OMG SO MUCH FUN.
I tried some of that stuff (with Annie) using a Gamecube controller in the 2nd port. IT'S SO WORTH IT, so much you can do. If you guys want to try this glitchy stuff for MM1-4 on the virtual console, it's worth your $5. Give each a shot.
MM3 only really needs the 2nd controller though and seems to be the most interesting because... well... it's one of the most "loose" and glitchy Mega Man games ever. Usually when I say that, I mean it in a bad way, but this stuff is SERIOUSLY fun and goofy. Again, definitely try it out.

Whatever the case, I just got the game. I have yet to play it though. Posted on: 28 January 2010, 20:34:37
Just started the game. Now I need to understand the basics. Trying to find out "how to play".

"How would you describe a work day for your dad?" "Poor thing..." Instant sign that he doesn't get much free time. He is incredibly devoted to his son. Posted on: 25 January 2010, 03:49:34
My Macroeconomics teacher is so awesome. On the first day of class, he asked everyone why they took the class and what it's about. He said that if they were here to learn how to make money, they're at the wrong place. "If every economist knew how to make money, I wouldn't be here. This is what economics is about: *que Rolling Stones music 'You Can't Always Get What You Want'*" Today, he was talking about the 10 Principles of Economics and for fun, he showed us this video of a "Stand Up Economist" he met. You should really get a kick out of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVp8UGjECt4

If you have Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum, this is for you. Starting January 30th until Valentine's Day, a "Pikachu-colored Pichu" is up for grabs. Even further, if you plan to buy Pokemon HeartGold or SoulSilver, you can send this Pichu to the game and unlock an event. This event is ONLY accessible in this way.

That's just an experimental piece of work. I'm using Paint.Net to work on the final production. It's part of the background and I'm just gonna outline everything I want, and color it. Hopefully it comes out well, because I really don't have an idea what I'm doing when it comes to coloring. Posted on: 10 October 2009, 05:15:21
Flip flopping between projects. Here is an enemy for Snare's Stage. It's a carefree cactus enemy who's only joy in life is to stay in the sun and fire shots in the air at random. However, he has a temper. Should you shoot at him, thorns will emerge and fire in every direction. I intend to make his angry sprite red and have him animate by bobbing his head left in right very quickly. EDIT: Instead of bobbing, I'll just make him angry. Easier to sprite and implement. Here's da sprite.

If it's a collection game, I'd focus adding a bunch of games that play like the original, and then bonus content. That's all.
They're not fixing anything Xero. If you hated every Zero game, you'll hate the Zero collection.

Proto Man is great besides the fact he only shoots twice when Mega Man shoots three shots at a time.
Not to mention the damage bit. If you're constantly taking damage in MM9 you might need practice.

I think the MegaMan Zero is a bad MEGAMAN game and an overall disappointment, but the biggest offenses are primarily art-wise and story-wise.
There are some gameplay flaws in comparison to many other MegaMan games, but taking that aside I find them to be pretty solid games on their own. I enjoyed them.
I at LEAST think they're better than X5 and X6.
I wouldn't take it as far as X5. I remotely enjoyed X5 my first time playing it. I don't want to play it again, but it was okay. My main beefs were the choice of system. It's not as bad with ZX for some reason, but still. X5 was set on your television screen. The Zero games are not. Example: Playing X1 is much better than playing MHX. I know where I'm jumping and it doesn't tick me off that I fell to my death because I couldn't see where I was going. But contradictory to all this handheld bashing, I really enjoyed playing Dr. Wily's Revenge over and over again because it was a handheld. It just really depends how you make the game I guess.

I've been wanting to give the series another shot anyway, so this might be worth it personally. Thing is, I'm not going to buy it when it comes out. I need money and there is better stuff out there. I'd rather spend my money on Tasunoko (sp?) vs Capcom.
And of course, Mega Man 10.

I agree with Blade Man on the EXE bit.
Blade Man and Chill Man's silhouette looked weird, and so do their actual art. It was a little predictable.
And yeah, Dive Man did look like Pump Man, but I never really cared about that connection. Magma Man kinda looked like Needle Man. (Although Pump Man really looks TOO much like Dive Man)
Opinions vary it seems, but I do like Solar Man, Strike Man, Nitro Man, and Commando Man. Commando Man the most. Sheep, Blade, Chill, and Pump each have a bit of awkwardness to me.

Jewel Satellite was one of the best weapons ever. I don't think it should be topped, just so things stay balanced.
Like, this should stop projectiles and weak enemies, then fire in every direction or something. A little like Junk Shield but better.
We'll see what Capcom/Inti/Inafune have planned.

I think my Chill Man years ago was better. Strike Man is ridiculous, but I like him too as well. Posted on: 13 January 2010, 19:24:24
Just checked out my Chill Man drawing I did 4 years ago. I think I might have mentally redid the design, because he's supposed to have an icicle in his buster, and I think the concept is better, but that's just me.
