Damn it, Wind, that video forced me to click links until I started watching this crap again.

Why would you do this to me?
752  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Video share topic on: 5 March 2009, 01:40:42
I had an account long ago.
Ditched it because of pretty much everything on that list.
753  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show your Music! on: 5 March 2009, 01:31:33
Been listening to a lot of K-waves LAB Kou Ogata stuff.
Particularly the more Irish stuff.

I've always liked this type of music.
754  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show your Music! on: 3 March 2009, 13:35:51
Sounds like a winner to me.

Listening to the World of Goo soundtrack right now.
Good stuff.

That's a pillow, dumbass.

It's not a hat?
How #####ing useless.

Get out of my sight.

Why so defensive?

I haven't been to one of the actual restaurants in years now.
I remember the food being OK.

The IBC restaurant was way better, but then it's sort of a fancy place.
759  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show Your Stuff! (lots of images) on: 3 March 2009, 03:04:36
JC is a man who knows his root beer, that's plain to see!
760  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 3 March 2009, 03:02:54
Huh. If Schomaker put a cat in the bong...

... until you take the cat out of the bong you have a possible stoned cat and a possible sober cat at the same time.

Schomaker uncertainty principle.
761  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show Your Stuff! (lots of images) on: 3 March 2009, 02:54:46
While I enjoy root beer immensely, it is not birch beer, and it is also not ginger ale.
Or Dr. Pepper, but that was sort of assumed.
762  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show Your Stuff! (lots of images) on: 3 March 2009, 02:43:07
Which sort, the 16 oz or 2L variety? I can't see downing a whole 2L, but then I like to savor things. Plus, the plastic gives the drink a slightly off taste, and I'd rather have it from a can or fountain (mmm, fountain soda).

I like Dr. Pepper pretty well.

Although I had some cherry Dr. Pepper, tasted the same.

This is because Dr. Pepper is already cherry flavored.
763  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show Your Stuff! (lots of images) on: 3 March 2009, 01:59:12
I love you Nova. Like I love Dr. Pepper.

I just wanted you to know that.

Like, at private schools (or in my case, military schools), you get demerits for doing something bad like breaking a rule.

They do this in many public schools as well.
At least in my region.
765  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Video share topic on: 3 March 2009, 00:32:10

... no...

... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OO!
766  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: What are you watching? on: 3 March 2009, 00:29:03
Th-That monkey is a suicide bomber...

I also find it weird there's a black boy in little Betty's class considering African-Americans were only allowed to attend school with Caucasians first in 1964 (yes that recent).

Of course since we all know the main point of the video isn't even plausible, I guess that's OK.

I believe this is a singular production for schools nationwide.
That is the token minority kid.

That or it's a Wisconsin school.
767  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show Your Stuff! (lots of images) on: 3 March 2009, 00:21:32
I've never understood how anyone can claim to like Pepsi, but if you really do then I guess it's OK.

Somebody has to drink it I guess.
768  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Video share topic on: 3 March 2009, 00:19:27
Not impressed with it.

If Fallout 3 has taught me anything about surviving in the post-apocalyptic wasteland,

It hasn't.

Yes it has.
I know how to get food from Super Duper Mart and everything.
I'm set for life.

770  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Post a pic of your favorite MM boss on: 3 March 2009, 00:11:32
Not really.
We'd all have thousands of them by now.
771  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 2 March 2009, 13:22:37
I eventually got into the habit of doing them before I coded anything (at least object by object). Using Java speeds that along because many compilers, especially Eclipse, allow you to create your own documentation for your code, so it shows info on tool-tips for them.

But it's really only useful on larger, more complex projects than whatever it is you must be doing. Helps you figure out what you should be doing (especially in structured/imperative languages).
772  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show your Avatars! on: 2 March 2009, 13:18:24
Ah, weebl. I should have known better.
773  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: About charging Wii controllers on: 2 March 2009, 13:16:33
Except that most of them aren't classics, and there's no Gunstar Heroes, no Toejam and Earl, no Toejam and Earl 2 and no Rocket Knight Adventures (among others).

Instead you get awful crap like Golden Axe and Phantasy Star. If your game list was that game list, with the exception of the Sonic games, you'd be better off with an SNES.
774  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show Your Stuff! (lots of images) on: 2 March 2009, 03:37:28
If you can find it, you horrible Maine-iac.

But yeah, the vanilla syrup they use in restaurants is tops.
However, if we're talking about that I usually go with amaretto but whatever.

