1301  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 5 December 2007, 02:15:50
For any parties who are interested.
1302  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: The Rise and Fall of the Matrix on: 5 December 2007, 01:53:02
I really want to suggest adding Jin to the lamer list, but I know some people here had/have a soft spot for him, so you may want to ask around first.

...and I'm guessing Edge doesn't want in...
I don't rightly give a damn, though it's no secret I enjoy some good old fashion self-indulgent ego stroking.

Do as you please.
1303  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: Any ideas for the future of MMM? on: 5 December 2007, 01:47:10
...or we're all really THAT sad.

I prefer to think of us as a strong community with co-dependence issues.
1304  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Death Note on: 4 December 2007, 23:50:26
With as symbolic and deliberate as the rest of it is, it's a wonder anyone would think otherwise.
1305  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show Yourselves! on: 4 December 2007, 23:47:33
*fidgets and shoves Sano at OD* GET HIM!
1306  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Death Note on: 4 December 2007, 23:33:39
...Yet they call him "Eru"?

Makes sense doesn't it? Even when there's no way to pronounce something, you still attempt to find a way to verbalize it. Like when Prince changed his name to a symbol and everyone still called him "The artist formerly known as Prince". It just so happens that this symbol already has a name.
1307  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: I seriously fear Mega Man's future. on: 4 December 2007, 22:53:14
Brawl could be used to have Mega Man pull a Metroid.

I can only imagine how exciting that would be for Rez.
1308  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: Welcome back! on: 4 December 2007, 22:51:16
So we hear.
1309  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 4 December 2007, 22:44:40
Maybe all of the world as a whole just acts as Hollywood's ugly friend.

You know, the one they only associate with so they look better?
1310  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Death Note on: 4 December 2007, 22:42:10
Is L named so because there's no actual sound for that letter in Japanese?

I don't know much japanese, but I wouldn't be surprised.
1311  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: The Rise and Fall of the Matrix on: 4 December 2007, 22:40:37
You have to go through the whole story naked.

This sounds like another Wily trial in the making.
1312  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 4 December 2007, 22:39:39
If I believed my actions warranted karmic retaliation, then I would have to expect punishment for any instance in which I noticed a pattern and observed it. As far as I'm concerned, what I do is no more different than watching how someone reacts at their surprise birthday party when you know that it's anything but a surprise for them.

Kind of like watching actors in a really, really big movie.
1313  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Death Note on: 4 December 2007, 22:33:32
I saw the live action thing too... but I can't honestly think of any actor who could represent L well. His nature was almost inhumanly concise, and I don't think you can correctly express that unless you have absolute control of yourself.

I don't honestly think anyone has that.
1314  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: The Rise and Fall of the Matrix on: 4 December 2007, 22:30:22
Only if I can take you as my concubine.
1315  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 4 December 2007, 22:28:56
The best part about ugly babies is watching how people act. Of course, if it was MY ugly baby it would be a different story.

Of course, I don't have ANY kids, so I'll bask in morbid amusement without context born guilt.
1316  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The corrupted wish game. on: 4 December 2007, 22:23:36
Granted but then you become an asshole in the eyes of the world for being yourself.

*laughs* Thank you.
1317  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Heroes on: 4 December 2007, 22:22:19
...to the point where it's presence seems forced and obnoxious.

It's not a secret if it's constantly in the room screaming "I'M A SECRET! ME! OVER HERE!"
1318  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Death Note on: 4 December 2007, 22:18:08
I watched the entire series in about a week roughly two months ago. While I loved the first two-thirds of it or so, it lost something along the way.

It's been a long time since I've seen an anime with such intentional moral ambiguity and wit though, even if it is occasionally heavy-handed.
1319  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: I seriously fear Mega Man's future. on: 4 December 2007, 22:14:25
Honestly, I can only see this as a good omen. Maybe, as a result, there will be something left of the series that will remain unspoiled.

God forbid we see any more retcon.
1320  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: The Rise and Fall of the Matrix on: 4 December 2007, 22:11:33
Oh yes he does.
1321  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 4 December 2007, 22:10:41
It's like those pictures of ugly babies. You feel as though you should act like it's cute, but it just feels like a completely hollow gesture.
1322  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The corrupted wish game. on: 4 December 2007, 20:49:06
Your wish does not come true.

I wish being an 'average American' didn't make me an asshole in the eyes of the rest of the world.
1323  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: The Rise and Fall of the Matrix on: 4 December 2007, 20:42:05
A few lamers:

Peter Herdsman, Zombiedragon (albeit they were a DASH! problem as well. I have problems sorting out which trash was from where), Lance, Nall, and of course, Chimera.
1324  MegaMan Series / Zero Series / Re: Zero Complete Work Discussion on: 4 December 2007, 20:21:38
Exactly. There's actual content there. That's my point.
1325  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: Welcome back! on: 4 December 2007, 18:32:32
...and so it is written.

