I really want to suggest adding Jin to the lamer list, but I know some people here had/have a soft spot for him, so you may want to ask around first. ...and I'm guessing Edge doesn't want in... I don't rightly give a damn, though it's no secret I enjoy some good old fashion self-indulgent ego stroking. Do as you please.

...Yet they call him "Eru"?
Makes sense doesn't it? Even when there's no way to pronounce something, you still attempt to find a way to verbalize it. Like when Prince changed his name to a symbol and everyone still called him "The artist formerly known as Prince". It just so happens that this symbol already has a name.

If I believed my actions warranted karmic retaliation, then I would have to expect punishment for any instance in which I noticed a pattern and observed it. As far as I'm concerned, what I do is no more different than watching how someone reacts at their surprise birthday party when you know that it's anything but a surprise for them.
Kind of like watching actors in a really, really big movie.

I saw the live action thing too... but I can't honestly think of any actor who could represent L well. His nature was almost inhumanly concise, and I don't think you can correctly express that unless you have absolute control of yourself.
I don't honestly think anyone has that.

...to the point where it's presence seems forced and obnoxious.
It's not a secret if it's constantly in the room screaming "I'M A SECRET! ME! OVER HERE!"

I watched the entire series in about a week roughly two months ago. While I loved the first two-thirds of it or so, it lost something along the way.
It's been a long time since I've seen an anime with such intentional moral ambiguity and wit though, even if it is occasionally heavy-handed.

A few aberrant instances don't change the fact that my quote is true more often than not.
Not that I think that's a bad thing, nor do I pretend I'm not the same way.
Though... it DOES mean that I always read through your posts as opposed to skipping them (as I'm prone to do)

I don't blame you.
I still get Nexus cravings now and again though. Now THAT'S a hard game to hack. Almost ALL info kept on their servers, and employees who constantly scan for edited packets.

His acting is just as ##### now (if not more so) than it was in Election. Everything about him smacks of an Emo Smallville episode. Particularly any shot where he's flying while carrying Claire.

You can give yourself a leg up by going on whichever server had the feather symbol, and looking for any members of a guild called Section 8, namely a gentlemen named Slayer666, and tell him Edgecrusher told you to speak to him. He'll let you in and the guild will keep you up to date on the latest hacking methods. It's good to have friends that bored programmers.

If it's tedious, you're doing it wrong. The best part of hacking that game is leaving it to it's own devices, and coming back a day or two later and reaping the rewards.

I want them to kill the emo flying kid. His acting is horrible, even for THIS show.
I much prefer Dexter or (R.I.P.) Carnivale *crosses self*

That's why I liked Nexus. You didn't have to get involved in PVP if you didn't want to. The subpaths were a fantastic chance to role-play, and the more involved you become in the community, the more there was for you to do. Honestly, I always wondered why we even had PVPrs playing Nexus, but to each their own.

I'm not even talking about agreeing on how it should end. I think even if they somehow wrote a story line that pleased all of us, it would still never live up to what we would want it to be. Our (or at least my) expectations and preconceptions are unrealistic to the point of making a satisfying ending an impossible task.
I like the open ended sort of do-it-yourself vibe. Even IF is spawns all sorts of abysmal fan fiction.