776  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: About charging Wii controllers on: 2 March 2009, 03:16:20
That's a whole different level of anti-usability right there, actually.
777  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show Your Stuff! (lots of images) on: 2 March 2009, 03:06:55
I never did get to try any of that.
By the way, do they still make vanilla Coke? I love that stuff.
778  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: About charging Wii controllers on: 2 March 2009, 03:04:58
I never had a Sega Saturn, or vaguely remembered of it's existence.

Never handled that controller, but by it's looks, I'd argue that the Gamecube one is worse than th- wait, is the back of that controller flat?

Mostly. The bars you see down the sides raise back a little, but not much.
The real kicker is that this thing is pretty much the size of your face, and the triggers are way the hell up there on the back of those bars.
779  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show Your Stuff! (lots of images) on: 2 March 2009, 03:03:22
The foam is really awesome. You know if it gets ice cream in it the foam stays longer?
That's pretty tasty stuff. Zero is good, but I'm waiting for them to make Coca-Cola Quantum.

That's pretty cool Wind.
What sort of Coca-Cola is it? The plain sort? Does it have bubbles?
I like it when the bubbles are still in and it's all fizzy and stuff.

785  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 2 March 2009, 02:50:28
Being "hip" these days is pretty meaningless, given the general multiplicity of subcultures and meta-cultures that exist. It's impossible to really be "with it" or "in the loop", because there are so many goddamn loops that if you tried to be in them all...

... well, it would be one monster of a Venn diagram.

Best thing is just to be who you are (and rip up your denim jacket and fade it so you can be a cool breeze like Wind).
786  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show Yourselves! on: 2 March 2009, 02:45:57
I honestly don't see how.
The face isn't evil or malicious at all.

just kinda creepy
787  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 2 March 2009, 02:44:46
Heh, that reminds me of the sort of stuff people would do back in the 70's and 80's to look "hip". Odd how things go around.

My brother's the same way, except different! He's part of that "gamer army" that was started by that Pure Pwnage internet series.. which I think is ridiculous, I tell him he looks like a #####ing chump when he dresses up in hunter green army gear with "gamer army" patches on his jacket. Goddamn.

Hahahaha, oh wow, people actually do that? Those are some genes that need to be trashed. No offense, Wind.

Chaos just has a disgustingly typical sense of humor, methinks.

Still, it wasn't that funny. Amusing, but eh.
791  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: About charging Wii controllers on: 2 March 2009, 02:36:03
The best d-pad on the planet, as far as I'm concerned, was the SNES one. PSX type controllers are close, but since they lack the center it makes it a little harder to roll with it.

I've never understood d-pads having depressed centers; you use the edges, not the middle.
Not that a raised center would be good either, but flat is best in my opinion.

I actually like how the Wing looks better. Neither controller seems very ergonomic, but they don't have much of a bar to raise considering the classic controller's design.

... regardless, I did manage to beat Super Metroid in under 3:00h 100% with the classic controller, so it's not that bad.
792  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Video share topic on: 1 March 2009, 13:38:02
If Fallout 3 has taught me anything about surviving in the post-apocalyptic wasteland, it's that if you don't want to have hit men or vigilantes out on the hunt for you 100% of the time, for every town you save you must murder another.

Oh, and if you meet any mutated tree men, just talk to them because they are funny and really cool guys.
793  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: What's your dream car? on: 1 March 2009, 13:20:42
Don't count on it.
A good quarter of my genetics are Italian, and I couldn't care less about cars, save that they get me from one place to another.

... I do tend to prefer low cars and turn corners at high speeds though.
794  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: About charging Wii controllers on: 1 March 2009, 13:15:39
I've not had problems with mine, and it's also the same model as ASR's...
... but I never really use my Wii these days.

Rechargeable batteries hold full charge much longer if you use them until they fully lose charge and only then put them back on the charger until they are, of course, fully charged.
795  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: The Introduction Thread on: 1 March 2009, 13:13:07

800  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: WINDS Gallery on: 27 February 2009, 12:53:32
Yeah, but that's just voodoo.

Colors have been used to represent a lot of things, and it changes depending on who, when, what, where and how you ask.

So I just stick with this:

Yellow - Electromagnetic force
Violet - Strong/Weak Nuclear force
White - Photonic radiation (doesn't behave like EM, despite being exactly that)
Black - Gravitation
Red - Plasma
Green - Gas
Blue - Liquid
Orange - Solid

Which I use for magic, and I just use my imagination to turn the physics explanation into stupid sounding normal magic elements and there you go. In order: Lightning, Cold (that's a long explanation), Light, Dark, Fire, Wind, Water, Earth.

So I guess my point is that Wind has been using the exact colors I would have, and so I never thought twice about his choices.