This is all so prophetic.
1326  MegaMan Series / Zero Series / Re: Zero Complete Work Discussion on: 4 December 2007, 18:29:54
A few aberrant instances don't change the fact that my quote is true more often than not.

Not that I think that's a bad thing, nor do I pretend I'm not the same way.

Though... it DOES mean that I always read through your posts as opposed to skipping them (as I'm prone to do)
1327  MegaMan Series / Legends Series / Re: Would YOU pay 15 MILLION for a Legends 3? on: 4 December 2007, 18:25:54
You're very deserving of the Priest moniker, as there are few who preach so much truth.
1328  MegaMan Series / Zero Series / Re: Zero Complete Work Discussion on: 4 December 2007, 16:50:44
When I offer MY opinion on ANYTHING [...] it won't be good.  Your milage may vary.

WS feels himself.
1330  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: MMO Suggestions on: 4 December 2007, 16:46:48
It's a never ending quest for fulfillment in the wrong things.

It's amazing how many things that can be said about.

1332  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: Any ideas for the future of MMM? on: 4 December 2007, 13:12:26
Unless there was some "don't ask, just be offered" rule, I think it would get out of hand.

I imagine there would be.
1333  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney 3 Trials and Tribulations OST by Rez on: 4 December 2007, 05:48:28
Cheers Rez.

Semi-Off-topic: I'm looking very, very forward to Harvey Birdman.
1334  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: MMO Suggestions on: 4 December 2007, 05:47:04
I don't blame you.

I still get Nexus cravings now and again though. Now THAT'S a hard game to hack. Almost ALL info kept on their servers, and employees who constantly scan for edited packets.
1335  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Actually, two major enough X series games subjects on: 4 December 2007, 05:42:07
...woah...
1336  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The corrupted wish game. on: 4 December 2007, 05:41:06
Granted, but it only causes women to menstruate.

I'm pretty sure that makes it one of the most terrifying biological weapons known to mankind.
1337  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Heroes on: 4 December 2007, 05:39:31
His acting is just as ##### now (if not more so) than it was in Election. Everything about him smacks of an Emo Smallville episode. Particularly any shot where he's flying while carrying Claire.
1338  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: MMO Suggestions on: 4 December 2007, 05:32:12
You can give yourself a leg up by going on whichever server had the feather symbol, and looking for any members of a guild called Section 8, namely a gentlemen named Slayer666, and tell him Edgecrusher told you to speak to him. He'll let you in and the guild will keep you up to date on the latest hacking methods. It's good to have friends that bored programmers.
1339  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: Any ideas for the future of MMM? on: 4 December 2007, 05:24:50
Cheers. It was a fantastic status symbol. If there was someone in Mchat with their own avatar, it commanded a certain degree of respect.
1340  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The corrupted wish game. on: 4 December 2007, 04:52:39
Alex: Granted, but you 'move in' with Vinchenz here.

I wish it was possible for people to mind their own god damn business.
1341  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: MMO Suggestions on: 4 December 2007, 04:46:14
If it's tedious, you're doing it wrong. The best part of hacking that game is leaving it to it's own devices, and coming back a day or two later and reaping the rewards.
1342  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Heroes on: 4 December 2007, 04:29:16
I want them to kill the emo flying kid. His acting is horrible, even for THIS show.

I much prefer Dexter or (R.I.P.) Carnivale *crosses self*
1343  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: MMO Suggestions on: 4 December 2007, 04:24:33
Or hack the ##### out of Maple Story
1344  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Sin and Punishment? on: 4 December 2007, 04:23:17
*laughs* I #####ing love this board.
1345  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: Favorite Stage Enemy on: 4 December 2007, 04:11:08
Batton

As far as I'm concerned, the bats have almost as much personality as the mets, without the obnoxious degree of saturation.
1346  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 4 December 2007, 04:08:36
I personally need a little more motivation than that.

Almost all the work I do somehow involves this laptop. When you're forced to look at a reminder not to slack, it does wonders. I know you wouldn't think so, but I was surprised as well.
1347  MegaMan Series / Legends Series / Re: Name-copy? on: 4 December 2007, 02:14:46
He was. They both wear blue and fight evil.
1348  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show your Avatars! on: 4 December 2007, 02:03:10
You can't update something that is fully evolved anyway.

Point.
1349  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: MMO Suggestions on: 4 December 2007, 02:02:13
That's why I liked Nexus. You didn't have to get involved in PVP if you didn't want to. The subpaths were a fantastic chance to role-play, and the more involved you become in the community, the more there was for you to do. Honestly, I always wondered why we even had PVPrs playing Nexus, but to each their own.
1350  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: The Fall of Megaman/Rise of X on: 4 December 2007, 01:56:11
I'm not even talking about agreeing on how it should end. I think even if they somehow wrote a story line that pleased all of us, it would still never live up to what we would want it to be. Our (or at least my) expectations and preconceptions are unrealistic to the point of making a satisfying ending an impossible task.

I like the open ended sort of do-it-yourself vibe. Even IF is spawns all sorts of abysmal fan fiction.
