>You find yourself in a room and you don't remember why. >All you see is a door, a mat, a rope, a pit, a rectangular opening in the wall, and an area of cracked wall. >You wonder what's on TV. >So what're you going to do now?

MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Weekly MChat Revival!
|
on: 28 July 2009, 21:43:35
|
Hai guyz! This was Nova's idea, so blame him if it doesn't work. So Nova was all like "We should schedule times and stuff for MChat!" So how about we try it even though it most likely won't work out? What time's good for y'all? I'm thinking like Firday at 3pm Central Time.

Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Let's help Sano download Steam, because he's a retard.
|

|
So, I'm downloading Steam. It just asked me my internet connection speed. Problem is, I don't know it. How can I find out what my internet connection speed is? I would ask someone over some sort of messanger, but since I'm on a new computer I don't want to reinstall all that crap just yet 'cuz it always made my old computer run slow.

So yeah, like a few days ago Club Nintendo became available in North America. So, now all of us North Americans can register our products and take surveys to earn points to buy silly stuff.
One problem. I can't log in. Has anyone else registered and attempted to log in?

MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Comic Jam - 'Title pending'
|
on: 31 May 2008, 23:34:12
|
Yeah, I was drawing in MS Paint and I randomly drew Sano, then I decided I should just make it into the beginning of a comic jam. So I tacked on some other things and there we go, a very open opening for a comic jam. Don't worry, this one won't turn into an awful solo comic.

Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / If you were making a video game film who would you cast?
|
on: 14 April 2008, 00:33:15
|
Well, I thought this'd be fun. I was just sitting around thinking about all the lame-ish video game movies that have been made over the years. So then that pretty much proceeded into me thinking "I wonder what it'd be like if gamers were to have a say in the production of such movies." So yeah, I just thought this'd be something fun for us all to do. We can all just name some video game and then talk about which actors we'd choose for roles in the movie if it were to be made. Simple right? Too bad it probably won't be fun, but I'll give it a whirl anyway.
So yeah, Killer7 the movie, that'd be fun right?
Kun Lan - Hayden Christensen Garcian - Samuel L. Jackson Kaede - Minori Chihara Christopher Mills - Jack Black Kevin - Keanu Reeves Greg Nightmare - Bill Cosby Andrei Ulmeyda - Will Smith Dan Smith - Johnny Yong Bosch Mask De Smith - Alejandro Muñoz Moreno
See, hilarious. That's all I could think of off the top of my head. Now, please someone else particpate in this so I don't feel like a retard.

on: 19 February 2008, 03:12:58

Has anyone here ever actually finished a game in the Harvest Moon series? I mean, jeeze, it's like the most repetitive game ever. I mean getting to the end is like an extreme test of patience. So yeah, anyone ever succeeded in finishing one?

M'kay, I thought it'd be a nice change of pace to have another Comic Jam or something. Yeah, and I just remembered a few Jams back Sano became the villain and it was all good fun, so yeah, I thought it'd be fun to do it again. So yeah, here it is.

Is it just me or has MBoard been really inactive lately? Anyone know any reason why? I mean, there's only about 1 post every few hours now. I mean, it's crazy how much activity has gone down. Did a bunch of Matricians get sick or somethin'?

Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Super Mario Galaxy

I'm surprised there wasn't a topic already. God, SMG is a work of art, it seriously made me feel like I was a wide eyed child again, playing Super Mario 64 on my shiny new N64 for the very first time, a really magical feeling on account of it being the first game I ever played and all. I was afraid the whole game was going to be like the last level you play as Knuckles (maybe it was Rouge, but whatever, the space one) in Sonic Adventure 2, with all those sphere shaped planets that turned the controls into poop. Thankfully the controls of which way to go were only a small annoyance at only a few points. The art direction and concepts were beautiful and true to the Mario style, ya know, make everything adorable, make epic explosions happen, a few epic boss battles, et cetera. How about that soundtrack? One or two songs that got annoying, most of 'em were just hum-alongs, but there were actually a few that made me stop and go "Wow, that's some good music.", I mean absolutely brilliant music that really makes you feel like you're on some awesome adventure. Difficulty? Well, there is some to be desired at some points, but a few points were challenging. I mean with the added challenge of Daredevil Comets giving you only one health unit made it difficult at a few points. Some of those Purple Coin Comet levels were pretty difficult when you had a time limit. So, how about Bowser, wasn't he about a million times bigger in Sunshine, and a lot less epic? I mean Bowser boss fights seriously felt dramatic, the music was awesome and Bowser seemed like he was actually a powerful foe even though most people could overcome him the first or second time. Baby Bowser... Koopa Kid... Bowser Jr.... Bowser's Son's boss battles were far less interesting to me though, boring, tedious, easy. Overall the game was amazing, you guys will agree with me this time right?

Who else bought it off of the Virtual Console and instantly fell in love with it? ...Then creamed their pants when they saw that Saki would be an assist trophy in Brawl? I mean, how awesome is an off the rail rail shooter that originally never came to America but for some reason had English voices? Did I mention the gameplay is incredibly satisfying? Come on, somebody else must've played this game!
