L was going by L long before the populous named the unseen force of justice "Kira".

If you get the chance, I highly recommend it. He always comes out after shows to sign #####. You can also pick up an original copy of 'Fast Cars, Danger, Fire, and Knives" with the 88 page lyric booklet from all his work up to that point.

Current: "Real Men Dance" - Sweden's Finest

If anyone can find me a CD by these guys, you'll be my personal hero.
1254  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 10 December 2007, 05:24:11
They don't do it directly, but you'll have to assign yourself reading and studying if you plan to stay on top of things.

"Recommended reading" is just a nice way to say "Required"

His new CD is awesome. Go buy it.

1260  MegaMan Series / Legends Series / Re: That monkey looks familar... on: 10 December 2007, 04:06:12
Knowing Capcom, they'll try and write this game into the Megaman time-line as well.

Heh...

Melty Blood...

I couldn't take that seriously even if it had Sean Penn in it.

And let me tell you.  Sean Penn is SERIOUS.

1263  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: SKATE on: 8 December 2007, 16:10:35
In Skate, if I land a move, I actually feel like I've accomplished something.

I feel the same way too, but that's because the controls suck.

They don't suck, they just take skill.
1264  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Your favorite animes, and why you like them on: 8 December 2007, 00:56:17
If it doesn't make me think, it's boring.
1265  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Your favorite animes, and why you like them on: 8 December 2007, 00:48:35
I can't believe I forgot this one:

Colorful

"Roses are red
Violets are blue
This show is about panties"
1266  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Your favorite animes, and why you like them on: 8 December 2007, 00:00:20
Well its either Anime or Marijuana with kids now.

I prefer both at once. Samurai Champloo on mushrooms is crazy.
1267  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: SKATE on: 7 December 2007, 23:56:51
I've never seen commercials for it (mainly because I don't watch television) but I do enjoy the game, and prefer it to the Tony Hawk franchise.

In Skate, if I land a move, I actually feel like I've accomplished something. I can't say the same for TH.
1268  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Your favorite animes, and why you like them on: 7 December 2007, 23:48:11
Death Note: I enjoyed the first 2/3s of this show due primarily to its moral ambiguity and relentless cat and mousing.

Elfen Lied: The first episode alone was enough to make me love this show.

Ergo Proxy: This one I wasn't expecting to enjoy, but really did. It doesn't offer too much new stuff in the way of cyberpunk, but it raises #####-loads of interesting philosophical questions.

Full Metal Alchemist: I enjoyed this one for the story more than anything else. Every time I started to get little kid vibes from it, someone died a terrible death or there was some sort of hideous suffering monster. I will say this though: Without the addition of the movie, that ending would have been terrible.

Samurai Champloo: This show had great fight scenes. The story left something to be desired, but it's made up for by badassery.

I'm sure there's more, but this is a good start.

I really hoped people would have grown out of anime by now...

I feel the same way about ICP.
1269  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show your Music! on: 7 December 2007, 20:25:38
I've got all three of them, But like I said, there's only 2 or three songs that I actually from each CD.

Current: "The Salt Crown" - Sleepytime Gorilla Museum

The Octopous Project

I just saw them live about a month ago when they opened for Aesop Rock. They were... interesting. Devo meets Melt Banana.

Why don't you want anything for christmas? Just because you aren't getting anything?

I don't want anything because... well... there's nothing I want. Is it really that hard to imagine?
1279  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: What are YOU getting for Christmas? on: 6 December 2007, 16:33:56
I'm getting: Nothing.

Nor do I want anything.

"I Wear My Skin" - One Minute Silence

These guys only have two good songs per CD... It's too bad more of their stuff isn't like this.
1282  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: Any ideas for the future of MMM? on: 6 December 2007, 02:49:15
Interesting idea, but I suspect it would fizzle out after awhile.

Remember the blogs?

I flat out refuse to install any of those programs. Never mind the fact that they're turning the place into neomyspace, They're made by random people. If I was still a bad person, I would info farm with one.

People are too trusting.

Today I studied, went to class, studied, had lunch, studied, finished the first season of Dexter, went to Barnes & Noble and bought all 3 books in the "Dexter" series, studied, and here I am.

Just because you don't learn our history doesn't mean we sat on our asses all damn day.

Silly Mikero, Canada doesn't have any history; Just rocks, trees and water.
1289  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Actually, two major enough X series games subjects on: 5 December 2007, 05:42:38
Okay, that should be all I need to know... even if saying you live in NM doesn't actually tell me anything about your native language.

There a folks who live up in MN with me who speak Swahili as their native language.

Anyway, a word of advice:

English is not your strong suit. I'm willing to venture a guess that you haven't gotten the response from the community you were looking for because you're posts are difficult to read.

If you don't polish your skills, I can assure you that communication around here will be frustrating for all parties involved.
1290  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Maverick Hunter X on: 5 December 2007, 05:31:39
Shut the ##### up Charles.

You know what I meant.
1291  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Maverick Hunter X on: 5 December 2007, 05:20:38
I really enjoyed playing as Vile. The fact that I had to plan ahead before going into the stage to make sure I was going to be properly equipped was wonderful. The voice acting didn't exactly thrill me, but it almost never does, so no grudges held there. I guess the only thing I could really complain about was what they did to some of the robot masters' characters.
1292  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: Welcome back! on: 5 December 2007, 05:03:38
All 8 of them.

Welcome back.
1293  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Actually, two major enough X series games subjects on: 5 December 2007, 04:56:25
I'm fairly certain that didn't answer my questions, though I admittedly didn't make it through much of your content, as your 'writing style' hurts my eyes.

I was asking for your age or primary language because I figured if you were very young or not a native English speaker I would cut you some slack. At this point, I have no idea.
1294  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Actually, two major enough X series games subjects on: 5 December 2007, 04:34:14
I mean no disrespect with these next questions but:

Is English your first language, and

How old are you?
1295  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 5 December 2007, 04:22:53
Assuming that everything you said is true, Cheers.

People are painfully oblivious to the world around them.
1296  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show Yourselves! on: 5 December 2007, 04:18:47
Except you'd be hovering over the thing.

That's weird.
1297  MegaMan Series / Legends Series / Re: Would YOU pay 15 MILLION for a Legends 3? on: 5 December 2007, 04:17:39
Why? He's safe there.

Besides, all that making Legends 3 would accomplish is proving my age old theory:

Breath of Fire III is the prequel to Megaman Legends.
1298  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 5 December 2007, 04:08:03
I don't know what's off to that one side, but it's making everybody really happy.

I find your logic interesting.
