem... I'm busy being that guy right now. *hastens to Word to type up cue cards*

Just saying, if you're going to bust out your vocab, at least take the time to work it properly into the sentence, and don't use the Mega Man smileys. They clash with the intelligence bit.

Who? Me or him? If me, good call and I'm pulling out of my assault immediately. If him, well, he hasn't showed up since, so you can safely assume he's cut it out.

Wait. Does this guy carry a thesaurus around with him when he's posting? The vocabulary seems out of place; the sentences lack the natural flow one would expect from something containing said vocabulary.

Went to work. There's too many employees there so I was asked to go home. I worked for an hour and clocked out. I wish we had that situation where I work. Instead we have on average two missing shifts per (weekend) day, ON TOP OF our usual understaffed situation.

Long day - rather, long afternoon, which consisted of me trying to rein in about twenty trumpet players from visiting middle schools, lead them in practice of a mass-band piece, and then adding my trumpeting to their own for the piece proper.
Twelve-year-olds are an unruly bunch, I must tell you. By the time the afternoon was over, I had an intense headache and was ready to die.

Speaking as an FPS fan *keeps distance from Rez* I still don't see how these games are encouraging violence. If idiots can't distinguish between the Internet and reality, that's their own damn fault, and I won't allow myself to be deprived of my online fragging fun for their sake.

Reboot kicks ass. Between poking fun at computer jargon and just enough darkness and sinister-ness to keep me watching, it essentially dominated my TV life around the turn of the millennium. And my mom briefly worked with a couple of the animators from the series, too (well after they were done with it, of course).
