Did they change the price of gumballs back to 1¢?
1402  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: If you could have any material thing... on: 7 October 2008, 15:26:33
I eat very little because I have a very small appetite.

But I don't even eat healthy. I eat crap. And I really need to start being careful with what I eat, because since I don't eat enough, I have to be smart about what I do eat.

You're right at the age I was when my metabolism was like "Hahaha, loser, see you later".
1403  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Fun Mac Command on: 7 October 2008, 15:25:00
Yes, right.
What is the command?
1404  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Stand-Up Comedy on: 7 October 2008, 15:24:04
You can't?
Aww. Gotta have funny voices if you're going to do stand-up.

or whatnot
1405  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Upcoming Games Topic on: 7 October 2008, 15:22:03
It's really all they have, though, and it's a great game for parents to get their kids and for kids to go "BUT I WANTED ULTRA DEATH FPS 7000".

We do still live in a world where parents are idiots and do the right thing.
1406  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: The Official Mega Man 9 Topic on: 7 October 2008, 15:19:53
I wish I had a banhammer.

Anyway, nice catch, ASR.

I'm still a little vague on what the kit contains, so be sure to take pictures of the contents.
1407  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: Why is Megaman so popular? Your opinions! on: 7 October 2008, 15:17:16
Shhh.
Let them dream, OD.
1408  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: -ROBOT MASTER THREAD- on: 7 October 2008, 15:16:18
This is how history repeats itself, kids.

Oh, right.
Female robot masters. Mega Roll would be fun to play. Assuming she has abilities similar to MvC Roll. Vacuum arm? Good to go!

It'd be neat to see more of them in later games, assuming later games are made, but I agree with Mikero; shouldn't be overdone.

I personally can't think of any names for one, although it doesn't really take much effort to come up with one RM. Volt Woman, maybe.
1409  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show your Avatars! on: 7 October 2008, 02:30:51
That's the best sig ever.
You get 9000 Chron Points.
1410  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Fun Mac Command on: 7 October 2008, 02:27:21
Turns it upside down?
I feel a gaping hole in my computer knowledge has been exposed.
1411  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Video share topic on: 7 October 2008, 02:24:45
She stutters and goes "um... uhh" a lot when speaking, but what a great singing voice she has. I always have liked that style of music.
1412  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Majors on: 7 October 2008, 02:19:00
We have Conservatives, Liberals, and the rest can be considered medium to little guys really. The Green Party never gets majority seats, I think. They probably get a some ridings in each province but... Like... They don't even have commercials really. NDP (New Democrats) is kind of the little engine that could have Canadian parties, as it's always in the shadow of the Libs and Cons. Anything else is literally called "the rest" by basically everyone.

I stand corrected, then.
1413  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: -ROBOT MASTER THREAD- on: 7 October 2008, 02:13:34
Did you just ask Rez that?
1414  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 6 October 2008, 20:50:18
Ha, reminds me of something that happened to one of my father's friends in high school.

Except that guy slept through lunch.
1415  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: The Official Mega Man 9 Topic on: 6 October 2008, 20:33:59
You fight some of the RMs at various points in the Endless mode.
Not sure if you ever see anything else (I'm hoping there are no Wily machines).
1416  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: The Official Mega Man 9 Topic on: 6 October 2008, 19:43:32
It is fun.
Annoying, but fun.
I hate those "jump just high enough to get over the barrier because there are spikes right above". It's a good day when I get that right.

But to be honest it is pretty cool to see how far you can get, and figuring out which weapon to use in the puzzles are nice. And it's forgiving enough to usually provide you with a scenario where you can recoup some life and energy.

I tried a good three or four times and only made it 77 screens though.
1417  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: The Official Mega Man 9 Topic on: 6 October 2008, 18:48:30
I also have a dilemma.
Only 400 Wii Points left. That's enough for just one of the special modes...
... or I could save my points for later and buy some other WiiWare/VC stuff.

If I was going to get one of these things, which does MMM suggest?
1418  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: The Official Mega Man 9 Topic on: 6 October 2008, 18:15:24
I really don't care to buy any of the DC.
Just means their strategy to withhold content that should have been included in the first place is working.

That and I can just watch it on YouTube.
1419  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show Yourselves! on: 6 October 2008, 17:45:09
(I was joking. I need some tool tips or something, man.)

Those are synonyms.
1423  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: If you could have any material thing... on: 6 October 2008, 15:55:16
Uh... A Girlfriend?

Seconded.

You people really, really have to keep in mind that this is just for that one moment.
1424  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: What do you do in your spare time? on: 6 October 2008, 15:54:23
It's just that nobody joins.
We never expect new people to join.
1425  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Upcoming Games Topic on: 6 October 2008, 15:53:07
Metal Man is in MM2, Fatso.
1426  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Majors on: 6 October 2008, 13:33:47
You know, I wish we had as many warring political parties in the US as you guys did in Canada.

I mean we have just the Republicrats, and then there's a bunch of little guys no one votes for.
It's sad.

