Agreed. I enjoy movies much more when I share the experience with someone else.
I have to admit, while I'm apprehensive as hell, I'm tempted to see Cloverfield based on what I've heard.

If it was Nall, you'd know.
He uses his name more than other people do.
Also, I'd like to point out that I'm not encouraging anyone to dislike someone they haven't interacted with. Talk to the guy and THEN decide if you dislike him.
I'm just explaining how I saw him, and why we don't speak.

*laughs* I love modern day tech-metal, or metalcore, or whatever they're calling it these days.
As if technical proficiency alone can make a song good.
Now, for the sake of being hypocritical:
Current: "Rebirth of the Temple" - Silent Civilian
I consider them an exception to my previous snarky remark.

Wait a sec....
Blarg!?
OMG NALL!!!
So, you suspect this character is Nall? I never knew of him/her.
Blarg was something Nall used to say as a term of disgust, so that's where the suspicions came from. You didn't miss much in not knowing him. From how I remember him, he spent most of his time attesting to his own greatness, often using (and misspelling) terms like ineffable and infallible. He held a place in the hearts of some of the members of the board, while other members had a fairly strong distaste for him. He disappeared for awhile for reasons that will go undiscussed, and later fell pray to the plotting of a handful of board members who tricked him into relinquishing his password. The resultant loss of his super robot status, combined with his pride, caused him to create a new user account and post 50 consecutive smiley faces in order to lose the title of noob. Abe disapproved and removed his spam, to which Nall threw a further fit and quit the board. He returned once more to curse the names of a few people and vanished again. He can still be found trolling around the GameFAQs boards, as well as a few other boards involving webcomics. That pretty much sums him up. Also, Yubi has an excellent entry in Urban Dictionary to describe him.

Yeah. I've seen discs get traded in that I'm fairly certain had been in someones ass.
Granted, I've watched most discs that were fairly bad get sent off for refurbishing.
I've also worked with some serious idiots, so it's pretty much a crap shoot.

That's why I would never use our website. I've SEEN some of the discs that pass under the radar, and I'm an unholy bastard when it comes to being retentive about my discs.
If I can't see the disc firsthand before buying it used, I probably won't.

Isn't is cute when noobs don't realize you can't change the font size of topic headings?
I just wish he was an actual quality lamer, as opposed to some kid with no fresh ideas who seems overly impressed with his ability to enlarge font sizes.
Then again, it probably feels good to have something that he CAN make bigger.

Bah, you don't know what old is. Xero, White Shadow, Speed Racer and myself are about the oldest members left. Aside from the ABDOMINATOR!!! lulz.
You forgot someone.

Yeah, be pretty gentle, just no smashing or anything and it should be fine though. Remember: it's never the controller, you just suck.
I am indeed quite terrible at it, but the controllers break under minimal wear. My whammy bar broke and now has no spring to it. The Rock Band equipment is even worse. You KNOW you're playing cheaply made accessories when the game flat out warns you to just contact THEM if anything breaks, and not the store from whence the fine plastic garbage was purchased. Any GameStop employees here can tell you, that doesn't actually stop anyone.

It's possible to create bar codes that say pretty much anything. I have one on my name tag at work that translates to my full name.
As far as getting it to work when scanned, no. Bar codes are made with a degree of precision that no tattoo artist can accomplish.
Never mind that it's impossible to tattoo lines thinner than a certain point.

Probably original. That'd be the one. I remember my best friend having the black lion action figure. Years later when Power rangers came out with the yellow tiger figure, something seemed strangely familiar.

Yes, Super Human Samurai Cyber-Squad. What a wonderful show.
Of course, they weren't as awesome as Big Bad Beetle Borgs.
Let's face it though, Voltron totally ripped off the Power Rangers and all their ilk.

You can't honestly say that it's missing the platforming aspect. There were actually a hand full of times where the platforming (see climbing up any of those tall corridors) became tedious. I will give you that, with the exception of the grapple beam, high jump boots, gravity suit, spider ball, and screw attack, none of the new power ups really expand your platforming abilities.
But wait... that's always been the case.

I've listed all sorts of reasons as to why it's a good Metroid title, so at least the "it just is" group can come up with a solid list. I'm curious why it DOESN'T play like a Metroid game, outside of "It's an FPS". As far as I'm concerned, all that changed is the perspective you're presented with. Sure, you didn't see through Samus's eyes before, but even now that you are, she's doing the exact same ##### she's always done.
