Two arguments (well, there would have been two):
ONE: I would have argued using the OST but the track doesn't seem to even be on there :S
TWO: It plays twice, once in the opening stage, once when Zero dies. If it were a Zero Death theme, it would only have played when he died.
To counter any further argument, not only does it play the only time X speaks, but it does NOT play every time Zero speaks.
EDIT: Found the track, but either the title artist at Capcom sucks or whoever transcribed it at Atomic Fire sucks, and it's mislabeled "DEMO"

X1 - absolutely amazing. Quality of every damn track in that game just blows me away, even the ones I don't particularly like (Storm Eagle).
X2 - Pure unbounded creativity, that's all I can say about it. Crystal Snail is among my favourite tunes from any game ever.
X3 - Two tracks stand out, Gravity Beetle and Toxic Seahorse. The rest are pretty good, but not nearly as epic as the two soundtracks which preceded it.

Now that I have my own computer, I`m able to do a whole bunch of things I couldn`t do when I didn`t have my own machine.
Like put DOSBox on it. Now I`ve been playing like four hours of TIE Fighter a day. Unhealthy? Yes. Awesome? YES.

Well, it doesn't do bad in SB X-Fi Audio, either. I only wish I could find some more synthesizers...
The sound card doesn`t matter, an SB X-Fi sound card without a special fancy synth installed will still play it in MSGS etc.

One more for your perusal, not from an MM game this time. Gundam Wing: Endless Duel - EpyonThis is a redo of a sequence I did of the same piece almost a year ago, which sucked hard. The fewer questions asked of how I obtained the source material the better :S Posted on: 10 June 2008, 02:33:28
LAPTOP SETUP ANNOYANCES MAN DEFEATED! YOU GET FL STUDIO 8. First upgrade: Launch Octopus touched up with modulation, pitch-bend and volume control effects I couldn't use in Anvil Studio. EDIT: Now seriously, this one will be 100% butchered by any Apple ##### you try to run it on.

I only use earbuds for travel or for comfort. My headphones are awesome, but after extended periods of use they become uncomfortable (due to the around-the-ear phone style, which I love but which hurts after an hour or two) at which point I'll switch to a pair of uber-comfortable earbuds, which STILL manage to put out semi-decent sound quality (they're the only earbuds I can play Call of Duty with, if that means anything to anyone else) and cost around $40.

Ever tried to boot up a game released in the last five years on your brand-new (alas, integrated graphics card) laptop and realized HOW MUCH INTEL'S BLOODY DRIVERS SUCK?! Settings minimized: ten frames per second. TEN FRAMES PER SECOND. Shared memory or not, that is frankly unacceptable. Looking for new drivers now.

Last day of high school today.
Epic win.
Went to a wrap-up party afterwards, played six straight hours of Rock Band. I suck at it. I suck hard. I did manage to hammer out a decent rendition of Won't Get Fooled Again on Expert with my 1337 Daltry-like skillz, however.
Just when it seemed the day could not be more complete, I came home to a brand-new laptop, from which I am posting this.
May I repeat: Epic win. The video memory is shared though :S