...
... this topic has gone way off the deep end.
1427  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: If you could have any material thing... on: 6 October 2008, 13:31:17
Prof Hazard is still alive?
I will having to sarprize his web sitting!
1428  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Upcoming Games Topic on: 6 October 2008, 13:29:50
As soon as they made Dust Man you know they've run out of ideas.
although that is MM4
1429  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: -ROBOT MASTER THREAD- on: 6 October 2008, 13:27:28
Match Man is still my hero, but Plastic Man is just plain awesome.
although reference to the superhero of the same name would have been cool too
1430  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Goodbye Pisces - Art Thread on: 6 October 2008, 13:25:09
Dinah kinda reminds me of that Harry McDougal guy from Outlaw Star.
Kinda.

As for changing the design... not sure. I hate it when I take a crack at something only to discover it's been done later on, but the truth is this happens more often than not.

You could spend a long time trying to come up with something new, or you could change Medusa's design just enough... like you said.
If the outfit is different, which I'm pretty sure it is, you could probably get away with changing the color or even her face structure if you want.

Not really sure though.
1431  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: -ROBOT MASTER THREAD- on: 6 October 2008, 04:26:10
Match Man is my hero.
1432  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Stand-Up Comedy on: 6 October 2008, 00:42:27
Without asking I'm guessing you don't like Gaffigan.
Which is OK by me.

Oh, and there is one comedian I do think particularly highly of.
That would be Gallagher.

Not because he's funny, but more because he smashes open watermelons.
1433  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Stand-Up Comedy on: 6 October 2008, 00:39:27
I don't really follow any of them.
I know maybe a handful of current ones, and most of my "favorites" are usually run of the mill guys like young Bill Cosby, George Carlin, Ellen DeGeneres...

... what most people might think of as too mainstream.
But this is probably a result of me not watching any TV but Food Network and Discovery.
Any.

Some YouTube links would be cool in this thread, so I'll start with one I just thought of:
Hot Pockets. Mmm.
1434  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show Your Stuff! (lots of images) on: 5 October 2008, 23:31:39
That will happen with most string instruments.
You have to build up some callouses to really get in to it.
1435  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: GENERAL X SERIES ENQUIRIES on: 5 October 2008, 23:25:49
And mine.
1436  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show your Avatars! on: 5 October 2008, 23:19:49
That way is for patsies.
I'm trying out Opera right now.

It's nowhere near as fleshed out as my Firefox was, and typing one character...
... just not going to be worth it.

YouTube and other sites are in default style, which I hate. The Speed Dial thing is totally useless compared to the bookmarks toolbar. No Altavista support (I like narrow search engines).

Definite plusses are... uhh... clicking on words to do searches/dictionary things.

I could probably spend a few days trying to bring it up to speed with GreaseMonkey and Stlish (assuming Stylish works, which I don't think it does), but all in all, just not worth the effort.

At least not right now.

anyway, back to avatars
1437  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show your Avatars! on: 5 October 2008, 22:55:47
Shouldn't matter, alt-codes are designed to be universal.
I'm able to get it just fine on Opera, but cannot on Firefox...
That's why I was asking...
*banging head into desk*

Ugh.
I'm going to have to switch browsers?
That's bull#####.
Pure bull#####.
1438  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show your Avatars! on: 5 October 2008, 22:32:26
ಠ益ಠ
That didn't help at all.
1439  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show your Avatars! on: 5 October 2008, 22:02:33
á != ಠ

alt+3232 => á
1440  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show your Avatars! on: 5 October 2008, 21:44:39
I wish I knew the alt+ codes for those characters.
1441  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: GENERAL X SERIES ENQUIRIES on: 5 October 2008, 19:34:17
With the minor exception of Blizzard Buffalo's theme.
1442  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Upcoming Games Topic on: 5 October 2008, 18:19:01
Ico is a far cry from it.
For one thing, you're not on an escort mission there.
For another, Ico was mostly 3D, like SotC.
1443  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Majors on: 5 October 2008, 16:56:55
Tell that to some large-business CEOs.
I'm sure they'll agree that public education is where the money should be.

You tasteless wavehole.
1445  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: If you could have any material thing... on: 5 October 2008, 16:16:45
Just for that one moment, huh?

One of these.

I've had maybe one in my entire life, and I still consider it one of my favorite foods.
Can't go wrong with meat wrapped in bread.
1446  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The MOVIE Thread on: 5 October 2008, 14:53:49
Looked more like some sort of cheap-yet-overpriced crap you'd find at Pier-1 Imports.
1447  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Trip Down Memory Lane! on: 5 October 2008, 14:52:07
I bet you were a thirsty boy.
1448  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Trip Down Memory Lane! on: 5 October 2008, 14:23:19
You got cereal?
1449  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: -ROBOT MASTER THREAD- on: 5 October 2008, 14:22:04
Neat.

I'd say umbrella shield.
While it's active you've got an umbrella out that can block and return shots like Protoman's shield, and it faces the direction you tap on the controller. Either one would be kinda neat, but Xero's seems a little more useful than what I was thinking.
1450  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Upcoming Games Topic on: 5 October 2008, 14:20:09
Yeah, something like that.

Man, Little Big Planet looks cooler than I thought it could.
