There are times where I want to spend money on games that look good or I hear are good, but can't afford it.
Shadow the Hedgehog was one of those games.
Sometimes, you have to thank your empty wallet for being empty.

Do not buy "Sonic and the Secret Rings". I bought it at a flea market hearing it was a decent Sonic game this time around. It plays nothing like Sonic, besides the fact you run fast. You can only run in one direction. Tried returning it, but the darn place wouldn't give my money back, just store credit...
If you're a Yu-Gi-Oh! fan, this probably goes without saying it, but don't buy "Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2007", not because it's outdated, but because unlocking packs without cheating is torture. Certain packs can only be unlocked through challenges, and you can only unlock some packs by S-ranking them. To get an S-rank, you most likely have to do something absurd in 5 turns. For example: "Gather all 5 pieces of Exodia and win the duel." That's actually an easy one compared to others. Also, Konami thought it'd be a brilliant idea to make one of the challenges consist of winning the duel using "Destiny Board", but that's impossible to S-rank, since the fastest you can do that is in 8 turns. Before buying any Yu-Gi-Oh! game, check the ratings, any glitches in the game (card glitches ruin gameplay), how to play, and any online interaction on the game. Chances are, if it doesn't go by the official game rules, it might just be going by on a gimmick and hardly be fun. Card glitches will make some card effects not work or hard to implement. Online interaction so far in the World Championship is a failure, so good luck getting any high ranking online, because everyone will either disconnect when losing (therefore you don't get any points) or cheat.
Downright don't buy "Nightmare Troubadour" for one of the above reasons, it's FULL of glitches.
Unless you're absolutely sure you WANT to play it, I advise you to not buy "Super Paper Mario". The game constantly uses the same gimmick in every stage, and it WILL get boring. By the time you beat the game, if you have that enough patience, you won't desire to play this game anymore. Buy the other two previous Paper Mario titles instead, especially Thousand-Year Old Door.

I'm just glad that stop-time chips actually do damage during the time they've stopped moving, and not after. It kinda adds to the fun when your opponent is getting smacked around. It would've been a little nice to have the Star Force theme in GBA-esc music though, or Battle Network in Star Force (mainly the former). Posted on: 16 October 2009, 15:37:05 Trailer

I'm too busy extracting the decent and good from the filthy garbage to discuss, so give me a minute. Posted on: 16 October 2009, 03:21:40
I'm picking the ones I like out of these, and there are a lot of them that sound really good and make me think "Alright. I'll listen to this regularly." But I still doubt and listen to the rest of it to make sure, and they just ruin it later in the track or make it really boring. Interestingly enough, most of the tracks I'm choosing are 8-bit versions of themes that aren't 8-bit yet, because every 8-bit remix of already 8-bit songs sound worse than the original. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I would like Bright Man and Blizzard Man otherwise, but they just have something later on in the song that just irks me. Posted on: 16 October 2009, 03:36:26
I like these out of them all. The rest are crud. Oil Man & Time Man Opening Stage (MM&B) Ground Man Tengu Man Megawater S & Wily Tower 4 Wily Stage 2 (MM4) Opening (MM3) & Snake Man Bubble Man Fire Man

I got to Wily so I'm assuming this is it. Cut Man Stage > Cut Man Fire Man Stage > Fire Man Elec Man Stage > Elec Man Ice Man Stage > Ice Man Dr. Wily Stage 1 > Quick Man, Flash Man, Bubble Man, Heat Man, and Enker Dr. Wily Stage 2 > Dr. Wily (phase 1 and 2) Yes. Fighting the four MM2 bosses in one stage caught me by surprise. Also, Flash Man is a jerk in this one. Posted on: 13 October 2009, 05:02:13
Yup. That's all there is. THANK YOU FOR PLAYING

I still need to review the 2nd one. I also last saw it in the theater and I cannot remember anything that happened (except for a new cowgirl toy and buzz encountering his nemesis in a toy store or something) for the life of me.
I thought the 1st one was better, but again, opinionsssss... they changeeeee...

The local game shop near me, Play N Trade, called to notify me that they're giving away $5 store credit to their good customers. I dropped by and saw Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Revenge for $3, so I grabbed it.
So, pretty much, I got a free Mega Man game today.
And while I'm playing it/hanging out with Annie, the guy calls me again (by accident) to tell me I have $5 store credit. He felt a little embarrassed when I told him I was just there ten minutes ago, but I'd gladly take the $5.

Oh, I mean this Snake Man mix isn't as bad as the others in THIS album. That one is definitely cool. If they want to mix up songs, don't do it in 8-bit. Posted on: 3 October 2009, 17:57:27
Alright guys. Anybody have the actual MP3s to Chip Tuned Rockman (and MM9 Original Soundtrack while we're at it)? MM9 music isn't on TMMN (because Capcom requested it off), and Capcom just filed a copyright claim to all Chip Tuned Rockman music on Youtube.
